I always find it fun to read the legal/corporate documents for companies like Games Workshop. It's the tonal shift from talking about the EPIC battles between Darkveil Hammerson's Lightning Infernals and the legions of Corpsebreath, the Sludge Prince to detailed documents about ensuring compliance with a UK Tax Reporting Bill. I just kind of wish that they include their forward facing tone in the investor documents, like saying that "our dutiful accountant-scribes have finished in their holy task of recording this year's financials and by the grace of the God-Emperor and the release of a new edition of Warhammer 40k, our profits have increased by 20% from the previous year".

I might actually get one of these since I plan on getting vultures. How much do you think it will scalp for?

I wouldn't mind just that base so I could put an Eldar on it, but then again, all the Eldar models are like 20 years old and wildly out of scale, so it would look fucked up in comparison.
If you have a 3D printer you could probably find the elder model you want and boost its size by about 10% to match the scale.

Spend $240 at a single time to get a special Sergeant. Jesus fucking christ.

Even Valrak's nopeing out on this one. Which is why I suspect he either didn't sign that NDA, or if he did it was a less restrictive one.

I'm really struggling to see how anyone could justify this, unless you were about to grab some box set already.

It's not even that great a model... you could probably kitbash the guys crawling towards him pretty easily, but the overall pose just isn't wildly dynamic. It's like they were going for the original Doom box art, but didn't really follow through with it.

Also, $240? It's $200 in the UK, still retarded.

Could be worse. It could be an actually cool model. The way I see it. There are a lot of big centerpiece models that have come out recently, so it's just pushing people to get kill rigs, vultures, crocodiles and the dragons that are probably coming soon.

How do AdMech hold up in current edition? I'm not looking for an army that'll wipe the board with anything it faces but I also don't want an army that'll get stomped unless I play a specific list. I'll be playing against randoms in a non-competetive scene so my army doesn't need to be "meta".

I know marines are always a safe choice but I really have my heart set on AdMech.

They’re pretty good but it seems to be leaning towards a more infantry based army in the new book, if you can absorb the cost go for ad mech.

So apparently GW created a shitty NDA and the whistleblower who signed it got doxxed by a man-troon named Nornqueen who then deleted his twitter & facebook account because of the backlash.

Troons man...but what do you expect from mentally ill degenerates who think they are the opposite sex? You can't trust them. Dude asked him to not reveal his name but Norn the troon posted the whole NDA including his name.

Cost is fine and I actually prefer infantry based armies. I did Tau in 6th & 7th and had a bunch of suits, a solid block of fire warriors with a Cadre Fireblade for the extra shot, a block of Kroot for screening and sniper rounds and 2 squads of 5 pathfinders for markerlight shenanigans. I had a devilfish and 2 hammerheads but never used them much.
