The Lords of Silence and grandpa Vorx will always hold a special place in my heart. Shame that garbage like “Dawn of Fire” keeps getting more books while Vorx and the lads couldn’t get the WB, TS and NL treatment

Helps that this guy that I worked for, who was very much a mentor to my edgy younger self was pretty much Vorx. Kindly old-timer, big dude, bit confused at times, total wolf in sheep’s clothing who’s playing it up to keep management off his back till retirement. He always told me that my temper would mellow out and I’d slow down just like the rest of the guys on our team, just like Vorx said to Dragan.

Still think of him whenever I reread that book.

The Chaos Gods and their sheer love for their favourites is always hilarious, Lord Razordick the Sodomizer of Twenty Worlds will turn into a chaos spawn even though he did nothing wrong, just wasn’t strong enough to handle the gifts.

If I start a Kreig Army, I might as well start 3D printing them if I want more than a kill team.

not really they're pretty affordable when it comes to the overall pricing range you can get good deals on them.
now the really obscure Astra militarum regiments that had limited releases or you have to get specialty made or kit bash those are going to set you back a pretty penny

Chris Wraight. And honestly it's fine because it served as a setup to get the last of the thunder warriors in one spot along with the rest of the traitors that were more of a problem while she got to go live in a dirt hut in Africa with no water and survived there for maybe a week. Basically she was a useful idiot.

God help me I'm eyeballing the new Space Marine Heroes vs Death Guard Heroes KT starter.

If they have it available locally I might just end up getting it. But the FLGS almost definitely still hast he 2004 starter box for 1st edition still laying around collecting dust, not the 2024 one, heh.

The arks of omen plan somehow worked the best out of any of his plans despite being especially scooby doo tier. "Oh yeah, I'm gonna trust this turbo-daemon whose voice sounds like a five nights at freddy's character in his plan to gather a bunch of these completely unrelated items from all corners of the galaxy and then directly assault a first founding Space Marine chapter's home world to build a totally real superweapon from a giga war millions of years ago that I've just now heard about from this same turbo-daemon." and then it completely works and Vashtorr doesn't betray him and they're reliable allies now.

I will forever stand by Ahriman being one of my favorite characters in the setting because not only is he one of the few competent and not insane sorcerers, but he's actually slowly progressing to his goals successfully. I don't remember which book, but I know he cured at least one Rubric Marine of the dust curse fully, even if he lost his memories in the process cause new brain. That and he genuinely cares for his brothers. Not even only in a "I'm the strongest sorcerer, and I proved it way" but he just outright cares for them enough to drop a battle against the Ynnari that he's winning to try and save some of his restored brothers, although failing cause the Eldar need some wins now and then.

Mostly because he's just a ghost rider reference. If they wanted to bring him back, they should have him fused to the bike. Give the bike flesh wheels and musculature. Make him some weird flesh-bike centaur man. That'd be one hell of a model.
