If I see that fucking goofy ass "Gyre" skin on the subreddit one more time, I'm going to crash out. Not only does it not fit Gyre, at all, it doesn't fit Warframe's design. It looks like some KoreanMMO slop.
Modifiers will now be categorized with a one-per-category restriction, to mitigate back-to-back(-to-back) combinations that screw over most Warframes (energy-based modifiers were given as an example)
I wonder if they're also consider mission modifiers.
Selecting a Warframe from the parameter pool will now give three points, letting you skip two personal modifiers.
Pablo also posted an image on his Twitter and, if this goes live, means you will have to pick one of the three rolled Warframes in order to get the Purple Box. Enjoy your fucking Limbo/Loki/Qorvex future.

To actually make the loadout parameters more enticing to use, they'll be getting buffs similar to Arbitrations/Archon Hunts. Hopefully they're meaningful buffs rather than the generic Strength/Health/Damage setup, but at least this means you don't have to pray to RNGsus that the Helminth's being generous this week.
It is absolutely going to be the most bare minimum buffs which means additive base stats.
They're aware that they overtuned Sirius's Jade Stars ability, especially as a subsume for AFK builds, so now it's getting a LoS nerf. In exchange, Celestial Clash will trigger additional Heat/Slash damage with a guaranteed proc, depending on which twin took a swing.
Be even better if they at least updated the LoS check to the one they made for Dante, slapped on Excal's 2, and then never used again. :lossmanjack:

This looks horrible. At least people are grilling him over the shift.

If you were already clearing elite archimedia each week, I don't feel like these changes really do much. I was already using whatever the rotation was anyway, except now I will be able to avoid more modifiers. I get why people want to use their own stuff, but the complaints really start to seem like "AAAA this game about COLLECTING things wants me to COLLECT things and then use my COLLECTION I'm losing my mind AAAAAAA". They even made the no gear modifier stop applying to archgun, so its not like your weapon selection mattered anyway. The energy constriction modifier was also not that big a deal, just use manifold bond + archon stretch. But most people wouldn't know about that because they only thing they know how to do is look up META and BROKEN!!11! videos which tell you to use panzer vulpaphyla for everything (which can't run manifold bond well). I wish they had just disabled hildryn from the mode, speficically to filter everyone who can't actually the play the game (basically everyone because this game attracts the most braindead retards in gaming) so I could watch them seethe.

The problem is that it specifically disincentivises collecting things. It's less of a problem with Frames, since most of them can be made useful as opposed to the majority of weapons being MR fodder, but because you're guaranteed to roll at least one thing you own, the actual behaviour it encourages is selling everything you wouldn't want to roll.

I just have not found this to be the case. First of all, if you owned the weapons and instead of min maxing in the most retarded way possible, you could actually mod the fucking things. People cry about getting junk weapons, but seriously? Not 1 of them is usable? Not 1 weapon in the rotation of 9 can be made to kill things at an okay-ish rate? Even though companions and archgun (and their arcanes) aren't random? What is actually happening is that this game is mostly played by people with less than a triple digit iq, so they can't build their way out of a cardboard box. They are basically spiderman trying to keep the suit in whichever movie that was. ("If you are nothing without that torid incarnon then you shouldn't have it").

You can generally scrape something together if you know what you're doing, but I've definitely had weeks with nothing usable, particularly when modifiers are taken into account. With that said, the proposed changes will generally make things easier in that regard, and I don't disagree that most of the community scrabble to share a single brain cell between them, but selling anything you wouldn't be happy to roll (i.e. getting rid of most of your collection in a hoarding game) does remain the most consistent way to turn usually rolling something you want into always doing so.

If they end up forcing you to at least pick a rolled Warframe to get the purple box, than you can expect the following to happen. People are going to Config C, they're going to put in Vigilante Vigor, Fast Deflection, Rolling Guard, and an Augur mod, they're going to take a Incarnon Torid, and "say the line, Bart". At the end of the day, we didn't solve the issue, we just took Bikini Bottom and pushed it somewhere else; instead of fixing the issue where people are doing everything in their power to avoid engaging with system, DE would instead actively reduce choice since you'll be forced to use one of three Warframes to get the loot people want out of the mission.

