there is some smug custodes neighbour that is teasing about some "invoulnerable" units by some exploit in 10th, but i can figure out what he means by it. when prompted to elaborate he just gets more smug. im preparing to clear him in the upcoming tournament.

All Custodes units except I believe Sisters of Silence have built in 4+ invulnerable saves which means no matter how much AP you have the worse their save can be is 4. Mortal wounds and devastating wounds is a good way to get around saves normally but Custodes also have a 4+ feel no pain against mortal and devastating wounds. Basically roll a dice for each point of damage they take and on 4+ ignore it. So ya their whole thing is very hard to kill but they have so few units if you do manage to kill a couple key units they are fucked. So lethal hits for you means you get to skip the wound step if you get a lethal but they still get their 2+ normal save or 4+ invuln save.

Yeah, I grabbed the Malc Defender a few years ago on Ebay. It's a beauty. I've been looking out for a second one at a reasonable price. Plus this will have all the bits to magetize. Plus the new Mars pattern Russ means I'mma need to work hard to stop my wallet getting raped. This is the first time since I was a kid that I have been genuinely excited for whole wave of releases.

Drama is unfolding in the YouTube 40K scene. Majorkill, the Australian dude bro who has in the past made a video on how other Warhammer channels are dying while his is still increasing in subs See here. Included in this list is Weshammer, a lore channel with 678K subs. Majorkill and Weshammer were previously on friendly terms before this video and had not talked since.
Now Majorkill has dropped a video accusing Weshammer stealing his video ideas, up to titles, art used, and scripts being taken and changed slightly. See here.

I have liked there new releases for the guard in recent years tbh. Also the Malcador lore is badass. Once the standard tank, but phased to PDF services just due to cost and finding the russ. It's very interesting how that works out, and isn't that dissimilar from real life in many cases.

The rogal dorn is... ok to me, basically neutral. I like the Field Ordnance Battery squads quite a bit though.

For me, don't even have a army yet lol, or a 3d printer, so I'd probably snag at least a pack if i go IG. I like the astheitic of towed artillery in general, I'd be remiss if I didn't.
Ad for a future army, it'd probably be arty heavy, some transports, and a few tanks, possibly a superheavy or fighter depending on points. I do like the lightning quite a bit

Weshammer is a tiktokker and worse yet hes one of those guys whos over 30 and trying really hard to appeal to zoomers by dressing himself up like a massive fag. Wouldn't surprise me if hes just lifting from other poeple's vids.
Then again it's 40k lore content. Most the creators are just pulling their info from 1d4chan and lexicanum, there's only a minority of channels that actually read the full books and source material they're making videos on. Everyone who makes lore videos is just a pale imitation of Miniwargamer Dave's primer vids.

I'm assuming he means a Warden unit led by a Shield Captain activiating their once per game 4+++ Feel No Pain, stacking it with the 0CP -1damage stratagem from the captain. Add that onto their already impressive defensive profile and they're a real pain in the ass to shift, at least in that one phase of super tankiness.
Weaknesses of the combo is the Feel No Pain is a single phase once per game, and the -1 damage is 2CP without the Captain's once per round buff. The whole 6 man blob costs 400 points too so it's a significant investment.
I don't know your list so can't advise on exactly how you should do it, but remember that his Feel No Pain has to be activated at the start of the phase. He cannot declare it after you start swinging/shooting. Use this to your advantage by lining up several targets to shoot; if he activates it just let it go to waste and shoot something else, if he doesn't then feel free to blast it down.

I watched the Majorkill vid
he shows a handfull of similar videos but they are absolutely NOT niche interesting ideas they have been content fodder for ages in the 40k community. he doesnt actually go through the contents of the videos and show any similarities so I have to assume the videos themselves aren't really all that similar and for some of them it's probably a case of the fact that there is only one way to explain to people why Primaris were not liked on release. These videos are things like "common misconceptions in 40k", "Why did people hate Primaris?", etc. which are topics that have already been talked about plenty in the community. I don't know how new to 40k Majorkill is but wow.
Majorkill goes full fucking gigafaggot near the end though and says that he's making the video because he likes drama and wants to get one over on Weshammer which makes him come of as a pissbaby whiney bitch. He then declares that none of the 40k community members he interacts with are his friends which is a really tone deaf thing to do in a community as niche and small as this(nigga thinks he's Jim) which just makes him look dumb.
He also tried to claim that adding " | Warhammer 40k Lore" to the end of your video titles was HIS IDEA and that anyone who does the same thing is just ripping him off...

