hehehe Wisp ass.

No, but really, what were they thinking with that ability? I guess the same thing as Caliban where they just make super cool abilities that do fucking nothing. What's everyone's go-to replacement for Wisp's 4? I'm currently using Eclipse, but they're changing that thing soon.

I actually keep her 4, but I subsume her 2 for Rhino's Roar for another damage buff. I don't use her 4 all that much, but I use her 2 even less. I primarily just build her strength+duration and turn her into a super buffer with her triple mote she gets from her mod. Most content doesn't have enough damage to overcome the regen buff.

I feel like I'd be a killjoy if I were to complain about the game, judging by the rest of the thread.
Feel free to complain about it. If you really cared about something, you wouldn't be afraid to criticize it, because you know it can be better.

DE really needs to look into older content and bring it up to par. I know they're giving Inaros a minor rework, but they should devote an entire update into fixing much of the older warframes instead of adding shiny new thing and calling it a day.

I’m a gnat’s wing from L4 and shitting on DE used to be favourite pastime.

I don’t follow them enough these days to have much of an opinion although the thread is kinda inspiring me to play again. Maybe.

MR30, I sound very positive on the game because I’m currently having fun after not playing for years.

I love the game, but because I am such a huge fan I have no problem tearing it down because there’s so many fucking problems.

-Old open world reps are a mess
-new player experience is fucking terrible
-community management is bad, chat is a hug box because you don’t want to get banned
-p2p is ass, the game makes money hand over fist they can afford dedicated servers
-balancing is all over the place, there’s frames that are just bad
-timegating
-rail jack and arching are abandoned content
-k drives may as well not exist
-necramechs are only useful in open world
-umbra volt and mag when

I could go on. I think warframe is a fantastic game but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t criticize it. The better a game is the more a fan can nitpick in my opinion. The fact that you got to MR28 means you obviously liked it enough to play for long hours, you have the right to get really petty about game problems.

Correct. They need to take a break from unimaginative new frames and tedious open-world shit and shallow story, and fix some years-old bugs and rework obsolete frames.

I don’t know if you’ve played it yet, but whispers in the walls has been my favorite update of everything I played since returning.

New tileset with whole new faction of enemies, easy rep that you can max with bounties in a week, and the new characters are talking animals that may or may not annoy you but I found them to be a good crew. The rewards are good as well, you can buy lenses with the rep!

Well it's good to know I'm in good company.
I definitely feel that the Whispers in the Wall update has been the best in a very long while, though I do have some issues with how they've moved away from the token system of the necralisk. I know that they've moved away from it for a while now, but it's been at my attention again because I was grinding for another xaku after discovering I didn't have one already helminthed. I've also gotten to the point where I don't really know why I'm farming for shards anymore and then realize that we've hit the World of Warcraft effect of grinding for gear to make gear better to grind for more gear. Maybe I haven't really seen the capabilities of the new shards, but it seems like a fairly large investment just to find out.

Oh and the moderation is shit. I know we've been saying that forever but it still bothers the crap out of me that I get slapped with a lifetime ban for a shitty joke in region (until I pulled a "What I do?" and they reduced to 2 weeks, and no, it wasn't Nezha) and stripped me of the weapon names I've had for years. My Railjack was named Coomerwagen and that's bad, but the devs can have "Cum guzzler" with no issue and everyone laughs. I've been able to avoid the jannies for ages but that shit still pisses me off. I also recall that they banned a streamer for doing an incredibly long survival run and have been refusing to unban him despite it all being on video. If nothing else, it's only fueled my disgust for the Canadians.

While I agree with this, I do appreciate a new faction with their own quirks, even if they don't have the widest spread. What I don't get is DE was bragging about merging an open world with traditional hallways and rooms with the Whispers update but I don't see it. Functionally it's the same as the Zariman: You have a hub and you have missions in hallways. Unless I'm mixing up my updates, that just sounds like engagement bait. Regardless of when it was, there's some very prominent bugs and the shills will forever cry "small indie company" when they've got more money and resources than any one of us can comprehend. I don't know how many issues are because of the engine or issues that stem from early spaghetti code that they're afraid to unravel, but I get the feeling that beside the IP leaking, it's only a matter of time before something else blows.

The TLDR of my complaints is that because I've been keeping up with and playing the updates since Hildryn, I have reached that point where end game is a min-maxing fest and there's nothing really to do but make overpowered weapons and frames even more broken and fundamental issues like changing hosts fucking with the state of the game this far down the line is just inexcusable. I'm sure there's more that irks me, but it's usually those minor things that add up over time.

That whole situation is total horseshit. Guy has to explain game mechanics to the customer support and they still find ways to ban him.

I’ve totally avoided the moderation in game because I just don’t interact in game unless my squad wants to coordinate. I’m also used to Microsoft style moderation now that I’m on Xbox where literally anything can get you banned, so turning off comms is always the safest option.

I hate this shit so much but places like here on the farms are basically the only place I truly feel are “safe spaces” to say what I want.

Sometimes I'm on here so much that I forget most everywhere else is the complete opposite. Since that incident I hardly use the chat except to say "help pls" when I get downed in a netracell because I looked at another monitor for a moment. And speaking of which, the handful of times in my way too much time in the game that I've heard a microphone, it was either some mexican kid getting yelled at by his mom or a black guy on some console echoing back all the explosions and a fucking chirp from the hallway. The social aspect of this game really needs to be grassroots because your average player doesn't really give a fuck about chatting it up after a mission unless you want to share a build. I feel like this and /wfg/ on /vg/ are the only places you can talk about the game without people calling you retarded for not sticking with the meta.

>Rebecca blocks him
>Everyone else ignores him
Good God I knew it was bad but I did not know it was this bad.

That's by far the gayest and most annoying thing about the game. The child sexual groomer, probably tranny devs can put "gemussy" references in the "5 minutes to downtime" announcements in a game played by children, but you can't make a fucking joke about gender-confused Warframes in Region.

Canadians are such weak cuckolds.

Yeah, I've had Region and Q&A off entirely since I got back to the game. It's the best way to protect your account from some faggot reporting you for a meme.

That's why these faggots want to destroy us. If their ideology doesn't control a community's thoughts, that community must be destroyed. I guarantee you every single DE employee would want the KF taken down.

I have everything turned off. Voice comms, all public channels. I have kuva weapons that I don’t dare use in public as they have offensive names that I did not choose.

I also refuse to bother with incarnon weapons unless it’s for MR fodder because fuck you DE and they’re not needed.

I like how they breathe some new life into older weapons with the stat boosts. I'm just happy soma and boltor got some love, even if it wasn't the best.

I'm not really interested in Duviri content at all, but the only reason I'd do it is to incarnon my favorite old school weapon, the Burston Prime.

Definitely. I haven't touched it since I got the stuff I wanted.

I spent about 2 hours downloading the iOS version. For context I have an iphone 15 pro max.

First thing I noticed was it had a really hard time with my orbiter. Low fps, and it would just freeze when I panned the camera.

I decided to just briefly test it out so I queued for ESO. FPS was better here, its definitly playable. My main issue is the controls, I am not someone who plays games on touchscreen so its really awkward. The game auto fires your gun when you hover over an enemy, so no trigger press, and the parkour moves are all separate buttons.

When I get off work I am going to try it with a controller and maybe tone some of the settings down, I cant see this as something I would play on over my console or PC though.
