I don't see the problem with pulling out. I did not get my money back for the little Vader figure from Disney when they shat up Star Wars.

I'm not getting my money back from GW either, and only a retard would have been asking for refunds for toys. They just go to keep Vader company on a shelf.

Nice toys from a better, more civilised age?
The thing is, it should be easy to pull out. Even if you've spent thousands on GW minis, you can always sell them for a profit and move on, but these people won't; just watch and see the next box set sell out like mad.

I need some help from someone who knows the Lore.

I was just sitting here painting on this Iron Warriors dreadnought and I think I might have screwed it up.

Because I think this pattern is a Horus Heresy-era dreadnought? and I am not entirely sure if they had the same chapter icon that I placed on the front right panel, the skull.

(sry about the cursed blank hazard stripes I am still working on him lol)

I also really wanted to put some Chaos stars on him too but I am also not entirely sure that would actually be appropriate. Because they techically weren't chaos yet? I dunno. Can someone who knows the Lore let me know if I screwed this guy up by putting on the transfer decal? And can I take it off if so without having to repaint that whole panel?

Looks like a Leviathan Dreadnought from the Heresy days, so it's fine for the traitor legion to have one. Hell, since the Iron Warriors aren't the most loyal to Chaos you can get by without any Chaos stars too.

Eventually, one purchase of GW minis might cost as much as a 3D Printer, which is when they'll finally feel the pain from people 3D printing their own figurines.
It already does, at least for what some people spend.

I have a fdm printer because I use it for gadgets/terrain. It’s not as good as resin for minis but I don’t have to deal with toxic waste. I have little kids and animals running around. IMO a lot of people aren’t cautious enough with resin printers. I will get one eventually but I’m going to dedicate an entire shed to it.

I’m getting a massive collection of old Warhammer stuff as a mate is doing a clear out. Think it’s mostly Fantasy but I’m chuffed.
That’s one of my favorite aspects of the hobby is buying others collections, especially old books. I like having peoples codices especially if they highlight them.
Get ready for fierce and brave trans marines! These made it into the latest edition of White Dwarf I'm guessing.

It’s not surprising considering the painter is French. They’re well done but it’s kinda embarrassing. My favorite ones are his trans nurglings. It’s quite fitting…

So they're taking the enforcers of what they admit to be an evil, fascist regime full of oppression and superstition, and coloring them in Pride colors to signify that these Marines stand up for the LGBTQ cause.

That's like having a Waffen-SS officer wave a pride flag while marching across the street-according to their standards, no less, since the Left loves to remind the Chuds that the Imperium is basically a satire of fascism.

But I suppose we shouldn't stop them when they make such a move.

Hey mate

this is a leviathan siege dreadnought from the horus heresy range

your transfer is fine, dreadnoughts are less uniform than standard line marines as they tended to be veterans.

As for chaos stars, you can really do whatever the fuck you want, by the time of the siege of terra even the most non chaosified legions were still starting to have cults crop up within their ranks and it seems like your dreadnought isnt mutating so a few chaos stars could indicate he served in action alongside some word bearers for instance?

"The Gate Crushers"

subtle.
He's unironically the best example of a Tourist. He doesn't give a shit about 40k. He barely knows the lore. The entire reason he's here is to fuck with things and force people to kowtow to him and his cult, and once they "win" he'll fuck off. And he's so goddamned pigfucking ignorant that he can't help but openly talk about it.

And Games Workshop gave him a platform in their official advertismag.

Well, he seems to be their model idea of a customer. Acclimates to the new agenda, is a person who comes from the ''right'' group, and shows support for GW's new direction. Are we truly surprised they put him in as an example of what to imitate?

Of course they did. GW was infested with leftism from the start, if 40K's original story was any indication. I'm not even talking about the usual hippie counterculture leftism, but instead, the kind of leftism that had burning, seething hatred for people like Thatcher, Reagan, and other conservatives from religious and military backgrounds.

Sure, the suits were there to temper their leftism, but those guys only care about money, so if Blackrock hands them a check and tells them more will come if they remain on the Left, even those suits would nope out of trying to rein in the pinkos.

im repeating myself, but ill be seeing these staunch leftist anti capitalist "gatecrushers" with great interest when GW pulls a GW once again and fucks over the customer or some slice of the indie/proxy scene, or some random unwrangled writer pulls an "oopsie" like saying Space Marines can only be male like one of the Horus Heresy works or the Rogue Trader vidya

Otherwise, to ebay and the forgeworlds of Chy-Na i go my niggas

Eh, all my stuff is Firstborn marines, and I just assembled them as I thought cool. There is a tactical dual wielding plasma pistols like Cypher. An ASM with a power axe and powerfist. ASM aren't even a thing anymore.

So their resell value would be abysmal.

Ah yes; the days of the "Militant Tendency" and the crazies that the general population called "the Loony Left" ( (c) The Sun 1982) like Bernie Grant, Diane Abbot (still going and just as much of a 'tard) and the newt molesting Ken Livingstone. Funny thing is, the general population largely reviled and ridiculed the hard left agenda. The "biting satire" of settings like the 40K story failed to have any political impact as people instead embraced and revelled in the ability to role play as "space fascists" and GW itself never rejected the evil profit motivation. Of course that agenda's wider impact of making the Labour Party unelectable did allow for the rise of Tony Blair who does seem to regard himself as the God Emperor so as an agenda of destruction and chaos, it did have that success.

This is from Sigmarxism, so it's kind of shooting fish in a barrel, but this is so cringeworthy I thought I had to share it with you Kiwis.

Headcanon for how each Primarch would react to you coming out as trans.

I think the standout for me is Alpharius and Omegon congratulating you on your ability to blend in with any given population. Because, y'know, nobody can ever tell. Also, Russ using the word 'lad' which I choose to interpret as him deliberately misgendering 'Alice'.

The issue is simple even if 40k originally started as parody its both the fault of GW and the fans treating it more seriously over the time. GW wants the imperium being the poster boys but hates the baggage of having to deal with actual Imperium fanboys. GW sunk into this hole themselves and want to get out of it due to the fact they made a fanbase of highly reactionary autists.

Gulliman would update the registry of insane people.
