Query: where do y'all get your map resources? This may or may not be for something I'm doing later involving an online game.

There is plenty free online but the ones I've found so far are 2D. GMod may be your best bet for 3D but that's the only game mod I know of.

I'm already doing my best Heretek impression and ripping and kludging ideas for it, up to and including a decent idea for a questline based on creation tables. Hell, I managed to just snag the Lathe World pdf too for maximum funsies. I also stole, err, repurposed one or two interesting encounter tables.

Hence my map requests, since last time I did this I had to basically find blueprints for my ideas (since fuck heavily railroaded plot ideas, players love ditching those and I understand those suck if not managed well) and it got hectic finding new locations that were readable yo.

2D by the way is totes fine, could ya send some links for me to start with? It'd shorten the time and give me some time to do things like craft fun creation tables for when the crew inevitably investigates a space hulk or has to intentionally kill a Gue'vesa planted by the Tau to spread propaganda, things like that.

Painted some stuff, gifts for friends based on characters they play as in RPGS. I still suck at painting btw.

So I realized to my eternal dismay I need to make my maps for the DH games since resources available are actually relatively sparse and/or not that pretty looking.

I started with the subsector map, which was the first time I really played with Paint.net:

The legend key was a bit of a pain to craft, but needed:

Anybody here ever done a Baneblade? If so please tell me I'm not the first person to observe that the sponson elevation/rotation mechanism is so pathetically weak and ill fitting that the only option is to glue it solidly in place in case it spontaneously explodes inside the sponson once mounted and becomes a pig to repair?

This has happened with a couple of my minis. Drill wherever joint has snapped and use appropriately size plastic or brass rod. Make sure most of the rod is inside the lower sponson itself and leave a small amount hanging out the top so when you place the gun it can still rotate.

Got a sigmar event this Saturday at the local Gee Dubs. Army must comprise of 30 models and have at least one hero. Sudden death conditions are determined by whichever side has the smallest wound count since both sides have the same number of models. Players are also restricted to summoning a maximum of fifteen models per game.
Since I'm using lizards I put this list together

Plan is to keep Terradon Riders of the table to prevent them dying in an alpha strike. The three skink units will be kept back along with Kroak providing shooting support. Skink priests will be flying around the table casting celestial rights on all my units. The bastiladon and stegadons will march up the flanks to lock up the heavy cavalry or flyers.
The stegadons can also tear apart horde units with the Sunfire throwers while the Alpha grant re rolls to all skink units. I'm not sure what I'm expecting to face but I'll give a rep on Saturday evening.

That and even if they did recruit females, after the process of becoming a Spess muhreen, they would be indistinguishable from the males and probably have intense gender dysphoria to boot.
