That sounds great, the ones I can get here are just simple tiles that don't really like the paint at all, even the basecoat spray fails to get them properly.

Just search Amazon/ebay/whatever for 'plasticard'. You can buy sheets of it that are patterned, textured, whatever. They produce things like I beams, pipes, bags of rivets, all sorts.
 
I use 0.8mm sheet mainly but for orky builds it's handy to have a selection of sizes from 0.6 to 1.2mm.

Only £345 actually lol, two squads of boyz come with the squigglies, only picked them up this weekend and i've been fixing up big trevor with reinforcing dowels on all joints since i picked them up, gonna be a great centrepiece for my snakebited though! :)

That's a pretty great conversion, I really like it. Lazkannon madness with a giant zapp gun to boot. Or is that a traktor weapon? Some tanks will definately get wrecked.

It's a big zzzappa, fires d3 str 4+d6 ap1(?) shots, i bring it along when i expect to see terminators as it can fire up to 6 ap2 str 5+ shots in a single turn and carry a squad of boyz along too.
 
@Caddchef. Looks tasty as fuck dude. Good n' dirty the way I like to see minis. I'm going to be investing in some weathering powders after Christmas so I can cake my tanks in thick grot and mud and make them look like they've REALLY been through the mill. I want my Baneblade to look like it's been picked up and dropped in a slurry pit then sprayed with seawater and left in a damp reliquary for a few hundred years.

Do you guys think they are going to pull a Warhammer Fantasy in 40k? It IS the "Time of Ending" in the Imperium, I know the main reason they don't do this now is because of money, but lets say a decade into the future or whatever, do you think Chaos is going to consume the galaxy and win? Or will it be the Tyranids?

Will humanity fight off the hordes of heretics and xenos until the primarchs return and start a new eternal golden age where humanity rules until they crusade into a different galaxy?

They've already started rolling out 40k Primarchs, IE Magnus The Red. They'll bring back the Primarchs, rebirth the Emperor and he'll bitchslap some of the stupid out of the Imperium as a whole and give GW an excuse to make 40k versions of all the awesome weapons that are 'lost' or 'heretical'. Bare in mind the Big E LOATHES religion of any kind so if he wakes up and finds himself being worshiped as a god he's gonna be pissed. Also if you want cheap minis buy crap painted ones off ebay and dunk them in Dettol disinfectant for a day or two to take the paint off.

I kinda hope that somehow they keep the grimdark Imperial Creed. Maybe 110 centuries in the warp have shown the Emperor that he had been colossally wrong about it, and he manages to grow a pair and accept his godly duty.

Maybe they'll use it as an excuse for another massive civil war.

They could, but a LOT of factions would need to be gone.
-Ministorum and as such, their priests.
-Sisters of Battle.
-Grey Knights.
-Inquisition.

Plus

-Some Astartes chapters, like the Black Templars.
-Half of the Guard and the Navy.
-Maybe some Admech.

I think it would cut into their sales, but we all know GW is dumb, I mean, they did it with Fantasy. They may roll all custodes/Gk/other marines into Spessh Marynes, with armour made out of Emperorium and rename Earth as Emperoron or Emperorworld.

A 40K without Sisters of Battle is too grim, too dark.

That was my thinking. People far away from Terra not believing the Emperor is back and thinking treachery is afoot when they get the order to dissolve. Basically like the plot of Emperor text to speech. I'm sure plenty people in power wouldn't like him coming back to straighten shit out.