Thanks alot! im not a very seasoned player as i went into it for the painting at first. now i am 3 armies deep into the hobby and still less then 10 wins to my name. none of the other guys of the store seemed to know what he was on about either.
This is stupid, Neither of these guys go into detail from the novels, the first example is the "why did everyone hate primaris" and the image that he complains about in the thumbnail is one of the first results when looking for art for primaris marines. Neither of their videos are even the first result when looking up "hate primaris" on youtube, and other people have made videos on the topic years before either of them. By this point anyone who has at least casually browsed anything about space marines has heard about people hating primaris.
Next example, correcting misconceptions. Doesn't have the same thumbnail or title. Claims no one else has done it... bullshit. "40k misconceptions" as a search and you do get their videos, but then there's one from titan wargaming from 2 months ago when this weshammer video is only a month old. Does the other guy just not count? I'm sure there's other similar videos using different wording in the title. Complains about the ork in weshammer's thumbnail being a topic in his video... as if there aren't misconceptions about ork lore that other people have never pointed out.
Bile vs Cawl. There was literally just a novel released with them on the cover, and it's about them. Why not release a video discussing them? He even acknowledges that the damn book just came out but thinks there had to be other motivation. They're also scientists... "who is smarter" wouldn't be unreasonable to put somewhere in it.
Calls out some video weshammer retitled about space wolves, because he PLANNED to make a video with a similar name? wtf is that worth mentioning?

His video? Abaddon being a clone of Horus. Emperor is ascending to become a chaos god of order or god in general(funny considering the recent siege of terra books). Going to kill space marines and/or primarchs when the crusade ended. Emperor was in stasis at some point. And stupid theory about sanguinius beating horus, and the emp putting him down.
Weshammer's video: Sanguinius killed horus and Emp killed sanguinus. Tyranids running from something bigger. Machine spirits are just AI. Any theory about the 2 missing legions. Peteruabo isn't a demon.
So of the 5 shitty fan theories in each video, only ONE of them is even the same and it's a stupid theory people have gone on about for ages. Majorkill continues to claim it's a rip off without having even compared the two.
Whines about making a video about whether or not dead primarchs can return. As if no one has ever discussed this due to cloning and shit.
Complains about the necron factions explaing video being a rip off of his necron dynasty explained video. Just searching for "necron dynasties" there are videos from... Scholar's Lore, Majorkill, Poorhammer, Weshammer, The Templin Institute, Adeptus Ridiculous, and this isn't factoring in the other general necron lore videos that also cover the major dysnaties and some minor ones.
Complains Weshammer took the concept of the "why does everyone hate" series... hell, what about the outer circle's "what broke the fans?" videos? And apparently "every single" also belongs to majorkill. Yet when I look up "every single warhammer" the first 3 results are Bricky, then a majorkill video, then More Lore, then people reacting to Bricky's videos.
Majorkill then complains that weshammer is piggybacking off of his ideas so he can "beat me to the punchline" what? That just means he did shit first, that's not copying you.
Acknowledges he can't copyright/claim/whatever "why does everyone hate" and proceeds to cry about it. Then whines he gave wes advice and it could have been worth money, and includes a clip of weshammer being grateful for majorkill replying to him. Then bitches that wes can't come up with interesting ideas and feels the need to rip off majorkill. He bitches multiple times about wes putting "warhammer 40k lore" in titles.. maybe to help with SEO? Then majorkill brings up the why are 40k lore channels dying and how that is responsible for a decline on wes' channel and claims wes sent him an angry message about it. Then goes on for over a minute about how no other creators are his friends, and whatever.
Weshammer is a 30 year old dressing like a zoomer faggot. But majorkill is an actual faggot crybaby who can't handle the idea of someone else's channel beating him in subscribers and views, without needing to hire people to draw porn for patreon or constantly make jokes about taking a cock up the ass.
