The Kickstarter got completed back in August of 2022, long before Trench Crusade got the level of attention it has now. Also this Kickstarter it's only for a limited set of miniatures, you can check them out in their Stretch Goals section of the description.
It was fascinating to see a fight over an IP in real time. First TC is advertised and people like it. Then the usual crowd shit and cry that people they don't like are interested. Then the purges and fighting starts. Grifters on both sides arrive to make money and clout off the fighting. Discords shut down, both sides claim victory and anyone who just wanted to find a new game gets alienated because they don't want to get involved in a fight over a fucking game.
Not sure how you're getting that from ditching bags. A lot of places either won't provide or charge for bags due to local/state/country laws now.
Can't have that. Even back when Anita Sarkeesian started her grifting with video games people were saying shit like "not every game needs to be political, leave politics out, etc" and yet we had people on both sides jumping on board to screech about shit because they see money to be made.
It seems for some fucking reason he's posting judge dredd shit after not doing so for almost a year? I doubt he'll want to do much about trench crusade unless it blows up a hell of a lot larger. The current topic to be outraged over is now the latest ubisoft asssassin's creed bullshit. At this point TC from a player perspective might as well be dead. The community is already a dumpster fire and the only real attention it's gotten in the past few months has been over the latest bullshit which won't attract anything other than people looking to start a problem from both sides. It was already basically entering the market on hard mode by not being something for retailers to carry or bother wanting to support in stores, so the only marketing they were going to get in the first place was word of mouth. OPR has been around for years now, and still hardly anyone bothers with it, and the reasons for that are pretty obvious to anyone who actually goes outside and might stand a chance of finding someone to get a game in.
It’s funny how resistant they are to bolt action, including its scifi alternate wwii (Konflixt 47) which is loads of fun. IMO arch and a lot of people just want to whine and participate in drama, they don’t want solutions. (I have a mixture of US, UK, and German minis, I will probably get to the Soviets eventually).

There’s not much room to create narratives in WW2. Oh sure there’s interesting battles and all that but overall my WW2 itch is scratched with enough video games and movies there’s hardly anything I want from the tabletop. Only thing I’d want out of Konflict 47 is to plop down an SS army as guard and see how long until I’d get kicked out of the 40k game.
Useless knowledge I know: Newgrounds got sued by Hasbro (iirc) about 15 years ago for hosting a flash game that had copied game rules from a board game. The judge ultimately decided that copying game rules was not infringement. Not sure why I remember that.
