Maybe something like this? If you end up going Serration, I'd use Amalgam Serration from the Vallis fissure events. You lose like 5% damage in exchange for 25% sprint speed that you keep regardless of if the weapon is drawn or not. Maybe drop Hammer Shot for this since Wraith doesn't get much out of crit and use Serration or Amal. Serration for the last slot. To be honest, I pretty much just used this weapon as mastery fodder and sold it when I was done.

Yeah, I just threw away regular Serration when I got Amalgam. I use the latter on everything. The speed boost is well worth the minimal damage loss.

And Amalgam Organ Shatter is irreplaceable in maxed out heavy attack builds.

Melee incarnons are pretty useless though, I'd recommend you go for the guns. SP version is a lot grindier to rank up in, but the incarnons are well worth it.

The exceptions are Magistar and Ceramic Dagger. They’re by far the best stat sticks (think Khora whip builds) because the incarnon bonuses are inherited by the skills too. The extra base crit chance is obscene because all mods at applied to it.

@Troonos the Amalgam secondary mod is pretty nice too for frames where you aren’t using your secondary. Otherwise it is inferior to the Galvanised version.

Yeah, I use some or all of the Galvanized mods on every ranged weapon. They're gamechanging.

I need to grab the Galvanized rifle mods, I bought some for shotguns but totally forgot they existed, I think I have plenty of vitus as well.

Im probably gonna give up on the Ignis though, not really having fun with it. I had it built decently before for non SP stuff.

t I got bored and decided to do a Kuva Drakgoon since it seems neat. Hopefully can finish the lich tonight and move onto a nukor.

If anyone has advice I would hear it. I am almost positive I should put serration as the last mod in here. I am trying to fit this riven I got in but I dont know if I should even bother

EDIT: Decided to cycle the riven and got this so I am actually pretty happy.

I'll white knight for this caveman gun.

The 2.5x base crit damage on the Ignis Wraith is definitely above average. The real value of the weapon is the infinite punch through and having the widest beam out of any weapon so you can just shit damage on entire rooms at once.

Combine that with Hunter Munitions for some slash procs and it outclasses a lot of other primaries by a mile. A lot of other primaries with great AoE potential have a terrible ammo economy (Acceltra, Zarr, etc.) but you'd be hard pressed to run out of ammo on this thing. It does stupid damage, is completely brainless to use (big fire go brrr) and that's why it's the most popular gun in the game.

As much as I love a lot of other primaries (especially shotguns), the raw room clearing efficiency of the Ignis is very hard to beat.

(Yes, I'm aware I'm double dipping on with Serration and Merciless but Serration is just there to get the party started)

Yeah, I've had Ignis Wraith built and fully upgraded for years, but I never use it. I've never really enjoyed it. Hold LMB and run forward forever to clear every room is like driving an automatic transmission after decades of driving a manual.

I much prefer to hose down rooms with Soma Prime or Tenora Prime. A frame with fire rate bonus + rapid fire gun and maybe some punch-through for that BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTT-y goodness is one of my favorite things in this game. The Tenora sound design is also magnificent, like much of the sound design in this game.

Soma Prime never felt that great to me either.

I do like Baza Prime. One of my favorite "trad" weapons is Burston Prime. Not automatic, but it just feels so good to shoot, it has an Incarnon, and it can be built to do just fine in SP.

Soma does need its incarnon and an exilus mod to reduce the recoil to truly shine.

Acceltra Prime has been my new go-to room clearer. Goes great with my Gauss Prime and it's just about fully built out. One of the few weapons I actually don't mind using on Steel Path. Before it was the Gotva Prime. Great weapon, but ended up spending like 200 plat getting it because the only way is through trading, Baro (hasn't been on rotation in like half a year) or through Tennocon drops.

I keep meaning to finally build my Acceltra Prime, but then I see what they go for on the market and I'm hungry for plat and my hunger always ends up winning. I'm missing one part right now and I don't know if I should craft it or sell it. Figure the price is gonna drop later. How's the ammo economy on it? I didn't use the non-prime one because I always ran out of ammo when I started having fun.

Gotva can be pretty crazy if you stack Status proc. I still have a spare one I could've given to you, but too late now I guess.

I've given up on ever getting Gauss, Acceltra, or Akarius. The grind is just too painful.

I'd just go ahead and get that last part. You'll have your gun and you can just sell whatever drops for you in the future. Ammo mostly hasn't been too bad, but I run Hunter Munitions to help with that. Plus I always keep ammo/energy restores on my equipment bar so it's not really a factor. I run Critical Delay on it since I get that fire rate back with buffs and 200% crit damage is crunchy.

I got greedy on the Gotva, I saw someone shredding with it and caught a strong case of penis envy. I just went with the cheapest market option. I don't regret it, it's served me well. If you have any more sitting around, I'd throw those up on the market.

I always thought it was kinda funny how the time investment needed for Prime variants and their base counterparts is vastly different. I usually end up caving and just trading up the plat I need to get it from the market. Octavia was like that for me. Fuck the pipe puzzles, I'll just run relics for a few hours and sit in my dojo on warframe.market.

Trick is to just play passively with some occasional Apollo (Lua) every now and then, and then group up in recruitment chat to run the same relics. Apollo gives an Axi relic every round (small chance of a lens on wave 3+ if you get all demolishers), so it's an easy farm if you got a nuke gun. Managed to sell a few Gauss Prime sets the first few days that way.

The normal Gauss, Acceltra and Akarius however...

Grinding for the original Acceltra is one of my favorite memories in the game. I just really liked disruption with voice comms. I had a group of friends that played at the time and we sat there for hours grinding the game mode screaming at each other when the demolishers were spotted.

A tip for disruption, bring Wukong and wear headphones. His 2 deafens all noise BUT the beeps the demolishers make, you can hunt them down really fast with him.

Acceltra is by far my most used gun in the game, its so good, but the ammo capacity hurts it pretty bad. I dont know how good it still is but I really hope we get a Stalhta prime in the future, thats my second favorite gun and its so much fun to pin enemies to walls with.

In other news I grinded 2 Lichs last night and got my Kuva Nukor (Mag 39%), pretty excited to get it up and running!

No hope of that since only Tenno weapons get Primed, but there an outside chance of a Stahlta Vandal or Tenet Stahlta.
:(
Its a fun gun though, a prime would help its popularity because its a granum grind and fuck that. One of those just farm platinum and buy it from the market items.

I was prepared to spend hours/days grinding for Akarius and Acceltra. First game I joined, I killed 3 demos and got both blueprints. :smug:
