I hope the rest of the chosen wargear is revealed soon and that it's not the chaos terminator kit all over again.

New AoS box is Idonepth vs nudist dwarves, only two new miniatures in the box and they're HQs.
Seems standard at this point to only have a couple new models and charge £125 for the privilege of not waiting a couple months.

Well i’ve committed to starting my parade entry but wasn’t able to find any foam board today for the ruins of the building so that will have to wait.

It sucks that GW is doing more of these boxes with maybe one thing that you're supposed to want, but at least those particular HQs don't seem too hard to get with a little conversion magic.

You know GW, people might actually want Vulkite Berzerkers if you'd stop finding creative ways of bundling them and actually made them decent.

On the other hand, holy shit do I want the Auric Flamekeeper. That might be my favorite Dawi miniature since old Astragoth.

The real lottery is getting a box with armies you both play. Although, I suspect they pick the forces based on lack of players of buying into either side.

Cmon Dwarf players hate elves and vice versa on the elf side.

“What? AoS players are bitching now? Ugh, fine. What’s stacked in the warehouse that we can’t move? Who? Fuck it, jam ‘em in a box, commission some art…what? New models? Yeah yeah, whatever. Get two of those.

“Armies nobody likes? Who gives a shit? We’re in the plastic crack business, not the gaming business! Fuck ‘em, they’re paypigs, they’ll bitch and then they’ll buy it.”

Fyreslayers are super good competitive wide but not a lot of people like painting them and I think the Deepkin have their fans.

I actually like both armies. I think most of the new armies in AoS are cool, except for the Lumineth, and maybe the Ossiarch Bonereapers (cool lore, ugly models).

So, new Gravis Captain. Has the same loadout as the Dark Imperium one, except more options -- can do a Chainsword as pictured, as well as a power sword and power fist. I'm glad to see that. Wish there was a Thunder Hammer option. And if we could get a Jumppack on a Primaris Captain we could get a modern Smash Captain, which would be nice.

There's also this guy, if you want your Gravis Captain a more shooty variety. No options at all, though. I want one with Plasma, darnit!

This grav captain has a chain sword option meaning that he can take the teeth of terra, making him a nice thread. Or he gets one extra attack with the chainsword which is an extra guard on top of his power fist attack. The problem before was that the power sword was literally worthless because he has a power fist.

Wow.

New modular Autarch, the modular parts are cross compatible wtih the existing Autarch. 3 head options, 2 torsos (male and female?) and some options they won't talk about yet. Spear or Chainsword, 4 ranged weapons options. Powersword and Fusion pistol on the old one.

New Chaos Chosen kit.

The only thing that's not new is the Forgefiend.
Really wish they were more creative with the warpsmith(it's the techmarine)... but it still looks fine.

The fyre slayers need a lot more then 1 character....the faction is really boring looks wise.

Railguns are now S14 AP-6 D3+6 damage, ignoring invulns and do an additional 3 mortals, guaranteed, if the wound roll is succesful. So you're looking at minimum 10 damage.

T'au players deserve nothing and next edition they should get bullied twice as hard.
Fucking hell! I hope every Tyranid player enjoyed that Army of Renown for all of the several seconds it was good. They need to sack off mortal wounds at this point they really do it’s such a crap gimmick ported from Sigmar that was never needed or wanted.

At this point I'm just waiting for GW to come up with something like super invulns that you can't ever take away for centerpiece models. Maybe 10th edition, maybe...

What's the consensus on "Seasons" of 40K?
Personally, I won't mind it if it keeps an edition fresh while holding off the next edition.
As for the return to Vigilus, I'm probably going to pick up the campaign book as I liked the first two.
