Everyone complains about bumping into walls with Volt but for fucks sake that's a damn feature with Gauss.
Again I've never had ANYONE complain about the volt speed, even at low levels. I've gotten more complaints (exactly one) about playing vauban when bounce pads were still a thing. If you're bothered by it, just admit it's a skill issue and move on.

Sorry man but ill have to agree. As a Volt(not prime) player i can tell you that i spam the speedboost basically almost always since:
>gives me movement
>more damage
>more melee attack speed
>stacks for passive in case i just want to nuke with 4 or single target with 1.

If you cant control your movement because youre going "too fast and crashing int things" that sounds like a skill issue to me. All that said i do am considerate so if someone in the party tells me that it is affecting their ability to play the game, i will consider lessening the spam so that they wont complain and/or ultimately report me.

I don't even mind when it's something with long, straight lines, like farming Hepit/Ukko. Helene is a tiny box map, trying to get around corners and doors and get sightlines while the Volt is randomly spamming speed is different it throws off the flow you've actually got going. If I want a consistent speed buff, I'll just break out Wisp, if I want to go fast, I'll break out Titania, if I want to go fast and actually nuke well, I'll get Gauss.

You get some utility out of Shock Trooper on his 1 and you can try to keep people's shields up with Capacitance on Discharge. It's not the horrible things you can do with Venom Drop and Toxic Lash on Saryn, but it is some utility. Saryn with a Bubonico should be a warcrime.

If you add the other 3 tauforged red shards and replace catalyzing shields with amar's hatred, you could hit 400% strength before any buffs. (Don't forget to bring Grimoire with vome invocation and run Madurai for sling strength)

Small update just came out, featuring the 1999 demo. To play it, you just go to the right of navigation where the Conclave console used to be. Nothing crazy, just an exterminate mission that rewards you a sword skin when you complete it. The new tileset is pretty cool.

Also if you're not going anywhere "Allies can backflip to remove Speed if they wish to opt-out."

Is 1999 just gonna be cutscenes and scripted sequences like new war? I don't know what to expect out of it. I just want infested liches to mindlessly grind while listening to podcasts and I don't want to play a story mode for 10 hours to get there. I'm sure we won't get a hold forward to slowly walk up a mountain for 3 hours sort of story quest again... Right?

The selfish gauss mains can't comprehend sharing buffs with the team and instead rely on selfishness. Truly the worst and they're not gonna make it. They don't appreciate my 300% melee attack speed.
