Don't even bother logging in for this update until they patch the new game mode. It fucking blooooooooooows. It is so ridiculously unfun. Can't see anything because of light levels and bad color scheme + narrow hallways. Forced operator segments where they remove your sling, enemies are literally vantiblack so you can't fucking tell what is hitting you or from where. Staggers and slows on everything. Deimos tendrils are here... Holy fuck it is bad. Follie just spawning on top of you and locking the door so you insta die and lose your paint and have to find more. Actually insane they thought this was okay. Easily the worst thing they havr added in years.
The funny part is a couple days ago, Rebecca was in an article stating quote: "It took us 13 years to build even a day of goodwill that we would get today, [...] And it only takes you one day to lose it all." Granted, this update is nowhere near as bad as the initial Railjack launch, but this was such bad timing. At least we know why Follie's so fat: she ate all the gamemode balance.

Probably not helping matters is that, before it was hotfixed, Follie's main BP wasn't even in the hunt drop tables. Keep in mind DE is planning for a Follie-focused event a week later, so if they don't get their shit done quick, resentment's gonna boil over.

On the flipside, they promised some grind reductions, and here's what they gave us (copypasted from the forums because I am lazy at the moment):
  • Reduced the build time on Excalibur, Volt and Mag blueprints from 72 hours to 24 hours.
  • Defeating Tyl Regor now rewards two Equinox Component Blueprints — one guaranteed for the Night and Day Aspect each.
  • Added Nidus’ Blueprints to all Infested Salvage rotations.
    • Now Rotation A and Rotation B also drop his Neuroptics, Systems, and Chassis Blueprints, though Rotation C still has the best odds!
    • Removed the 150 Endo bundle and the following Mods from the mission drop table in the process: Shocking Touch, Deep Freeze, North Wind, Hornet Strike, and Reflex Coil.
  • Added Ivara’s main Blueprint to the Market, and increased her Component Blueprint drop rates to 22.56% from Star Chart Spy Vaults.
    • Increased Ivara Component drop rates to 36% in Railjack Spy Vault droptables.
    • Removed Ivara’s main Blueprint from Spy Vault and Veil Proxima Spy droptables.
      • Also removed Ivara’s Chassis Blueprint from Lua Spy drop tables, increasing the drop chances for Rime Rounds and Scattering Inferno.
    • Spy Vault drop tables were adjusted as follows to compensate for her drop rate changes:
      • Removed Arrow Mutation, Sniper Ammo Mutation, and Shotgun Ammo Mutation from High Tier Spy Vault drop tables.
      • Removed Metal Auger from Medium Tier Spy Vault drop tables.
      • Removed Endo from Railjack Spy Vault drop tables.
  • Added Khora’s main Blueprint to the Market, and added her Component Blueprints to all Sanctuary Onslaught Rotations.
    • Added Synthetic Eidolon Shards to Rotation A to help balance tables.
    • Removed Khora’s Main Blueprint from Sanctuary Onslaught droptables.
  • Added the Braton Vandal and Lato Vandal blueprints and components to all Elite Sanctuary Onslaught Rotations.
    • Moved Peculiar Growth to Rotation B as a rare reward to help balance Sanctuary Onslaught drop tables.
  • Doubled the drop chance of the Korrudo Blueprint from Tusk Thumper Bulls and Domas.
  • Doubled the drop chance of the Akarius Blueprint and Acceltra Blueprint from Demolisher Infested.
  • Added the following items to Necraloid’s Wares in the Necralisk:
    • Arum Spinosa’s Blueprint and Components (available at Clearance: Modus).
    • Sporothrix’s Blueprint and Components (available at Clearance: Odima).
  • Wolf Sledge’s Blueprint and Components now share an even 25% drop chance from the Wolf of Saturn Six.

On the other hand, Gauss & Grendel deluxe bundle is simply amazing. So many versatile cosmetics to play with, not to mention kickass skins themselves.
I had no expectations regarding Follie or Shadogroper shit to begin with, this is probably the first time I'm not in a rush to play new content. Being the first adopter in Warframe always sucked, so I'm definitely waiting this out, if even so many habitual DEcksuckers are up in arms about it.
Maybe later, when it's not a form of torture anymore.

The entire gamemode boils down to being chased by a fat clown while getting relentlessly berated.
I have a suspicion this is someone's extremely specific humiliation fetish.

Such an appropriate user profile to post this

But yes, Warframe has been gradually turning from rule-of-cool space ninja fever dream into a fetishist-pandering homo utopia.

It's because they put an icky girl in charge of things. Male power fantasies brought us all the fun stuff, but Rebb is a dirty fujo and all of her fantasies revolve around watching men kiss.

Anyone wanna buddy up to clear out the Steel Path star chart? I've been putting off clearing it out for too long. I mostly play Mesa Prime and Citrine, and have been really enjoying Nokko, Temple, and Uriel. I'm already building Follie, so it's back to business, working on weeklies and standing and whatnot while I slowly work on my solo dojo.

