Just completed the second dream.
i am a child/teen? I knew the frames like suits and something must have been controlling them or enabling them, but this wasnt in my bingo card.

Completing the second dream means you can do War Within soon which unlocks the kuva weapons which will be a big power spike. My suggestion too is start tagging along on some eidolon hunts on Cetus so you can get some cores and level up Quills for a better amp.

Raplak (or Klamora) Prism, Phahd Scaffold, and Certus Brace is my endgame amp, but that also need Vox Solaris standing

I'm sure you can guess, but there will be more of an explanation in the future, namrly in The War Within and (eventually) completely spelled out in The New War

The deep lore finally starts. What focus school did you pick?

Zenorik(?) The one to dominate enemies. No idea how to gain focus though
You got a Focus Lens for completing the quest. On the same screen in the mod menu where you equip forma, you can equip the lens there. Normally, a max rank piece of gear will just waste any extra experience you get. With a lens though, that wasted xp instead turns into focus for the school that matches the lens. So basically, put it on a weapon or warframe you use all the time so you can passively earn focus. Then you just go to the chair in the back of the ship to spend your points. Also, look out for the yellow focus bubbles that appear in missions when you have a lens equipped, they massively increase your focus gains for a short time.

Zenurik is the best one starting out because it finally gives you the ability to create warframe energy on demand. Once you have enough focus, buy the Energizing Dash Wellspring ability and you never have to worry about energy again.

A word of warning if you put a lens on a Warframe: make sure it's a frame that can nuke on its own, like Sevagoth or Saryn. It won't get as much experience if it's placed on a support frame like Trinity.

augment next year that also disables giving up a challenge take it or leave it
Oh boy, more bandaid augments. :lossmanjack:

Mirage is also a pretty good choice.

You'll be able to create Liches soon. Before you do that, I highly recommend looking up the system first so you don't accidentally get stranded with a shitty lich like I did my first time. They are very annoying and I would recommend you avoid creating one until you are absolutely sure about it.

The three biggest things are going to be:
  1. How to best use your Requiem mods so you can avoid fighting a Rank 5 Lich
  2. You can fuse four spent Requiem mods to make a random, fresh Requiem mod.
  3. Avoid spawning Liches with anything in the Magnetic or Radiation if you're just leveling up your Weapon Progenitor Bonus.

If you do it right, it shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes.

I would also suggest defaulting to Toxin for most weapons, since it lets you make generally optimal element setups (Viral+Slash, Magnetic+Toxin/Gas, and Corrosive+Heat/Blast).
Electric, Impact, and Radiation are worth avoiding, since Electric plays bad with Viral, Impact is just mid (other than maybe for Hemorrhage on Kraken/Spirex), and Radiation you can just mod with the Sanctum dual-stat set.
Magnetic is good for primers (mostly Nukor but also if for some reason you wanted to make a primer Cycron/Glaxion)
and Heat/Cold fit in with whatever but aren't really ever optimal unless you're trying to keep a weapon's natural element untouched (Glaxion, Cycron, Spirex, Plinx, Envoy are natural heat or cold)

Yep. Keep questing and you'll understand why you are the way you are.

Personally, I prefer Magnetic as a general go-to post-radiation mods since it's easier to mod around and now does increased damage to Overguard.
It's also fairly faction agnostic with it only being reduced against Narmer which is... a non-issue, really.
Toxin is also a good choice, but is really mod dependant and stuff like innate elements can make it really messy.

You can do it now, if you want. It doesn't really spoil anything.

Yes

I really enjoyed it. I can’t say why coz spoilers but I’m female so you’ll know what I’m talking about as soon as you see it.

I loved the circuit til they put the stupid boss in (I play solo like 99% of the time) so I don’t do it anymore. It’s a nice way to get new frames that are arsey to get (think someone mentioned it earlier).

It will, sort of. It probably will also cause the story to make less sense than if you just wait to play it until later. (It didn't come out until after New War, which is quite a while away for you). My opinion is that you should just save it until then. Any loot from duviri you can get now you can still get later.

There was a bit of dialogue in Second Dream about that
  • Ballas: "...I know we are desperate, Executor, but these aren't Dax soldiers. These are golems possessed by devil minds."
  • Hunhow: "No self, no sense, no death. Just a metal puppet, dangling on Tenno strings.

Will they explain the stalker more?
Also warframe has caused me a level of confusion and questioning things that i havent felt since Vanilla Sky(Good movie, recommend it)

But idk if its just me but im enjoying the story of Warframe, atleast what they drip feed me, makes me create this scenarios to explain things only to get bamboozled. The only thing that kills me is the pace, but its other wise enjoyable, hopefully the story wont go to shit.

Your mind is still active in your stasis pod, and your void powers are remotely animating the frame from millions of miles away. In a later quest, you'll find out what the Warframes actually are and how they were created.

Also any recommendations for a good shotguns? I like to get in close as as Volt.
