From what I now, she's some Warframe-streaming vtuber who's wrapping up content creation due to "outside forces", presumably from getting doxed.
I thought maybe she's getting deported, but she's apparently Canadian
Would like to know more. It's my first time hearing about her, and I don't really care, but can't help but be curious now that I know that there is something

Any of you niggas playing Soulframe by any chance? Last big update significantly improved combat flow, I've been enjoying it quite a bit.
For alpha it's really impressive, I think it has a ton of potential and unlike many developers, Digital Extremes has the tools and expertise to realize it.

I legitimately forgot that it existed.

It's surprisingly good, I recommend keeping an eye out on it when it goes into open beta at least
Right now it might not have enough content to sink your teeth into, though even then you could kill dozens of hours and enjoy yourself, if it clicks with you that is

I played a bit of it recently, going through some quests and what content there is, all without going too deep into repeated instance delving. I can see a skeleton of an alright game in there but, at least in my eyes, the overarching theme of nature = good; exploitation = bad, feels so cheap it just makes me roll my eyes. It’s a tired trope and DE is so far not presenting it in a new light.
Whatever writing is in here at the moment also doesn’t help. Half of it feels like they’re throwing darts at less-used synonyms to common words in an attempt to keep their tone consistent and elevated, but it ends up sounding ornamental rather than meaningful. Whatever new concepts they've introduced also feel shallow due to this over-ornamentation to everything I'm seeing.
So far the whole thing feels less like a world and more like a thematic sketch. Yes, yes, it's an alpha, but DE has not excuses when they're this big and successful.
Combat and gameplay are so-so, but are manageable. Warframe's been a floaty mess for years, and even if they improved the melee feedback to what it now after criticism of their early showcases flooded in, I don't think it'll evolve further. It'll probably just become flashier as time goes on, and won't offer much depth over Warframe or whatever else Steve is 'inspired' by on any given week.
I honestly expected something far better, not just a tweaked Duviri.
I also think there's not enough particles on my screen 100% of the time. I was promised a Steve-centric experience.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Apologies for the late news post, but I had a busy weekend and I couldn't find a decent summary of Devstream 193 until DE released their own overview.
  • The return of the St. Patrick's day event, complete with the Shamrock color palette (greens, blues, and some pale yellows).
  • TennoCon 2026 will be on July 10-11, and Devstream 194 will be live at PAX East in March 27-28.
  • Warframe's 13th anniversary alerts will start on March 13 (a friday), and this year's cosmetic is the Dex Signa. The weapons earned from these alerts are fine mid-tier stuff, and veterans who already have said weapons can sell the dupes for the weapon slots.
  • The Switch 2 port will launch on March 25. Hopefully Nintenno will get smoother performance this time.
Our second fatframe, the art-themed Follie will arrive on March 25. Naturally the playerbase is divided over the BBW aesthetic, but I prefer her alternate Sfumato Helmet over her default. It looks much better than... whatever the fuck her default helmet's supposed to be.
  • Her stats appear to be fairly balanced (again, she had mods on so we don't have a clear picture of her base stats), though amusingly she has slightly lower-than-average sprint speed. Follie's passive is that all her abilities coat enemies in slowing ink, and if they die with ink on them they have a chance of dropping health or energy orbs (another orb printer, yawn. At least it's a passive).
    • Her first ability is the return of Undertow Forced Perspective, where she dives into an inkpool, cleansing status effects and becoming invulnerable before popping back out in the direction the player aims at. Both entering and exiting the ink will coat nearby enemies.
    • Her second ability is Shadowgraph, where she paints from a selection of paintings that bring their associated objects to reality. Things like exploding barrels (with gas damage instead of blast, damage scaling with something, not sure if her stats or enemy level EDIT: It's enemy level, the devs clarified it in the latest devshort), life support capsules, amphors, defense cryopods (okay, this one's mainly for distracting enemies), and other assorted scribbles. Certain drawings will have cooldowns to balance their effects out, while others can be cast repeatedly as long as Follie has the energy.
