Granted, almost every high-end build for Steel Path's gonna put Prime Sure Footed on (since knockdown/stagger is a death sentence at that level of play, unless you have some means of avoiding it or run Secondary Fortifier), but KMF had it on an Atlas Prime build (y'know, the Warframe whose passive grants him knockdown/stagger immunity as long as he's on the ground).

Wouldn't have minded so much had they just made the characters less shit or at least allowed me to let them die. Seriously they give you a quicktime event but when you let it tick down it doesn't fail, you can sit there for however long you like and it doesn't do anything until you mash that button to win. I waited ten minutes just to see Qunicy get blown up by that tank again but was denied.

I'm saying my peace in one post then dipping because I don't wanna deal with this game anymore.
I was an avid player between the Equinox update all the way up to the introduction of Railjack. It was my main game nearly every day for that 4 year timespan and I saw it's quality decline in realtime after the kino that was Plains of Eidolon.
March 2019 was when I got so sick of Warframe's bullshit it made me outright quit playing it. In that single month:
I had such a bad taste in my mouth when it came to anything Warframe it caused me to drop the game like a bad habit.
I picked it up again last year because my friends were looking to try something different from Destiny 2 (yes, I quit Warframe to play that. You may all point and laugh at me) and I used it as an excuse to see how WF's changed. It's alright, but it feels like the old soul's been lost a long time ago. I wouldn't recommend playing it past The New War. Dropped it again right before 1999 released and it sounds like I dodged a bullet lmao. Doesn't leave me any confidence in Soulframe tbh
(Entrati Labs tileset is pretty cool though. Murum Vull is a strong music track.)

- Railjack released in one of the most buggy, unpolished states I have ever seen the game in. The command tree/crew system wasn't even included and had been delayed for months, on top of frequent connection losses and crashes. - De_Steve banned the first member of the Founder's program over petty politics (a canuck being a politisperg, DRINK!), before sweeping Founders under the rug and replacing it's existence entirely with the Partner Program (first member was A Gay Guy Plays. Lmfao). Way to show respect to the people that gave you their money and trust to get Warframe where it was, asshole.
- And the cherry on top, the news that DE's parent company Leyou was being bought by Tencent.

Basically, Warframes are like chocolate-coated peanuts except the candy is infestation and the peanut is a human being. That said, the "plap plap" onomatopoeia and caked up Nezha ass is probably what make people feel it was inappropriate. I'm sure having Rhino's codpiece bulging under Nezha's skirt didn't help, either.
Also, some people are apparently trying to spin the narrative that the mods are "homophobic" because "you didn't have and issue when it was females but now you're upset when it's two men" which... please, oh god, please do that because it would be the funniest fucking thing.

Always interesting to see how incredibly gay-centric this game has become. When I quit, it was before the Big Gay Poem plot released. At that time, the big endgame thing was hunting Eidolons, but people had already figured out this meta to where they could kill them in like 5 seconds, and if you didn't have a meta build, you got a bunch of shit flung at you. Personally, I don't understand what the point of even playing a game is if even its biggest challenges can be facerolled in less time than it takes tie my shoes, but I get that's been a huge thing for years (Diablo IV is the same way, just don't even bother clicking anything in a group fight if you don't do infinite dps, just follow and grab loot). Every so often, I wonder if I should pick it back up, and the answer this thread seems to give me is, "no." I just don't think I could avoid catching a ban. Every so often, I can't resist calling somebody a retard, and so many games have AI-monitored chats that I catch instabans.

If you can’t resist typing in chat I would advise you to stay away. The community fucking sucks as you can see from this thread. It’s my daily on console and mobile so I automatically don’t chat with anyone due to that.
From what I can tell there’s two camps of people in the game. Tumbler twitter faggots who gay it up talking about their ships and getting butt blasted by Volt. 1999 made this group much worse. And people like me who just want to turn their brain off after work and kill things for an hour.

I still can’t get over how much I dislike the 1999 update. I enjoyed the quest and even the characters during the quest. But the fucking text dating thing is so cringe and feels totally separate from the game. I havnt interacted with it once since getting rank 5 and I am glad they are not adding more to it. Protoframes themselves are an interesting concept and I like the designs for the characters, but it should have been more body horror and less horny. The fucking underground tileset is graphically beautiful but insane for a game like Warframe where you run at 60 mph and can jump over buildings. I have so many issues navigating it and I HAVE to grind it for the coda weapons.
Speaking of the coda weapons they all seem to blow, and because it’s the same damn tile sets every fucking lich, it’s boring as hell to farm. I get that it’s a mid game level activity but the weapons are all totally uninspired. MR fodder. I really hope this isn’t a sign of weapon designs to come because I have seen no reason to invest in any of these.
I am also extremely worried that the Coda Lich fight is a test for bringing raids back to the game. The whole map is built around dodging the stage effects like a raid boss and it’s kinda shit. They should stick with what they are good at, killing hordes of enemies.
I do think they have made good improvements to the game over the last few years. Whispers in the walls was a highlight, amazing tileset. The buffs to old frames and pets has been welcome. I really hope we get a Tau expansion or maybe something with the Grineer queen soon to wrap up those plot points before we go back to “eternalism”
