Warframe

Same. I logged in, got bonus, and then left for like 3 weeks now. I uninstalled yesterday because of how boring it's become.
Did this after the 1999 update itself, haven't played since I maxed out The Hex and got with Eleanor. The Coda are kinda cool and right up my alley in terms of theming and gameplay but I still have a backlog of Sisters I need to get rewards from and them and Liches not getting the Coda treatment is disappointing.

I also really don't care for what I've seen of Proto-Nova, I don't subscribe to that brat behavior (I didn't like Quincy either) and having to sort through Proto-Saryns and Frost's divorcee problems sounds like a virtual novel I'm not interested in. I might come back for Spider-Frame and Rusalka if they ever happen.

DE finally admitted that the fucking Legacytes have a double health multiplier.
Every single Tenigger who said it was a "skill issue" needs to be permabanned.
:lossmanjack:
Just do double damage bro it's a skill issue.
And it also turns out Stage Defense Flare wasn't coded to take reduced damage from Blitz Eximus units. God the Coda update's a mess.

Glad I sat this week's ETA out. If DE pushes said hotfix this week I might consider playing it.

It also finally made Dedicants vulnerable to Impact procs as intended, and made some Warframe abilities/augments affect status effect damage.
Only took them 4 fucking months. Now if only the tileset didn't turn into a fucking PowerPoint.
Also, glad that Qorvex is finally allowed to dodge around with his 4 augment.

Warframe was such a nice game i used to play this game like crazy back in 2014. is it still a good game? i tried to come back for some time, but found it a little to much overwhelming.

i went to youtube and found one of my favorite vids from back in the dayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq32a37N-Hg
It's a million games in one, but if you can ignore the community and the parts you don't like, it's still a fun time and the movement is unparalleled.

Yeah, its still a lot of fun. Just ignore community shit, because its all gay anyway. As to the overwhelming, just do the quests from your quest log, as that kinda leads you down the path you need to go for stuff. I mean going that far back you will have plenty to catch up, and you do not have to rush as the game isnt going anywhere, take your time and enjoy the ride.

Agreeing with the previous posters, chasing everything down at once burns you out. Getting the quests done is pretty much the only mandatory and that can be taken at your pace. I would at least recommend looking for a warframe you want to use and getting to where you can farm them.

What have I missed in the nearly two weeks I haven't touched it? A 60% melee I heard but eh.

Gave up Vidya for Lent.

Is DE banning people if they say Temple is a dude (because he clearly is), kinda like they banned people for saying Nezha was a trap?

Echoing other posters. It's also my de-stress game. When I have time to kill I like doing missions and clicking heads of potato people.

Only the subreddit has done that as far as I've seen. For my own sanity I removed region chat from view, so I'm not sure about the situation there.

DE have to sit down and optimize the 1999 content. Mostly, all places in the game run above 100 fps and sometimes above 200 fps, but 1999, even in the main hall, runs at 60 fps, sometimes dropping to 30 fps.

I was getting really bad framerates in the new tilesets, so I disabled the RT settings (volumetric lighting and fog) which seems to have helped me.

While Devstream 187 was mainly about the devs goofing off as advertised, we did get some news on upcoming content:
  • Showcasing the upcoming Kullervo Apostate skin, and some upcoming TennoGen (highlights for me are the Entrati-themed Arca Plasmor skin and Operator/Drifter sunglasses).
  • Our next Nightwave season arrives on May 21st. It features cosmic-themed Raya (insert Elden Ring jokes here) skins for Xaku, Arca Titron, and Parallax, and one augment for the Athodai (stats are placeholders so I won't post them in case they're changed for release).
  • The Galleon of Ghouls Tactical Alert coming on May 2, where Vay Hek enlists your aid in hunting down rogue ghouls. The catch? He forces you to use an Ogris with self-damage, and abilities are supposedly disabled (gameplay footage was on their devbuild so they could avoid the second part). Rewards include the classic Ogris "Box" skin from ye olde days, and components for the new Tak and Lug sword-and-board and the Tonkkatt tonfas (both of which were leaked via apps like Alecaframe).
  • QoL improvements, such as being able to alter your loadouts while at the Deep/Temporal Archimedea screen, better weapon categorizations for searching, and a universal Gemini emote.
  • New stuff from the Arbitrations store, and yet another Dedicant durability nerf.
  • Lastly, the playable 1999 demo is leaving soon, so unless the devs plan on moving the Proto Skana skin to Quincy's shop I recommend you play it ASAP.
The big devstream is 188 at PAX East, so we'll have to wait until then.