      • Shadowgraph will also come with its own emblem creator (behaving similarly to Call of Duty or Armored Core), where you can replace the default drawings with whatever comes to mind using preexisting shapes. This will have no effect on the ability beyond spawning the custom icon on cast, and I expect creativity in art, memes, and slurs (which will be inevitably be reported, so be mindful of what you replace as some paintings/objects are very mission specific).
    • Her third ability is Self-Portrait. Follie draws a inky duplicate that grants her damage reduction (by redirecting any damage she gets towards the dupe), and generates ink around it. Killing enemies in the dupe's AoE will increase its radius, the damage reduction, and the duration of the ability as indicated with the dupe itself growing in size. Self-Portrait can be recast to reposition it.
    • Rounding out her kit is her fourth ability Plein Air, where she suspends enemies with ink balloons. Shooting the balloons will cause enemies to take scaling fall damage, with predictable ink and damage on anyone beneath. As the ability times out the balloons slowly float down to the ground, so any fall damage is reduced accordingly.
  • Her signature rifle is the (legally-distinct-from-Splatoon) Enkaus beam rifle. It's a corrosive, ink-spewing weapon with a crit-focused primary fire, and an alt-fire that insta-kills inked enemies below a certain health threshold.
Unlocking Follie's parts will require you to complete Chains of Harrow, and the mission itself will take you to the remains of the Vesper relay on Venus.
  • Interestingly, the game mode itself will focus on the Arbiters of Hexis, finally giving them some spotlight after Arbitrations were added all those years ago.
  • The game mode itself takes place in a copy of the relay, where you have to locate three paintings and deliver ink to complete them. Two complications: carrying the ink forces you into Operator/Drifter mode until you bring it to a painting, and completing one painting will spawn Follie to track you down, where she's invulnerable and has access to Shadowgraph.
  • Aside from Follie/Enkaus parts, we're probably getting the pity currency (I think it might be labeled "Chromatic Atramentum") completing hunts, where we can bring them to Archon Zorba. He will not only trade parts but also Atragraph mods, basically cosmetic foil skins for select mods.
  • There will be an associated event a week after the update releases: Operation: Atramentum. This may be related to Zorba's Atragraph store.
  • You may find a Security Bypass during Survival missions. These widgets will double the speed of the survival timer without affecting life support decay. However, you have to locate the bypass first (Golden Instinct/Orokin Eye/Shadowgraph is your friend here) and you have to bring it to a specific security terminal.
  • They probably told Glen to shut his trap because Excavators are getting buffs: now they spawn in with some invulnerability and come with shield gating (which can be refreshed with power cells), while their health/shield scaling is getting improved.
  • Some slight incentives for playing with clanmates: playing with a fellow clan member will transfer a portion of earned resources to the clan vault. You also get personal bonus rewards for playing with clan members.
  • Arctic Eximus are getting some nerfs/tweaks: their slowing aura is now limited to their snow globe radius (as opposed to ignoring level geometry and LoS checks) and now it inflicts a cold proc rather than a generic slow (so you can block it with relevant abilities, on top of limiting the number of stacks players can get).
  • Certain old drop tables (Nidus, Sanctuary Onslaught, Equinox, among others) are getting adjustments to be less grindy.
  • You can now fast travel to the Dark Refractory from the Sanctum Anatomica, and you can use the pool to directly access The Perita Rebellion.
  • They further showcased the Gauss Moto skin and the Grendel Turbis skin, along with their associated weapon skins (Acceltra again, and heavy blades respectively). Grendel Turbis is amazing and the heavy blade skin is a pseudo-chainsword. I'm getting that the first chance I get. I'm a consumer whore, and how!
  • New TennoGen stuff, including our first batch of TennoGen signas.
  • New Operator/Drifter faces for customization.
  • Improved mantling animations so they're more fluid than before.
  • New Honoria, such as warframe-specific titles, Syndicate titles, and new quest rewards.
  • The new tiles for The Perita Rebellion were shown off, as well as the formal name of the (allegedly) extra hard mode that we'll have to unlock: "The Guilty". From the UI elements, we might need to face off against all three bosses.
And that's all there is to it.

