Finally hit MR30, at work, on a trackpad (which I would not wish that on anyone). The MR test sucked until I realized I had to press the life support things to progress the test.

Damn good job.
I have been playing on and off since 2013 and I'm only at MR 25, looked up mastery guides to estimate how many warframes/weapons I would need for those last 5 ranks and went "nope"

You shouldn't play the game to get to MR 30. Just enjoy the content and play with new equipment, and you'll get there eventually. Last time I gave a crap about getting to the next MR was 16 which is the highest MR requirement for equipment.

If I played to rank up, it would just feel like an unpaid job.

You're right
Tbh I like to get new equipment (frames, weapons) and unlock stuff; right now am working on the newer syndicates after I found out leveling them up isn't a pain in the dick like release cetus/fortuna.
What I do have a hard time doing is getting to play a different build, tend to stick to one or two frames since I can't be arsed to get all the required stuff for another build... Arcanes, archon shards, mods of gamemodes I have yet to touch, just thinking about it makes me feel overwhelmed but with the addition of arcane dissolution I can just trade syndicate standing for vosfor or do any content that drops arcanes and still make progress for whichever pool of arcanes I need, and thankfully 1999 has a way to get archon shards.
Speaking of shards I am beyond pissed that they removed them from the Kahl shop, that was a massive dick move since leaving shards there wouldn't have affected anything and let people do some "easy" solo content to get them.

They moved the Kahl shard to Bird 3, which is even easier to get (and you get exactly enough standing for it if you run the weekly EDA and Netracells).
I do wish they'd add some incentive (other than the Archon mods to potentially trade for plat) back to Kahl though, it was fun to do the missions once in a while. Maybe Vosfor or something like Acrithis's offerings (potatoes/exilus adapters)?

Archon Continuity sells for a decent amount of plat when fully maxed, since it's basically identical to Primed Continuity in exchange for slightly higher mod space and the bonus corrosive effect.

One day the urge took me and I made every shop and dojo blueprint that I hadn't mastered and I think that brought me from roughly 25 to 28. Then just over the course of several updates and prime resurgences I got it to 30. The last 100k of experience was brutal though. And honestly I was super unoptimal. I haven't even farmed half of the kuva/tenet weapons and there are a lot of dojo weapons that are waiting on the invasion components, so it is 100% doable.

It's been a long and winding road, but I just finished farming my final Kuva/Tenet weapon. I won't be trying to get them all to 60% because I already have a job. So far, most of them have felt really good to use. I've saved Tonkor, Zarr, Envoy, Bramma, and Cycron to level last because I've heard they're all really fun.

New devstream on January 31st. They're gonna go over
  • The technocyte coda system
  • The latest prime (possibly Yareli)
  • A new Night wave
  • Something called the echos of 1999 (probably a small expansion of 1999)

I'm LR3 and I haven't even bothered getting half of the lich weapons yet. I did manage to roll a 60% Kuva Sobek the other day that is doing wonders on my Saryn build. One kill with it and every enemy within 15m of another enemy will start a chain reaction and get completely obliterated. Stupidly OP, but I like seeing a trail of numbers creeping through the map into rooms I haven't even been in yet.

The Cycron is a very comfortable weapon to use as either a primer or clearing weaker foes for things like relic spamming as you don't have to worry about ammo or reloading. The Tonkor is just an absolute delight on Zephyr since she gets an insane crit boost while in the air.

I've been running the Tenet Cycron with magnetic, blast, and secondary enervate and even though it doesn't have the highest crit multiplier it just makes trash mobs evaporate. I haven't run the Kuva Nukor with secondary enervate yet, but I imagine it's nastier.

For a game with so much furniture, it would be nice if we could make our Drifter/Operator/Warframes relax on it. Also, need a better system for Drifterator Arcanes so I'm not running Magus Aggress when I really only use it for like 4 Warframes.

Also, Rebecca saying "what do you think of this meme/dog" is going to live rent free in my head...

"What do you think of this meme?"

They've been doing the Echos thing since Summer 2022 with Echoes of the Zariman. It's basically "here's some more stuff that we held from the last update since we know you degenerates would have burned yourselves out grinding it all".

The latest prime (possibly Yareli)
There's a snake joke in the official forum post, so chances are it's probably Lavos Prime (coming with Cedo Prime and, if I had to guess, Sepulcrum Prime). 2025 is also the Year of the Snake.
Something called the echos of 1999 (probably a small expansion of 1999)
Probably coming with the Technocyte Coda if we're lucky, and usable Scaldra weps if we're extra lucky.

I know Lavos is supposed to be secretly pretty ok. But fuck do I hate playing him. I hope they sand down some of the edges.
Kengineer probably has the best Levos videos, but let me summarise: use him as a tanky block of health that can heal himself, zip around the map, fix resources, and make breathing room while shooting his guns.
