To my knowledge yes. Let true wysiwyg autism begin. Is this the first time the relics of any faction are modeled?
TBH, I'm surprised GW hadn't done this before. To my knowledge yes. Let true wysiwyg autism begin.
You haven't seen the mark 6 bud? What rock you been under.Huh wait are they doing truescale firstborn?
Also I want to point out the knights in space is what makes space marines stand out from the other dudes in power armour.
There are tons of tacticool power armoured and maybe enhanced soldiers.

And now I have to ask what rock have you been living under? The Black Templars have always been hilariously knightly with names like Grimaldus and Mordred, the Templar cross all over the fucking place, and tabards. Need I mention the Crusader squads and the knight-themed Crusader pattern helmet? Oh, and in older editions they even got theI never got a "knight" vibe from the Firstborn Marines, at least not until the more recent of the Primaris releases. That's definitely changing, though.
TBF it's usually basic bitch Ultramarines that gives the whole faction a bad name. Once a chapter gets some models that are actually stylized they can be pretty cool. But the plain smooth chunky ones? No.People who argue marines in general follow a theme are brain dead and should be ignored. Go from black templars, to white scars, to iron hands, to space sharks. It's almost like they have a million chapter for a reason.
It's up to the hobbyist to make their marines. Sure it is easier when the stuff is just made for you, but space marine players cans just get fuckin lazy.TBF it's usually basic bitch Ultramarines that gives the whole faction a bad name. I remember when me and my wife opened the Dark Imperium box. The level of cool between the new primaris and the Death Guard fuckers was night and day. Those DG models are pretty sick, to the point I actually kept them when I sold all my 40k stuff off.
Eh, that's fair. It's an opinion that Ultramarines are basic. As for as making the models, sure. But when you're paying that much and one faction looks insanely more detailed than the other? Yeah, that's where Primaris gets a thumb down from me.It's up to the hobbyist to make their marines. Don't agree with the ultramarine comment because a lot of their exclusive stuff looks good.
The difference is the black templars are for black templars and the plague marines are for plague marines. While a primaris intercessor, assault terminator, marine on bike etc is for every single space marine chapter. It was always the case, tacticals etc etc. If you wanted a more special looking space marine, you always needed to put the work in, or go to a "main" chapter.Eh, that's fair. Now then, these new BT models? I've always wanted to do BT and those guys actually look great.
Those days are coming to an end. See, this is where GW could make some pretty good money if they would embrace printing. Sell stls of stylized bits for their basic models. This would work because well, it already happens. Hence why I have no skin in this game and was using an example from....god how long ago did DI come out?The difference is the black templars are for black templars and the plague marines are for plague marines. They are truescale firstbornI may not have gotten your point. Yes I know of them but how do they relate to the marines being knighty or not? The argument was that old marines had a rather medieval aesthetic.