Oh  man. I know for a fact this ability is going to cause so many headaches in the future.
>having to balance what is essentially a prop spawner from Gmod
>having to police the emblem maker for nono material
>people will see how far they can get away with it without eating a 2035 ban

Mark my words, the usual suspects will use it to spam the tranny flag everywhere, then cry genocide when someone tells them to knock it off.

As for me, I'll do the funniest thing possible and use fatty's second ability to be as obstructive to my team as possible.

I was very underwhelmed by follie. Putting aside the body positivity, I hate the design because its just impossible to even tell what I'm looking at. Probably due to the colors, recoloring mandatory. Also, is just seems like she has a collection of 4 random abilities, nothing really seems to go together. Its supposed to be the fear/ghost frame, but also its a painter, but also a splatoon, but also a clown or something? And the idle animation they keep showing off has nothing to do with any of it. What does balloons have to do with any of it? Because IT? And there's a giant statue ability? Huh? Fear is not a good theme because the enemies can't be afraid of anything, so what are you supposed to do with that? Also the mini photoshop has no actual gameplay changes, so who gives a fuck? I think they were trying to do way too much with 1 character, and none of it really works as well as it should.

Especially funny because of the amount of times I've slaughtered a million dudes with one space magic cast and the babiest level 1 butcher will still attack me.
You can't really do a fear theme when that's in your game and is a common experience. The enemies know the Tenno can be killed, they just also know they're terribly dangerous.

You can already subsume Terrify onto literally everyone. People don't, for the most part, because even with the LoS-ignoring armour strip, enemies running away tends to be bad for your KPM; the problem with fear isn't that it's unprecedented, it's that scared enemies running away is inefficient.

I started playing again along with a couple friends who either just started or picked it up again. Gotta do Hex/Old Peace still.

Still had my couple thousand plat from doing day 1 Prime farming/set trading and Prime mod farming way back, so I went and got mods I didn't have to catch up to meta and the Marie skin for Wisp Prime. Still have tons of plat in my pocket, next is getting an actual bloody amp for Archons.

Beat Hex quest, currently doing KIM and bounties to get the actual ending for it. I honestly kinda like the big change of pace and scenery. Next will be the other smaller things before finally doing Old Peace.

Also hit my first 100mil+ damage. Wisp + Exodia Contagion Zaw so it's a given, just now bothering to get the faction ranks and materials to subsume abilities and put on archon shards to push the damage up even more.

Report rates are certainly going to shoot through the roof, especially considering how many trannies there are in this game. And I predict a lot of people getting banned for commenting on their teammate's faggot flag constantly popping up while playing, you know they can't help themselves.

Lardframe bothers me because it's fat for no reason, unlike Grendel (which I also don't like much as it deviates from the original space ninja concept far too much and is fat). The only people I see reacting positively are BBW fetishists, and that bothers me even more - I want them all to die.

That's why I only ever use it with its augment. It's quite a powerful CC ability, but not really relevant when you could outright kill everything as soon as it pops up in front of you instead. No better crowd control than murder, just ask Iranians.

Don't even bother logging in for this update until they patch the new game mode. It fucking blooooooooooows. It is so ridiculously unfun. Can't see anything because of light levels and bad color scheme + narrow hallways. Forced operator segments where they remove your sling, enemies are literally vantiblack so you can't fucking tell what is hitting you or from where. Staggers and slows on everything. Deimos tendrils are here... Holy fuck it is bad. Follie just spawning on top of you and locking the door so you insta die and lose your paint and have to find more. Actually insane they thought this was okay. Easily the worst thing they havr added in years.

Sounds like the real follie is playing the game lol
