Would you be intrested in the world of warhammer 40k being pushed forward in time and seeing resolutions to factions like the tryannids or do you want it frozen in time?
I would like more weird temporary alliances of necessity. The eldar teaming up with the imperials and tau with maybe one or two necrons. Then chaos enslaves and corrupts a bunch of orcs and nids to make things even worse.

Meanwhile the new squat faction is just pissing in everyone's Cheerios.

Probably not practical but I would like some kind of shake up in how the factions view each other.

Look what they've done to my boy.

You mean you don't want the 40K universe to be split in to a bunch of separated warp dimensions connected by the webway because reasons?
I could see them doing timeline fuckery before they do that, since there's already the first hints of time travel in 40k (Ordo Chronos and all that). Or an alt-40k where the map is flipped and the only part of the galaxy not covered in warpshit is the space currently engulfed by the great rift in main 40k.
GW should fire a guy responsible for faces and poses.
I once heard a theory that GW's 3d modelers are paid for shit, but they go to work for GW for two specific reasons: To claim they worked at GW, and to build up a portfolio.

Making a tactical marine squad isn't portfolio work. A primaris lieutenant is. Which is why you constantly see them churning out yet another HQ on Tactical Rock. They don't care about selling them, they care about making something they can show their next employer.

I actually like this model. The previous Lemartes model made him look like a leader, orating the Death Company into combat. This new one makes it look like he is in the depths of the Black Rage. A vampiric mouthplate that gives him almost a snarl. The metal across the chest, arms, and legs drape over him like chains.

He is barely holding back. One moment of hesitation and he will be lost to the Rage.

Well it's either that, or the shitty clear flight stems that always love to break, or you do like Guntkvd said and give them the tactical jump rock so they all look like they're tripping over it.
The old 7th ed assault squad kit came with tactical debris. That kit didn't have them built into the model, and were entirely optional. GW is just being cheap, and lazy.

Lemartes whole thing was that he is mostly in control of himself even while afflicted with the black rage. Death company chaplains are suppose to lead the lost into battle, and direct their fury towards the enemy. If he was barely in control he wouldn't be leading them, he would just be fighting as another member of the death company.

His new helmet just reminds me of this.

Phew I dip in and out and was curious at the BA stuff. I was pretty disappointed. I am glad I am not the only one who thinks these models look like complete ass also is it me or is the battlebox just really shit?

I unironically don’t understand tactical rock hate sometimes. GW bases don’t come with nice hole placements to drill and the models don’t have pegs, the rock provides something to stick the model to at least. I actually got the new assault intercessors too and didn’t really have an issue with them and they are pretty stable.

I actually also don’t see an issue with the new HQs either? The death company seem to be a bigger sin but Idunno I’m not a blood angel fanboy.

It really helps with more frail frames and dainty models. I like using it to come up with how I’m going to base my model.

And the 2023-24 annual results are in. Let's see what impact the femstodes, couple of shit codices, and products everyone complains about have had. Earnings per share up. Operating profit up. Licensing profit up. Revenue up. They're actually proud of a printed magazine making money in what even they admit is an ever increasing digital age. 40 million plastic sprues. Production and warehousing costs are up, but still improved their margin.

They expect to make a warhammer fantasy show or whatever with amazon after the 40k thing.

They know they're going to be making more off of the upcoming video games. and still saw a licensing revenue increase without space marine 2 even out yet.

So much for all the worthless tourist doomposting. With their estimated cost to get the new factory operational at 9 million pounds, even if it goes horrendously overbudget and doubles in cost to 18 million, they've still got plenty of cash on hand that it'll barely make a dent the moment production ramps up and will be fully paid off practically immediately. Their licensing revenue alone more than covers that. Will that be some cost savings to customers? Fuck no lol.
