So have there been any major improvements on Dawn of War Definitive Edition? I had a peek when it came out and I wasn't particularly impressed.

The visuals are a little nicer, hud better, but the biggest one for me has been that the big mods, chiefly apocalypse and all its spin offs are able to run much better after the change to 64 bit.

Depends on what you're looking for. You still can't rebind your keys in game, you have to edit the config file. I don't think that's ever being changed. Anything more is mostly going to be bug fixes.

Now how much of that is real rather than pre-rendered? The dreaded "not final quality" has been the bane of many reasonable gaymers, usually means "get ready for a game to not look at all like it did in the trailers." It does say all footage captured in-game but you'd be retarded to not temper yourself.
Don't need it to be as good as the first DoW because it's clear they'll never make a game half as good as Dark Crusade (or any game company making games as good as they were decades ago ffs), but as long as it's at least decent...

Only retards preorder games. If the game ends up like a pile of shit on release then so be it, it won't get purchased.

My point was that the devs at least seem to understand what people want out of a dawn of war game, rather than the shit show that was 3.

Its a mix of my affection for Rogue Trader schtick which includes douchebag thug marines, as well as the angle that the MM are some of the few chapters 100% focused on fighting their war(s) without LARPing as honourable knights or 2cool4school edgelords in some manner of ethnic costume or unga bunga getup, not to mention the unintended implication in their canon appearances that they are near uniquely demonized and denounced for collateral damage shit other chapters do on the regular and to far greater extents. They are basically the ultimate underdog chapter in a canon and meta sense and as such I think they have a whole lot more potential than crybabies like the Lamenters or generic mexicans like the Crimson Fists

2:30 "I know exactly what the fuck I'm talking about" yeah ok sure bud. Shills his own fanfic, and then I guess immediately complains about a bunch of other lore channels for the next 2 hours. This channel is shit and he seems like he's just upset no one watches it because of his ridiculous accent.

Frankly, they all fucking suck in varying ways. People need to stop being illiterate and just go read the shit.

All 40k lore jewtubers, without exception, suck. 40k lore has reached a point where there is a retcon with every new book/codex/lore update, which then get's eaten up by the slop consoomers. They then will spend making hours long videos "explaining" the new lore or make theories about why everyone in the setting is stupid because bad writing can never be a cause of it for some reason.

This, the books may be slop but reading crap is better than reading nothing at all.
 
Not really mad about the UM box as they did other chapters already, was a natural progression.

I really like the idea for giving everyone something unique (except xenos scum)
