What the fuck, the paradox doesn't have the new war as a completion requirement???
No, you only need the Uranus junction now. I get wanting them to give players a different start (and giving them easier access to Warframes is nice), but going from that to killing Vor just created a massive whiplash.

I half expected to be dropped on Mercury or Venus after Duviri. Instead, you get greeted with Vor's quest right off the bat. And to add insult to injury... you don't get to keep the gear you chose for your Duviri playthrough.

So you're basically doing two tutorials by going with Duviri. But seeing how DE noticed the whiplash from going from Not-Wonderland to war-torn Hellhole done by the Grineer... it adds up to why they simply got rid of Duviri.

Another thing of note is that accounts that have been made before Duviri being closed to newbs, you get to keep your access. I legit enjoy trying out starts that DE puts out because I like seeing the changes. Right down to making new emails.

I remember in the early days, you are simply dropped in Mercury right after vid related.

Then, they decided that Earth was the way to go and made that scuffed intro on Earth re-enacting the vid. Finally, we arrive to today where they are using the second dream as the proper intro to the game.

Out of all the intros, it works and it makes sense to why Earth is the starting area instead of Mercury or Pluto. Has an open world hub and it gives the players the option to go towards Mercury or outward into Pluto.

The Drifter has a significant role in the latter part of TNW and if he'd just show up out of the blue as a new character it would be weird, I mean he technically just shows up anyway but still. Also the Circuit might be cutting a lot of corners, but it helps a lot with leveling shit if your rolls are lucky and you get a weapon/frame on the rotation that you have but isn't maxed out so it's good for grinding the early MRs.

Is there a guide to figure out where to go after I last played? I think I stopped around 5 years ago and did almost all of Fortuna. I guess look up how to do The New War?

What are you talking about

Second dream isn't the intro to the game and you can't choose to go toward mercury or pluto, you have to go to mercury and venus before you're allowed to venture outwards toward mars.
I might have missed it, but did they ever explain why the Drifter would go back to Duviri if he was able to leave the Void in the New War?
They never even explain how the drifter left the void and found lotus and ordis to begin with.

Go to the console on the left side of your ship's cockpit to look at all the quests, you can see even the unavailable ones and what you need to unlock them.

Got it confused with the Awakening, sorry. Also, I stand corrected.

Completely forgot about that detail.

Had to come back to see the shitshow. Been on and off playing Warframe since 2014.

I have watched incompetent devs chase trends, a fat retard nerf my favourite weapons and then grin as he added a mace that required an ungodly amount of cryotic, I saw the community fall and fall and fall as fetishism and delusion took over, I saw the lore get replaced by Evangelion, I have seen the fall of potential, laboured (grinded) under a star so dark none of you could even imagine.

Plus the new frames are all homos, the pussy generation made digital. Why yes I’m a Grendel main. I enjoy all these retards playing as their waifu frames and I’m just playing as big sexy, I use the fleshy Nurgle skin too.

I don't understand why this game refuses to add a full-auto toggle, it's not like the fucking Akmagnus, Akbolto or Latron primary fire are even good in the first place, and it's not like they're against adding QoL features, you can highlight enemies in bright red for fucks sake.
The only this does is give people who wanna use semi autos Carpal Tunnel.

Is there any reason to using a Titan Extractor over a Distilling Extrctor? The Prime variant is in the aya shop and reading the wiki, the distilling has a higher chance of getting rare materials. I already have the prime distilling extractor.

If you hate yourself, Titan Extractors only take 4 hours instead of 8 so you can deploy them more frequently. I'm not sure if that balances out the decreased drop chance for anything half decent, and probably still wouldn't recommend them if it did.

Charged weapons are worse IMO. They're the "Now you remember you're breathing" of weapons.

why the Drifter would go back to Duviri
Not sure if you mean "go back to" for the events of The Duviri Paradox to occur (which isn't what happens, that quest occurs during TNW, within the timeskip after the first part)
or if you mean going back to it after The Duviri Paradox, which I would imply is for the same reasons in story as in gameplay (gathering equipment from there)
how the drifter left the void
I would imagine the door in Teshin's Cave that leads to the main universe's Zariman's Dormizone probably showed up after the events of The Duviri Paradox; and the Drifter was able to leave the Zariman and make their way to the Origin System by commandeering a Parallax.
