Gotta ask, how big is Necromunda? Where I live and where I game, it's not even a blip on the radar. Nobody asks to play it, people barely have one gang if any.

People seems more interested here in 3d printing titans and titanic Nyds than play a dinky weird un-scaleable killteam-like game.
Not very big around here. More people prefer to either role play or do campaigns with it.

Got some Bloodbowl orcs, they're just about the size of nobz but a bit wider so they'll be perfect bodies for conversions. The nob in the new boyz also looks like he'd make for an easy weirdboy so that's probably gonna be how I get mine.

Just finished the Adeptus Mechanicus books by Rob Sanders, don't recommend. Unlike Abnett's god tier Titanicus or the HH Mechanicum the book felt pointless. I wasn't expecting some earth shattering revalations but it's just two consecutive parts which are sequences of battles (there is literally one character in each book) and shilling the new faction toys. There is no character developemnt or an interesting outlook over the mechanicus as an ideology and how it diverges from the the Imperium.
Also the main driving force around the plot is some anti warp weapon which can horrifically backfire and the book describes it as too dangerous to have around, which is slightly bullshit considering it's shortcoming can be worked around (though I guess on the other hand having the traitor legions use it is insanely dangerous, which is another plot hole).

Lmao everyone in the imperium (except custodes) receives a free Stoic Endurance. This will go swimmingly with Iyanden players.
Can't believe astartes termies are becoming tankier than custodes termies...

This global buff to lots of shit "because they were tanky in the past", but not giving that same buff to custodes sounds hollow.

Cutodes were THE tanky faction. Now with all the stupidly high AP / high dmg on the field, they're so squishy...

One would need to evaluate and weight his choices when fighting a space marine, but now for custodes just plasma spam

>I Run 10 Blightlords and 6 Deathshroud

Custode stuff doesnt hurt me when I set out building them I chose not to go into bike spam instead I went into running 6 Venatari with a 2+ Stormshield and jump packs. Venatari are such an underrated unit its odd how they never get any spotlight.

Yeah I usually find it really hard for anyone to write a good AdMec story or character aside from the ones mentioned because 9 times out of 10 BL writers only seem to write cog boys as an annoying little shit, borderline insane, or both. Which is annoying since I do like the idea and some of the motif of the mechanicum, but it's almost always a chore to read about them, especially when they are side characters in other books.

I finished painting my first mini today. Pretty happy with it considering I don't really know what I'm doing besides watching a few youtube videos. I decided to get the Necron starter kit after finishing The Infinite and the Divine.