And that's the fucking issue. It doesn't actually change or fix the problems.

I stopped doing ETA/EDA because I've got all the arcanes I wanted and plenty of shards for all my experiments stockpiled, it's a waste of time. I told myself I won't be playing stuff that feels like a second job, and it freed up time for me to enjoy other things.

Well, there is no solution. Unless they just give up on randomization and let everyone pick Torid without penalty. Because the RNG system fundamentally doesn't work with the game. Why? Because so many weapon suck cock it's unreal. You said in an earlier post:
Enjoy your fucking Limbo/Loki/Qorvex future.
Outside of Limbo being utterly and turbo omegafucked by Overguard killing his control gimmick, the other two choices you listed aren't even bad. Qorvex can do some good work while ignoring bad weapons because he's a caster frame and Loki, despite being extremely boring and lacking in the power department due to his outdated kit, is a great pick for either Circuit or Archimedea because you're very unlikely to die with him under most circumstances as long as you have a decent weapon. But, as I've already established, having to pick a random gun sucks because 9/10 are gonna be mediocre.

I was wondering if I'm the only person who thinks Limbo is shit?

I see some youtubers saying that, Limbo doesn't need a rework and how he's still good, yet they never provide any gameplay footage of his performance, or how he feels miserable to play.

He used to be good, back when the game was slower, but a CC frame like him no longer fits what WF has evolved into. And even back then a lot of players didn't like playing with him because the way banish works makes it a hassle for teammates unless we're talking about max range Cataclysm. If Limbo were to release as a more modern frame, allies would probably be able to hit enemies regardless of which dimension they're in. But the overguard change really did him in, he used to be able to freeze pretty much all enemies besides bosses for the most part. His stats are also balanced around that idea so he's a paper towel defensively.

Really Limbo is the autismo supreme frame. Like I really only see his viability on Mobile Defense or doing Spy shenanigans. Even then the current state he is in was designed for was when I first started Warframe. The game has evolved largely by then and much like Loki he's a relic of the past. As what the rest of us said, that Overguard change did him in for the foreseeable future.

I could see Pablo reviving Loki but Limbo is such a can of worms I don't think they have a viable way of fixing him without reworking a lot of core synergies and effects.

Sure, on their own, Loki and Qorvex aren't bad. But when you stack the random weapons on top of it, you're not going to be having the most fun time.

So, Banshee is going to be getting one of her augments melded into her base ability and it's either going to be Sonic Fracture or Resonance. Resonating Quake is changes her ability to much and Savage Silence is already strong enough at shutting down enemy abilities. Probably more likely to be Sonic Fracture since it'll be easier to create a new augment for that ability compared to Resonance, though pretty much everyone already uses Resonance enough to the point that it might as well be part of her base kit.

Would I like some tweaks to Ember so she's not the third worst fire-based Warframe? Yes
Is it the most important thing in the game right now and worth pushing up the pipeline? No.

Pablo trying to pull the "will people get mad at me" while ignoring why people nearly twisted his head off over Hildryn kind of pissed me off.
While heat inheritance and the lack of consistency when it comes to Condition Overload-type bonuses are retarded spaghetti code mechanics, Pablo being this noncommittal fag who won't acknowledge that he pissed off most people who run EDA/ETAs is even more irritating.

Speaking of, I finally got my Torid Incarnon this week and I just finished my first ever ETA and EDA runs earlier (unrelated, didn't get the Torid for either). Guess I'm in the big boys' club now.

I'll stop procrastinating Descendia, Perita, my Steel Path star chart, and my Archon mods one day.

Changes to Nightwave were listed:
  • Day Trader: Win 3 wagers in a row without letting the enemy score in one match of The Index.
    • Removed the “without letting the enemy score” stipulation.
Thank fucking God.
  • Zariman/Venus/EarthBounty Hunter: Complete x different Bounties on Zariman/Earth/Venus
    • No longer requires different Bounties.
    • Zariman Bounty Hunter: Changed from Weekly to Elite Weekly.
This shit without any kind of tracker was always so annoying.

Also, Biotic Rounds finally returning as a Cred offering. RIP to anyone who bought that shit for like 200p.
