When it comes to progenitor elements, the best element is usually the easiest one to build around. Is it easier to build around a single element to make space for a better damage boost? Than go with that.
Also, the main reason to go magnetic for dual elements is that you can easily add 60% Radiation damage to literally any weapon with a single mod that has dual stats.

Kuva Ogris modded for gas can do some actual fucking work with the Rifle Elementalist mod, especially if you use a Faction damage boost like Primed Bane since you're triple dipping on DoTs.

Basically anything with an actual fire rate should have mag because it will absolutely decimate over guard. Beam weapons set up for viral/heat output a crazy amount of damage very quickly and usually enough to strip over guard faster than them being magnetic would. I run my ogris as heat and my tonkor/brahma as toxin for more utility. The only real outliers are stuff you use for specific content like I use a radiation chakkurr with harrow for eidolons or a cold glaxion for the energy orb mod and cold arcane.

The only problem with an actual list is that "best" depends on your use for the weapon. Like do you want a high damage nukor or the best primer nukor? My gas/cold glaxion does less damage than a viral heat, but running it with Frost means that I always have max cold stacks for the mod and full armor strip. Or I ran a toxin hind for a bit for the arcane. Basically if you like a kuva or tenet weapon you're gonna want to max out the progenitor bonus at some point anyway, so you can sorta lock in your builds/progenitor while doing that.

I just want high-damage from the weapons directly. I don't find the primer mechanic fun.

Unless you're doing level cap Disruption, you can easily get by with using your companion as a passive primer.

I also hated priming until I started messing around with some of the "off-meta" weapons and realized how much extra damage it made stuff do, but that list of the progenitor elements is pretty much what you should be doing then.

One of the Zaw names that initially got my account "2032'd" (managed to get my account back, thankfully) was "Trump 2020", so they really don't like politics stuff in their game.
PROTIP: Make sure you send a ticket directly to their ZenDesk since it those usually have a pretty quick reply time. I managed get someone banned for their pet name after they spent the entire mission being a fuckwit.

There is bias, but they do ban all explicit politics. They will protect faggots with their "my identity is not political!!!!!!!", but they will also ban a retard sperging about Trump. Faggotry is pretty much a protected class nowadays.
