Really? Has no one heard of them?

They're a meme group that creates fake social media posts and news articles in the 40k setting mocking current events. Kinda like the "Orc Lives Matter" shit from a few years back.

Eh. Maybe it's an acquired taste.

I'm glad Landraiders are getting buffed but I fear its not gonna be enough, maybe an extra 2 wounds or so wouldn't be unwarranted. Though the command point drought will also help it survive. No assault ramp still either. Maybe as a WB player just warp-time it to the center of the table and start trying to score Exalt with an icon bearer using the LR's brick silhouette to hide LOS.

Balance update is out.

Highlights are Tyranids and Eldar are reined in, whilst boosting up Necrons wildly.

Practically every Necron unit is Core now, even including the Silent King which surely is a mistake.

Female Space Marines are now forever, explicitly, not-cannon. It would take a very SPECIFIC retcon to undo this at any time in the future. Sigmarxism and Feminist 40k are losing their shit over it, because they've been trying to wedge Female Space Marines into the lore
This would have been the parasites ultimate win, and they've lost because they're unwilling to make their own dudes and be happy in their own sandbox. The only reason they've ever wanted this to be a thing is the same reason they infect every other group - control and a sociopathic glee from shitting on everyone else's sand castle. Just play Sororitas and customize the armor!

Enough obsessing about trannies and show me some fuckin beaks, boys.
What color/paint is that? It looks amazing so far

Does anyone have experience with filling in the nubholes left behind on resin prints from supports? I've gotten much better at preventing them but sometimes seems unavoidable on heavier models. I saw a recipe that's baking soda/superglue but wanted to see if anyone here has an idea.

Tamiya clear blue and green mixed at 7:2

Don't you just love that they removed the plasma pistol for the new Warpsmith when it comes by default with his kit?
Why do GW's departments not talk with each other?

On a related note, I'm kitbashing a techmarine together.
I've set aside a 32mm base, a shoulder pad, power axe, and bolt pistol from the now-OOP Black Templar Upgrade Kit, the gunner techmarine's front torso, shoulder pad, and head from the Rhino/Land Raider kits, MKIII Space Marine legs, and this harness from Anvil Industry (https://ghostarchive.org/archive/IGyM2).
It's going to be pretty unique.

Y'know, cleaning up tabs and I still had the Hearthkyn tab open.

I'm not sold on these female faces, but, I'm also not completely not-sold on them. They have a combination of "female space dwarf" and "let me speak to your manager" which is... actually ok? Normally when I paint skintones I go very faint, but faint Dwarves? Nah. Maybe giving them some scars / eyepatches / bionics / etc would help. (GW still can't paint female faces.)

(Honestly if they were marines I'd be using 100% helmets, but I suspect that's not an option.)

I do absolutely love the fact that the AI Kin fight alongside the Biological Kin. A very nice touch. I think I'll be saving an AI head or two for my HQ choices, as that amuses me.

They've just confirmed they're releasing a standalone kit for the plastic Contemptor with all its weapon options. I was going to be annoyed if they got rid of stuff like the chainfist and the assault cannon.

  • One ultra-posable Contemptor Dreadnought chassis
  • Two heads, one of which can equip an optional helical targeting array
  • Four chestplate styles, with Loyalist and Traitor options
  • Two big old punchy hands, buildable as fists* or chainfists
  • Five different guns to go in those fists
  • Eight different arm-mounted guns, usable on the right or left side
  • A havoc missile launcher
  • Fetching shield and scroll details to smarten up your chassis
It just occurred to me that the Contemptor Dreadnought (as a Venerable Contemptor Dreadnought) is in the Custodes army list. The extra weapon options got 40k rules, right? Did they think to apply them to the Custodes list?

Custodes are locked to fist+combibolter on 1 hand, and an assault cannon or multimelta on the other. But they are currently the best dread in the game stat wise. So whatevs

My interest in Squats went from astronomical to zero when the faces were revealed. If all Squats are clones, I don't know why both genders are present among them in the first place.

OC tech marine donut steal! In all seriousness post pics when done I love seeing kit bashes.

What, your Techmarines still have LEGS? Get on Anvil's level.

Do the heads bother you that much? The male heads look pretty good, but even the female ones are a hesitant 7 / 10 for me. I'm hoping there will be enough choices in order to skip them, but they don't seem to be going for space marine style "Here's 10 helmets and 2 helmet-free options" stuff, which means they can't just be ignored outright.

The Ironkin heads (and Squat Helmets) are simplistic enough that I imagine I'll see a STL of "Dwarven Fishbowls" on one of the sites once they're released, and then I'll just print a batch of 10 and be done with it.

Kinda. Don't hate what I've seen of the range, but don't like it enough to spend hundreds of dollars on it.