Thank goodness I was sitting on a small fortune worth of mods and arcanes. Grendel's (and Gauss's. Figured I'd get both) new deluxes are mine.

So, who's ready for Stug Incarnon to be either insanely OP or irredeemably dogshit? Voruna Prime looks neat, too, I guess.

Voruna Prime in question, trailer attached:

This shit is metal as fuck, less faggotry and more of that, please
I like how this trailer implies that in some loops Viktor just straight up dies by the Drifter's hand, only to be revived none the wiser once New Year's rolls over.

Felt really forced and the music choice did not help it a bit. If you're going for "metal" in the most canuck way possible, then at least hire someone with a tinge of techique instead of this one-dimensional flat shit.
I also get that on all levels excepts physical she is a wolf, but having her on all-fours through this entire trailer + that growling and shoulder bumb, or waiting to be sicked by the pompadour, was embarresing to look at.

I don't find that weird at all, she's acting affectionately toward her friend, behaving like a loyal beast.
Being feral is her whole thing. Speaking of which, it was confirmed they'll be adding quadrupedal movement like in the trailer to her ultimate skill, which is something a lot of people wanted (just for style).

like a loyal beast.
That's the Drifter piloting her, though, not the frame by itself. That's why its so comical to me.
Being feral is her whole thing.
Sure, but I'd sooner divine personality from the Noble/Agile idle animation rather than a silly plantigrade all-fours stance.

The animation snapping back and forth when you moved was jarring, so that's neat.
Still, as this'll require you to touch the ground and actually run on it instead of bullet-jumping everywhere like a normal person, you won't get to see it in action often.

Thank god for the new Gauss deluxe chest armor, because it lets me cover up Follie's chest while giving me more room to customize her. Her ink flows are also prone to temporary discolorations with certain ephemera like wirematrix.

I'm surprised I actually have some ideas to make Follie look presentable, but they'll have to wait for the next Nightwave season hopefully adding the Sfumato alt helmet.

During the Devshort, Rebecca pulled up Styanax with his Deluxe skin (complete with it's areolas and golden bulge) while letting it idle animate as she talks about looking into giving Mesa Heirloom an additional toggleable layer on the basis of "the best aesthetic option" is such a power move. Like, she knows the community is full of shit when they cry about Mesa Heirloom being "goonerbait" after Styanax Deluxe released with fucking nipple tassels on his skin. So, while I have my issues with DE and some of their choices, I'm glad that Rebecca is willing to say "we'll think about it, no promises, also it is completely up to me". I understand the issues people have with her, but the fact she's willing to call out critics for being completely full of shit is worth something.

"A sermon on fashion. Gather round children, this is a sermon.

My children, do not throw stones at one another. Let the halls of conversation echo for eternity on Warframe's fashion, but understand that in this kingdom of Warframe the humble garment maker is the mightiest power.

Fashionframe truly is fashion. There are new runways each season. And the humble garment maker preparing runways for the summer season often includes accessories like a cowboy hat. And while the summer 2026 runway brings Mesa Heirloom, it may rain, so we are also doodling optional layers but we are going to see if the manufacturing process allows it.

Any added accessory layers for Mesa Heirloom will be togglable and will be at the sole discretion of the chief fashion officer, Rebecca Ford, on the basis and only the basis of the best aesthetic options for our players.

It is not guaranteed. It is not at all assured. But is possible. And this a discretionary thing, and that is the closing of the sermon. So please, please understand that manufacturing determines everything. And such the sermon comes to a close where you can continue to have the halls echoing with discussion, conjecture, opinion, but the only fact is that it is a discretionary choice if it's possible. Thank you for your time."

Worth nothing that with wide customization Warframe allows, you can probably make Mesa Heirloom look really good even if you don't like the base look much. I would definitely take a trench coat as an option like Vauban's jacket, though. My gripe is the helmet design, I'm conflicted about massive horns.

And it's not that it's sexualized, but rather bland and samey at this point. It gets better once you take a closer look at the concept art, but I can see how people might think it's unimaginative when it's a glowing red ass in your face.

Styanax deluxe skin was designed by the same artist, who is a faggot who started out drawing gay porn btw.

As long as he's able to do decent work on the female frames too, like the Mesa skin coming up, I can live with that. Besides, managing to give Sevagoth of all frames more ass on his Prime variant than Wisp (and almost all of her skins) is almost impressive of an achievement.

That's at least one thing I can give Warframe and DE credit for: they are consistent on allowing 'coomerism' for basically everyone. When almost every other 'major' game for the past few years has tried as hard as it could to make its characters outright uggo, or rip away anything that could be seen as sex appeal (usually only from woman characters to spite straight men, of course), Warframe almost feels like a breath of fresh air. It quite literally doesn't discriminate in that regard.
