The average Warframe random is incapable of listening to and following instructions as simple as "stand here and kill things". That's the only reason we can't have any meaningful challenge in Warframe.
They are incapable of doing Mirror Defense on Deep Archimedea (tbf that is bullshit on DA sometimes.)

I haven't played Wukong since he got a Prime. Did they make him even more powerful?
You'd be surprised how many nerfs have been aimed at that monkey (and by extension the playerbase) ever since DE gave him Celestial Twin.
Nah, braindead Chinese players would use a slam build with Wukong that basically allowed you to macro it. That said, he's still a solid enough pick. Better position than fucking Baruuk right now.
Baruuk is still good ever since DE let his Serene Storm waves build combo and trigger Tennokai. Sure, Lull crumples once too much overguard comes into play, but that's every crowd control ability post-Scarlet Spear.

A lot of exaulteds became great with the ability to use Acolyte and Tennokai mods. That said, while other Warframes are heavily affected by Overguard, the part that makes it harsh for Baruuk is that it kills his best meter tool. Elude removes the same amount of Restraint regardless of attack which means you want enemies with high attack speed, but Desolate Hands turns enemies into melee which heavily kills their attack speed. Compares that to someone like Uriel who just needs enemies to exist to get his meter.

@Troonos If it's any consolation, pretty much no one is happy with the results of the F&F KIM system. Not even fans of the KIM system are defending this shit. Long story short, what was advertised as a D&D like campaign turned out to be a fucking therapy session for Amir who ends up crashing out by the end of it. There's some headcanon about The Indifference taking hold of him which, I'm going to be real, I don't fucking care what cope people are crafting in their own head to justify this shit. It also doesn't help that, according to people who actually cared about this shit, they talk to you like you're still Rank 1 with everybody which makes no sense considering you have to be Rank 5 with Amir and The Hex. Not even getting into his fucking Shockwave lines which are fucking annoying but that's for another time. If there weren't rewards for this dogshit, I'd have never touched it.

Why does he need therapy? Was he misgendered or something? I'm really glad I haven't reinstalled this faggot game in over a year. Do you have to do this gay shit to progress the game or access gear?

The "justification" is that A) Being trapped in the time loop is taking its toll on some members (Lettie and Eleanor send messages regarding it, not a whole ass tabletop campaign) and B) Amir's the only member of the core Hex with a purely civilian background (Kaya and Flare notwithstanding, Eleanor's covered wars y'know) so he's always felt left out on top of him being less mentally equipped to deal with the loop.

Doesn't change the fact the D&D session was a disappointing nothingburger.

I'm going to be honest, I just skipped pretty much all of it and clicked buttons until it was over. I'm pretty much going off everyone else's reactions because, frankly, I have enough things to worry about IRL that some fictional shitskin having a meltdown isn't worth my attention.
Do you have to do this gay shit to progress the game or access gear?
There's some titles/decor and finishing it unlocks a weekly mission to earn a spectre blueprint. Outside of that, there's Nightwave which has some of the worst weapon augments I've seen for a while.

I wish it was a nothingburger. No, the whole thing is an active regression in the personality of each of the characters while making the street shitting even more unlikable. "Oh, I didn't want to do this but I'm a nerd and I need my nerd cred even though I didn't want to actual-" You brought it up, you fucking Paki! Then you have the Roundtable just sitting around and watching all this happen giving a flat zero fucks. They also apparently just assume we've reset multiple times even if you're like me and haven't reset a single time. Anyway, listening to this worthless prick give empty platitudes about how "you're so heckin' valid" is going to only increase the number of players who mute that shit.

All this ado when you can just listen to music, a podcast, or some other shit while playing the game instead of listening to Niggra Night and Saarmir talk. Any game like this will have repetitive audio which will start breaking once stats like Ability Cast Speed or Fire Rate gets to ridiculous numbers anyway. You can use your eyes to find the Bio-code for that Techrot safe too.

The KiM shit is purely optional and anyone who's played a TTRPG before should have a healthy mistrust of anything billing itself as a D&D campaign which doesn't involve you and a couple other people sitting around a table with character sheets, pencils, and dice. Rebecca steering the ship into a narrative iceberg was visible a long time ago too.

It's really not as the F&F includes ingame rewards. As for the system overall, very much not so.
all of these rewards are locked behind the dating sim:

  • A few story elements (Hex Finale quest completion and Loid/Entrati family reunion)
  • ETA, including the Archon Shard drops
  • 1 Warframe (Temple)
  • 6* weapons (Riot 848, EFV-8 Mars, EFV-5 Jupiter, Purgator 1, Dual Viciss, AX-52)
  • 3 Arcanes (Hot Shot, Universal Fallout, Escapist)
  • Elemental Vices
And while cosmetics are less of an issue here, there's still way too many:

  • 4 decoration shops (Flare, Velimir, Leon, Amir. and technically a 5th if you count Pix displays from Kaya)
  • 2 somachord tones (Amir)
  • 1 shawzin (Lizzie)
  • Lots of Honoria (also encouraging people to "date" every character in the game is morally really weird, but that's for another post)
  • Probably a couple other misc items I forgot

After almost a fucking decade, Rivens are getting two massive changes.
  • First... you can combine stats on your Riven into new stats! The resulting stats are brand new to Riven Mods, unavailable through stat cycling. For example, Cold and Heat would combine to make Blast! You’ll be able to combine using a new resource coming in the Iceblade of Narin update available exclusively in upcoming hard content!

  • Second, a request for Rivens we’ve heard for years - locking a stat! We’ll be adding another, new resource which you can use to lock a stat, preventing it from changing during cycling. This new resource will be available to collect without venturing into hard content, but obtained in larger quantities from upcoming hard content. A lock menu will allow you to select one stat (and only one stat!) to lock on your Riven, and when the Riven is cycled that stat won’t change! When you cycle, it costs an amount of the new resource in addition to Kuva if a stat is locked. Threading the next 3 images below this post as I can only have 1 image per comment.

  • Stat locking will use a new currency, said currency will have multiple ways to earn it, you can only lock one stat at a time, and using it will mean half the usual Kuva roll costs.
For me, the two biggest things are going to be locking in negative rolls and the ability to get proper Gas damage boosts on Riven. I also know some people are going to ask "why can't we lock more than one stat", but we are talking about a radical change to the Riven system.
