After all these years, I'm FINALLY building Glaive Prime.

Wait until you build it, then just keep using a melee influence Xoris because electricity procs go brrrrrr.

I started playing the other day, I have zero idea what I am doing but it’s been pretty fun so far.

Do all the missions on all the planets and do the quests when they pop up. Also the way you "level up" is by making weapons and warframes and using them until they hit rank 30, so it is worth it to farm the assassination missions for the frame parts and have them building in the backround. Once you get to Deimos farm Lephantis until you get the equilibrium mod. That will solve most of your energy issues for a while.

running out of equipment slots early

DE was even so kind as to increase the base number of weapon and warframe slots with 1999 so its less of a problem now. When they give out free warframes/weapons/anniversary stuff it comes with its own slot so you can throw out the item if you already have one and keep the slots. Anniversary is in a few months, so look forward to a few potential free weapon slots.

Spent all my free time playing Warframe since the update and will be rank 5 with the Hex tonight.

Pros:

Atomicycle is cool

Nyx rework is great

Cosmetics are fantastic

New player hub and home is good. Still torn on how I want to decorate.

Bounties are the Cavia system, so very easy to farm and stockpile rep

Above ground tileset is top tier.

Faceoff is extremely fun with a decent group and offers another way to farm pvp rep

Chat system is giving us tons of lore

Cons:

The chat system is so current day. I hate how the drifter talks like a redditor

Questline felt a bit disjointed. I think it needed some more padding.

Basement mall tileset fucking blows. It’s dark and cramped worse than a fucking spaceship.

Buggy, bounties not spawning correct enemies, enemies with extremely high health pools, Faceoff just breaking etc.

Faceoff is a slog with a shit group

Overall I am having a good time. Going to build a summoner Nekros soon once I run out of 1999 content which is coming up.

The Trinity rework is pretty great too. I've been maining her since the update.

My point exactly. They'll bemoan how her ability to provide energy to the team without resorting to Arcane Energize, or how she can insta-revive someone with the reworked Well of Life, not realizing that they're the reasons (especially Rev) she fell off.

Inaros and trinity are both very easy to kill, any frame without some sort of hard immunity to damage may as well be dead in content where builds matter.

With the Ancient Healer/Protector split (and Corrupted Ancients defaulting to Protectors), it'll see more use as the game goes on.

Void is no longer the endgame though so ancient healers aren't nearly as prevelant.

Yeah, she's in 1999... Her and Nyx got reworked because they're two frames featured in 1999. That's the bump in attention.
