As AOS player I don't get why coomers are attracted to 40k and want to change it when Age of Sigmar and its over the top setting take on WHF (which i like) exist.. The creators have been almost entirely silent, which shows they either support Chudhammer or are smart enough to avoid the entire mess. The turbo-faggots are the 28 magazine guys, who wormed their way into community management.
It's not that they're all coomers, it's primarily a bunch of people that just want to invade the popular thing. It was the same thing with D&D, nothing was stopping anyone from reading a couple books and getting into D&D before 5th edition. But when the rules became so fucking dumbed down that the occasional single digit addition was the only thing needed, they decided to jump on board. As far as the coomers in 40k specifically, a lot of them 3d print shit or have someone do it for them. I've run across multiple people with SoB armies, where they've replaced the heads with catgirl anime waifu heads, third party necron models with titties(that one is just a giant wtf to me, it's a robot skeleton... skeletons don't have boobs), etc. but those people actually want to play 40k and not AoS(and there's a variety of reasons people don't want to play AoS, but that's an entirely different subject).
