>freaking out about a black space marine
It's not that big of a deal. Unless if you're a race obsessed sperg, you'll barely notice.

Speaking of spergs, cross playing with Play Station users has been a miserable experience. High ping, loud, and retarded.
The hobby tourists finally chime in go a away and go watch that one guy who looks like he chugs Soylent for every single meal as well as other men's come out of his wife's ***.

I was more bothered by him being 1:1 the Phobos lieutenant model

Phobos is unbecoming of a company captain, let alone the second company. It’s baby armor
In a way it's kind of justified if he was an Infiltrator just standing at the bridge with all of his comms gear. But it's not like every captain actually leads from the frontlines, right?

So how do you increase armor? I'm afraid I missed something since those two bars vanish instantly. Also I can't understand how you to knock out weak enemies for easy armor restore since charge R1 usually kills them.

As for the game itself, it's fun enough and it does give you the "oh shit" feeling of tyrannids without being too hard. But the two side characters are so fucking bland, I'd rather have two Leandros.

It's that time of the year where 40k enters the mainstream and every insufferable midwit shows up to give their irrelevant opinion on it.
It fun because it separates the tourist with just enough knowledge from the true lore spergs every time it happens.

Personally from watching let’s plays I want guard gameplay vidya. Hopefully SM2 doesn’t pull a Helldivers 2 and endlessly kill it’s players base via constant balance updates.

Parry small enemies to do the gun shot which also boosts armor. There are also armor boost pickups but they are one time use. If your in the single player they give you a ton of items.

What's everyone's favorite class? I've been playing Assault whenever I get the chance. Wiping an entire wave with one hammer swing is satisfying.

Heavy is dog shit.

nignogs in space marine 2 is absolutely pushing an agenda and anything else is a cope. today its battle brother donquavious, tomorrow its chapter master black asian gay tranny in a wheelchair.
I don't know. Maybe yes, maybe not. In the book "Traitor" they mention that the Ultramarines and World Eaters are the legions (I think the only ones) with the greatest skin diversity because they come from different planets, the other legions have a dominant tone depending on the conditions of their planet, (that was what I understood)

Parry and dodge to get executions or gun strikes to regain armor mid fight since armor regen is slow as all hell (Careful about doing gun strikes mid fight as you don't get invulnerability like you would with executions and can be staggered out of the animation) play around your class if you play as vanguard or sniper avoid the adds and focus the warriors as when you kill tyranid warriors nearby gaunts will die or be staggered for a long time if you are playing heavy or tactical focus wave clearing then on the bigger ones after you kill the gaunts swarming you. TBH just read class perks and do the trials of what each class does and you pick up pretty quickly what each class was made for I.E vanguard is a single target melee machine since most of it's perks are about using the grapple and being better in dueling and heavy is the best AOE marine with its three choices of weapons and iron halo.

I can't drive the tanks in this game therefore it's not good why can't I drive the tanks why don't I have a warlord Titan that I can drive around why is every single one of these games end with the chaos being the bad guys why can't the tyranids be the bad guys.
Seriously every single game doesn't need to end with and the bad guys are actually chaos didn't see that coming.

There's nothing wrong with the game the main enemies just being orcs other subhuman xenos chaos doesn't need to be an absolutely everything.

>Brother Donquavious
It’s funny because plenty of 40k names are nearly indistinguishable from what I’d call “Ghetto-Gothic” due to all the Latin/Greek affixes.

Is it weird I'm more bothered by an Ultramarine having a Scottish accent then the odd African/Asian? They should be Space Rome so minorities aren't that far off, but Scottish accent are Space Furries thing.
Agreed. I know he's Primaris, but having Scotty McScotsman around definitely took me out of it. And the Space Wolves are Vikings, not Scots. The Chapter of Scotsmen is the Storm Wardens, complete with giant-ass swords and Dougie McIsaac, caber throw champion.

My notion is that Warhammer is at it's best when it's about grubby German serfs, wrestling in the mud with goblins, over the last rotten turnip in the field, as unknowable inhuman forces rub their hands in the backdrop.
Swap out all the nouns with sci-fi ones, and it applies to 40k too;

>40k is at it's best when it's about grubby Necromundan penal labourers wrestling in the factory runoff with gretchin, over the last stale corpse-starch wafer in the disused arcology, as unknowable inhuman forces rub their hands in the backdrop.

Also, might be a minority opinion, but Ian Miller > John Blanche

Finally got to fight Thousand Sons CSM and... they're surprising easy even on Angel of Death. Just find a decent cover that blocks 90% of their shot while you popping their heads, melee them when you have the chance because they can be easily staggered with a chainsword and up, parry when they teleport to kick you until primed for execution. Tzeench demons are also easy barring the ones with shields but other than that, a much welcomed break from Neurothrope bullshits.
>Chairon, a black SM chimps out mid mission
What did they mean by this?

I feel like the one thing missing from SM2 is a kickass soundtrack in the vein of Darktide/Vermintide. From what I've played it seems to be just generic orchestral "epic" music, it doesn't really take a lot of risks with crazy synths, organs, melodies and dying fax machines like Darktide does.
Jesper Kyd should be on retainer at GW for all games.
