What about xenos factions make GW writer's lose 30 IQ points? Its been like 4 years since Votann came out, Tyranids has jack shit, Eldar is notoriously fucking awful, t'au is, as always, the redheaded stepchild, and Necrons books fuck so hard but there are only like 3 of them. Are modern writers so cooked they cant come up with story ideas for elves? Fuck, they cant even copy Tolkien properly.
What do you mean? Tyranids were the central to the plot of 10th editions release. Just like Cadia exploding and creating the Great Rift the Tyranids...they uhhhh....there's like a lot more of them. Didn't you read Leviathan?! What about Space Marine 2? It's all about Tyranids if you ignore the majority of the game which has nothing to do with Tyranids.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

Transeldar are now a thing. You can identify as an Eldar and if you do, you're an Eldar. Not all Eldar are Aeldari, bigot!

A lot of people who said lore changes don't matter as long as it upsets the right people in regard to femstodes are now having a nerve to be upset the flavor of their xeno factions is being dissolved to be more 'accessible' and generic. Wraithbone, a fantastical psychoplastic? No, it's just ores and minerals. Uniqueness and quirky details are what make factions and races interesting, along with the mystical; you might as well water down Orks, Tau, etc. to just be humans with green or blue or whichever colored-skin.

Malal isnt the answer to new chaos god. Keep that IP disaster away from 40k. Honestly too much trouble.

Give Tau a chaos god (greater good). They might be gay as shit but Tau have a weird relationship with the warp, other factions and FTL. This would legit fix a lot of plot holes and make them a player at the big boy table. It also wouldnt advance the plot too much, or change too much of the status quo that GW will never do it.

That or shake up the elf pantheon but Ynnari being neutered means thats not happening.

The space marine 2 tranny left after some time. Was it when they split with Embracer group, a publisher known for woke stuff?
Nah. The tranny said they left in September 2022. The Embracer group shit show wasn't in full swing till 2023 when they announced the saudi deal had fallen through a few months prior. It could be they left when the saudi deal collapsed but I doubt that would have been a reason since the layoffs happened later. Saber wasn't sold till 2024 when one of the co-founders bought it back.

OK, but the lead writer on Space Marine II was literally a fucking tranny.

I enjoy it well enough, but let's not pretend it's some font of brotherhood and true, long neglected masculinity, and a bastion against the woke mind virus.
Oh you couldn’t be wronger.

Space Marine II, for all its faults perfectly showed brotherhood, the way we as a species perfected it in the 80s, race means nothing, steroids unify all and we can overcome our differences by killing hordes of tropical birdmen and locust-dinosaurs together.

Titus, Chairon and Gadriel are a blast to the past of better gaming.

Didn't one of the leads over there(I think it was supposedly the CEO) get bitched at on twitter for saying something as simple as going back to just making good games people would have fun with or something. And then the leftist morons who weren't buying the shit in the first place tried to rip him apart and failed? To the point of going to his linkedin, complaining that the company refused to "acknowledge such a controversial statement" etc? Wonderful and pathetic at the same time.

Meanwhile people crying on twitter because they look at tyranids and instantly think "jews being oppressed by white ubermensch"(that definitely happened with the guy who runs ad astra games).

Well me and my homies played SM2 and had the “they’re literally us” moment so that means they nailed the Gears of War vibe.

You should always roundhouse kick your nearest genestealer. I’m looking forward to the SM2 operation where you raid and purge Magus Ypstein’s citadel.

If Js don’t want to be compared to subversive, perverted and repulsive star-spawned horrors then maybe they should stop acting like it.

It's usually not jews complaining about this shit. Same as it's normally not blacks complaining about orcs in D&D constantly being complained about as representing black people(at least no one has bitched about 40k orks being some idiotic allegory for black people yet).

Their souls are already too small for the warp to even have a god
That's the purpose of the auxiliaries. The humans spawning a nascent God of the Greater Good during the Fourth Sphere is years-old fluff at this point.
Whilst Tau themselves are insignificant to the warp, with the amount of humans and xenos races under its influence, its very easy for GW to justify it imo.

Again, this makes them a big boy at the table.
- Event X happens in Y sector. Well Tau MAY have an interest in joining for Z reasons.
- GSC keep fucking up imperial worlds? Now add Tau with their subversive propaganda infiltrating Imperial society to prepare them for a coming Tau fleet.
- Chaos corruption now becomes a possibility opening up new chaos units or even an army (more likely a detachment but you know).

This makes complete sense from a lore, progressing the setting without upsetting the balance and money point of view for GW (again, imo). And I say all of this as someone who has little to no interest in Tau.

Fuckin' Christ, will these losers ever drop this or is it gonna be "Nuh! Muh fee-fee hurt moar guyz!"
Honestly? Has anyone actually encountered anyone who plays custodes and gives a shit about the femstodes garbage in the wild? I've been to a few tournaments since the shit dropped, haven't seen anyone putting female printed heads on their custodes, no one painting pride vexillas, or any of that crap. There was a bunch of people posting videos to youtube and pictures of reddit of their shitty hack jobs because they went out and bought a character or a basic pack of custodian guard but couldn't even play a game of combat patrol with what they've got painted and that's only 8 or 9 models? Hell, are there even any youtube channels that have a focus on custodes that give a shit? I know there's at least a couple channels focused on the faction because I've run across them in the past(after the stupid codex) but they weren't even acknowledging the femstodes shit in the couple videos I watched. It's just grifters, people vaguely adjacent to it on social media, or redditors trying to "own the chuds" or whatever the fuck who seem to care.

I mean… it was enough for me to stop putting together an army of custodes because I liked the lore up to that point. Granted all it took was another combat patrol to finish, but I’ve been very anti GW purchase boycott since.

A bit off topic, but you guys thing GW is pushing Raptors as a chapter?

I had never heard of them until a YouTuber talked about them in the context of the Badab War, and was happy to see them as the focus of a fan film and make a cameo in the Astartes 2 trailer, but "Space Marines as spec ops soldiers" makes complete, non-retarded sense.
