Damn, those do look nice. And the Black Templar iconography, outside of the shoulderpads, is super subdued. I can't justify the army box but if those legs/torsos become available elsewhere I could justify using some of them for my Blood Ravens.
 
Marshal looks fuckin top notch. All other chapters have been mugged.
 
I'm a very casual SM collector and rarely buy anything new for 40k at this point. I will admit, though, that when I saw that box art and the pilloried skeleton on the backpack, I felt a momentary twinge of temptation.

It’s sadly common for companies to do this and they will often not allow the artists to use the things they’ve drawn for their portfolios when looking for other work.

Are we seriously just going to do whatever to ruin every bit of news now? GW also doesn’t credit codex authors/teams anymore either but apparently that’s done against harassment.
 
This is moral fagging and nothing more. Most people know Mark Gibbons, and if they didn't, they wouldn't get it from that signature. Never heard anyone bitch about "authors credit" before either. So again it's people making themselves look retarded.
 
I wonder how Grimaldus will look since the leak reference the art work before hand.
 
God damn, and I thought Helbrecht was already an angry bastard before this drop. If Grimaldus is anywhere near as good, Templar fans are in for a damn good time.

His current model is already a referance to artwork. So it will either be the same pose or they will mix it up.
