Noted, I saw some great suggestions here so I will just try out the spray.
I was thinking of some kind of bronze for the trim, close to what's shown in your image. Probably just going to go with silver though since leadbelcher is already in the set I'm getting.

I find the idea that there's people who bitch about needing to actually paint their shit before playing both absurd and deeply amusing. You'd think having a sick as fuck looking army would be half the point. Isn't that what draws people into this gay hobby in the first place?

That AoS Nurgle stuff coming next week all looks so much better than the DG range. They wisely contained the fat bastard units rather than spreading them across the range.

If you think it's bad in 40k, you should have seen it in warmahordes a few years ago. Seas of gray or maybe primer coated bullshit on 2d terrain, mention painting and people would freak out over needing to take that oppressive tyrannical painting requirement shit back to 40k, you'd see the same guy with the same army for months with primer starting to wear down because they weren't even in-progress painting their shit, it would look like crap eating up space in stores...
I recall more than once instance of having my fully painted army against someone's gray pile of bullshit, having some rando customer say my paint job looked great(I don't think it did, but at least it had color on it), ask what we were playing, etc. look over at the opponent's shit and kind of wrinkle their nose at it, walk off, and then the idiot with the gray mess would just be mumbling and complaining for the rest of the game about being "judged" for painting(this is just at pick up games).
To this day there's people who bitch about the 10 points for being battle ready in 40k and even though it's simple as fuck to do if you really just need to get it done, they'll refuse and cite shit like having a disability, a hand tremor, or that the game shouldn't be about artistic talent, or that they suck at painting and shouldn't be forced to have a badly painted army... and so on. It's fucking ridiculous. Then for a while you had stores and events wanting to ban 3d printed shit because jackasses were taking 3d printed models which looked even worse unpainted because they didn't prime them, and would use different colors of filament or resin for different parts, or just missing parts entirely with cardboard bases cut out of cereal boxes... shit like this.
The drukhari player obviously has some just primed models and simple paint jobs but they've at least put some kind of effort into it. The custodes player might as well have shown up with cardboard standees.

Im thinking of painting up 10 incubi (and maybe a larger Drukhari force) in a Dune scheme, very sardaukar looking.
Citadel Wraithbone / Pro Acryl Bone
Wash in Citadel Skeleton Horde / Seraphim Sepia
Highlight in original?
I tested some Vallejo Gloss Black on 3d printed Reaver helms and it works well. But ive never done b9ne or a dirt white before.

The skeleton horde watered down 50/50 will probably do a better job than the sepia and then just dry brush the base bone color again or highlight as necessary. There's probably some examples of what you're looking for with dark angels deathwing paint schemes.

I have an army of 200 Valhallan ice warriors, a company of leman russ, and a company of other support tanks. I've converted all the characters from the 5th edition codex that I wanted to play to match the army. Games workshop didnt get a cent out of me in thr whole process and won't again after how badly they bungled third edition 30k
I have full access to forgeworld catalouge I used to obsess over as a kid and there's fuck all GW can do to make me want to buy a rogal dorn tank

Man, that shit was tragic. Lorgar convinces Angron to be less of a psycho and more of a bro to his men and gets actual results, then takes him to Nuceria where he remembers a time when he had things to live for and even die for instead of just killing for killing's sake, decides to murder the Nucerians for taking that away from him, saves Lorgar out of a last-minute bro thing, and winds up turning into a daemon prince of Khorne, fucking up the Conqueror with warp fuckery to the point even the awesome guy known as Kharn starts getting freaked out by it all.
Oh, and Erebus knifes Argel Tal because he foresaw the effect on Kharn and his Legion Tal's moderating influences would have, and as the truest servant of the Dark Gods he'd never see Khorne denied one of his greatest champions. I hope Corvus finds a way to use his own warp fuckery to make him suffer endlessly for an eternity and then some.

He made some excuse about accidentally entering in the master category, I think it's more like he had his head up his ass with all of the praise thrown at him for his alphabet paintjob bullshit and thought he was better than he actually is. The reason I say that is because if you change the filter to Standard instead of Master, I don't think he'd have done well there either.
