Cringy gamedev lingo aside, Pablo has a point. Matchmaking is such a crapshoot for content that requires a brain, plus it'll make even dumbest of gorilla niggers feel entitled to nerfs for the content if they can easily get into groups for it but can't clear it.
Case in point, people not seeing the very obvious circle on the minimap during Netracell missions, and killing enemies when they're both outside.

Plague Star so fucking boring that people will do anything to anything during it. Respect the hustle, though.

Well, the other options are recruit chat and Discord. Warframe Discords that aren't the official one are so fucking cringy and degenerate that being in them for more than 3 days makes me want to ventilate my wrists. Sadly, recruiting chat is no better. Aside from the chat mod R3d P01nt being a sperg who can shut you out over the smallest slight, it's a complete pain in the ass. Just trying to find three people with the same relic during the current Prime Access already takes long enough sometimes. Add another two people onto that with the added requirement of them not being fucking braindead? Good fucking luck.

It's not just players being retarded and can't listen. They're also often selfish and refuse to contribute. Case in point, the current Plague Star event is active and you'll find plenty of stories of players joining and fishing for the entire time. It would be one thing if they joined the bounty with something like a Wisp, dropped some motes on the defence target, and did their fishing during that boring ass slog. But they will spend the entire mission fishing while never contributing anything.

Hey kiwis. I have a question.

I recently download Warframe for mobile (because my PC doesn't have enough space) and played the first few missions. Does anyone have any recommendations on what weapons/Warframes I should get?

What playstyle appeals to you? It's easy enough that you can make most things work, with a handful of exceptions, when it comes to Warframes.
With weapons, the Hek and starting Bo are perennial early-game staples and the Xoris is one of the best "melee" weapons in the game while being given to you pre-potatoed from an early-ish quest, but for the most part you're filling time until you get the huge power spikes from adversary weapons and especially Incarnons (and the Laetum is extremely easy to get once you've progressed the MSQ, but that will be some time away).

My go to for stuff like this is active clan/alliance or people I've added to friends. You're better off building connections with people for these types of activities instead of trying to find a completely random pug every week.

I'm going to be frank: I don't have the time nor energy to "building connections" in a singular game where half the playerbase is functionally retarded. My friend list is a fucking graveyard and I have a solo clan to avoid dealing with being kicked if I decide to stop playing for more than a week. Also, the main appeal of Warframe for me is that a lot of it is srop-in/drop-out where I don't have to worry about commitments; I just click the mission and play it.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what weapons/Warframes I should get?
That's a bit like asking what vehicle someone should recommend. Obviously, each Warframe and weapon has its place and uses. I could be a smart ass and just say "Rhino" (the Honda Civic of Warframe) and be done with it, but I'll give a rundown of some of the ones I use the most and why.
Wisp: General, all-round weapons platform that lets you go fast and turn your brain off
Dante: One of the best support-type Warframes that can be run on a shoestring mod setup.
Kullervo: Melee weapons platform that, like Dante, doesn't need much to run.
Nova: Great for any mission where you want to speed up/slow down enemies
AX-52: You get this during a quest and it's one of the best bullet hose rifles, hip firing with Crux is infinite b00let
Torid Incarn: Pretty much the best AoE clear in the entire game, though you need to Incarn for it
Hek: There's not much to say, it's a shotgun that's able to kill most things when you're starting out
Arca Plasmor: While it has a tenet version, the base version is still perfectly usable in the meantime
Cedo: Even the non-prime version can do some damage
Phantasma: The best status shotgun
Gotva Prime: Bought from Baro when he arrives and he's due to stock it, solid rifle
Grimoire: Quest item and perfectly useable
Kitguns: Sporelacer with the Haymaker grip and Splat loader, with the Kitgun arcane for magazine battery, makes for one of the best AoE guns in the game
Kompressa: If you get Secondary Enervate, this gun becomes completely broken with even just an unranked copy. Just don't add projectile speed, if you do.
Brakk: Secondary shotgun with an upgraded version, however the base version is still solid enough if you happen to get it.
Nukor: Has an upgraded version and broken with Enervate and Blast damage
Akarius: Shoots rockets that do AoE, so be careful of stagger. Do plenty of damage, but can be very ammo hungry.
Xoris: Quest item, thrown melee that bounces between enemies and has infinite combo duration
Vastilok: Kind of cheating as this one's just a glorified armor strip weapon, but still useful for that
Praedos: Probably one of the best utility melees since they let you zip around the map faster, but also do decent enough damage.
Harmony: Made for heavy attack builds given it's passive "compressing" status damage.
Sampotes/Tenet Exac/Vitrica: These all basically do the same thing of sending out waves of damage on ground slam.
That said, I don't use only the listed Warframes and Weapons, but those are the ones I use the most often. Either way, you should be trying everything out since leveling it gives you Mastery.

I don't get it. Maybe because I don't see why everyone loves Harrow so much, so I've barely played him.
Harrow is purpose-built for shield gating, so wasting half your mods to run him with max health to offset a fucking dragon key is beyond retarded, not to mention he won't be getting any of the secondary Archon benefits since none of Harrow's abilities do status damage. Also that nigga didn't even max out Prime Sure Footed.

I really wish I could like him, but he's just so button mashy and I rarely feel the benefit of all that fiddly nature, even with a good mod build. Harrow Prime just collects dust in my inventory.

Like @Day of the Cope said, you typically run super high duration on harrow so your buffs last a good while.

I saw this and now you have to too.

:stress:
Ah yes, health tanking on a frame that is supposed to shield gate and he doesn't even reach the threshold for armor without shoving blue shards or health conversion onto him. Why are we using archon mods when none of his abilities apply it unless the guy is using subsumes? Especially considering Harrow's 3 is an energy flood so Archon Flow is redundant. All you're doing is eating into your opportunity costs.

Between Plague Star, Shockwave, and now Steel Honors, getting a decent amount of Umbral Forma at the moment.

Some big changes to Rivens:

When you combine a stat, the amount of modifiers you have at the time of combining is set. This means if you have two positive stats and 0 negative stats and combine your two positive stats, you'll always have 2 positive modifiers. If you have three positives and one negative, you'll always get three positives and a negative. Another big change is that your combined stat will be locked in regardless of how many times you roll. You can still uncombine the stat if you want to reroll it. So, between the combo stat being locked, the set number of modifiers, and the ability to lock a second stat, it means it'll be way easier to get a roll as you'll only need to roll up to two stats.

Also, lol no
