It makes you wonder how there wasn't any exploration of Marines supplementing their campaigns with Chapter Serfs en masse. Is there a codex constraint to how many people and what kind of people Space Marines are allowed to swear to serfdom under them? I know Chapter Serfs are failed candidates from their recruitment worlds or people they drag along to crew their monasteries or ships. I can imagine some shenanigans where some Chapters just swear billions of people into Chapter serfdom and treat them like their own personal Imperial Guard. The only reference I remember of Marines ruling people like that is Badab, so they probably get slapped down hard if they float the idea.
The serfs who are failed aspirants seem to be handwaved by them having fucky wucky issues. Some Space Marine chapters work closely with guard regiments and PDF, The Crimson Fists worked closely with their planet's Militia, and when Baal got fucked the BAs were bros to the Guard and PDF

Ok, so one thing ot remember is that marines arent us, they arent seeking all the time for ways to dodge the codex, even chapters that ignore the codex like the Space Wolves arent 24/7 keeping track of marine numbers or trying to find how far they can get without anyone noticing.

Serfs rarely go to battle because, they arent needed, or are more valuable outside of battle. What use is to throw your 200 serfs into the enemy when they will be cut down by tyranids, since unlike the guard they dont got tanks or artilery for support? Put these 200 guys to keep the ship floating, keep the guns from breaking and they are worthy a hundred times their number.

The Ultramar Auxilia doesnt go around with every Ultramarine ship, they remain on Ultramar because they arent made for long campaigns in the void. If you need serfs in battle, you need good weapons for them, the Mentor Legion got it, but they are explicitly basically a way of the High Lords to test how much advanced a chapter can be.

Failed aspirants should also be the minority on the Serfs anyway, 99% are just generational slaves who are there since the chapter started.

TLDR: Majorkill gets pissed someone uses ai to make low effort content that’s on par with him. Gets pissed ai does better than him.
What a fucking baby. All he does is summarize shit from wiki articles and GW books, acting like he's doing the world some great service. Bitches about the art, mentions he pays artists to make art, but HE has done so much for the world regarding 40k art or some shit, yes what a fucking philanthropist.

Also complains about an AI channel using a female voice instead of his shitty, while removing the unnecessary swearing and gay shit from his scripts, and already getting up to 10k subs. This should be a sign that maybe the mainstream general audience isn't interested in your cringe bullshit.

Basically dude is angry because his channel has fallen way off from just a couple years ago when tons of people jumped into 40k due to being bored with covid lockdowns and shit, and the recent boost he's gotten in subscribers and views is due to SM2 which won't last forever, when he was on a downward trend prior to the launch of the game.

If Majorkill could cheat and get away with it he would do it %100

Thank god I play Eldar and thus I can skip the whole "female space marines/femstodes" rigmarole.
I play Necron and Tau while my wife plays Tyranid so we don't have to worry about any of that crap. Though she's thinking about playing Orks because she thinks the whole colour thing is funny.
90% of these wiki reader faggots could be replaced with AI and the space would improve.
You can really say that about any of these fandom channels nowadays.

Basically this. The only "service" they're providing is being in the background for people doing something where they can't just read a wiki page themselves. Once some of the mispronunciations get resolved, it won't matter if it's an AI or some faggot in australia reading it into a microphone. Maybe some people would rather hear a woman that doesn't sound like she's about to do a voiceover for an outback steakhouse commercial and tell me about a blooming onion immediately after talking about a space marine taking it up the ass.

This kind of reminds me something from years ago. Destiny was a FPS game that after almost a decade of development had the story ripped out at the last minute. Most of the lore was put in plain text of "cards" on the official website. Thus there was a cottage industry of people making lore videos, basically collating cards on a theme and reading or summarizing them. What matters here is that the sequel had the story in the game itself. This made lore channels mad because some had made a career reading Destiny cards and now the sequel was going to rob them of that.

Lol. I've watched a little of every big 40k YouTuber at this point and I use to think WesHammer was the most cringe but MajorKill takes the cake.
What are the worthwhile 40k YouTubers?

There's a few I've found that are okay, but one thing I notice is that YouTube really like to push Uncle Adam/Tabletop Minions, and Midwinter Minis, both of which are dumb for their takes (Adam threw a tantrum because he was called a tourist, Midwinter Minis for saying that playing World War 2 games makes you a nazi.). I'm guessing they're favoured by the algorithm because they push the political correct narrative while generally being inoffensive.

Majorfaggot, more like. It's always the people who have nothing to offer that freakout the most about AI.

Speaking of, member that David Attenborough 40K channel? I really liked that one. Sir David talking about goofy Ork shit or detailing the horrors of The Warp was just too good. Pretty sure the dude who ran the channel had to stop with David's voice because he started trying to monetize it :story:

the only acceptable
PancreasNoWork
he's actually one of the better youtubers because he doesn't inject his low IQ political beliefs but keep in mind he's a dirty elf lover subhuman knife ear sympathizers will be cleansed in holy fire

midwinter minis is a faggot for far more than just that, and tabletop minions frankly I'm tired of hearing about One Page Rules or some other random thing that'll be dead in a week because he doesn't like playing with more than 5 models at a time anymore. Fortunately there's a pretty good number out there for batreps, covering the history of the game and company itself rather than just lore, and so on.

Majorfaggot bitched about that too.

Personally Arbiter Ian is the best for me because he actually show up his source on screen and is reading the books while making the video instead of just copying and pasting lexicanum.

His meta videos on the evolution of the lore are also great.

No sign of Lucius, the character the Heresy just forgot.
Lucius? Like from harry potter?

How many shit flinging videos has Majorkill made in total? Recrntly its been this AI channel that could easily replace him, and one on Weshammer for "copying" him. (Read: having a couple vaguely similar videos over the course of like 6 months, all of whom were rather generic anyway). I really wont be surprised if this peepee poopoo faggot doesnt tank his own YT channel by being known as a shit flinger against creators that people like more.

My favorite one is Pete the Wargamer. Don't know if he has any controversies, just love watching him kitbash stuff.

Lucius the obnoxious fuck from the Emperor's Children.

He did make a video about Arch a while back that wasn't really shit flinging, but talking about why people didn't like him(and ignored Arch's retarded accent). Other than that it's just been him pointing out that some other channels exist and some he considers good or whatever. There was anothert one about how many warhammer related youtube channels have come up a few years ago.He did also make a video talking about the david attenborough channel a year or so ago as well, but I don't know what he talked about regarding it other than he looked like a smug faggot in the thumbnail. Other than that he just claimed lore channels were "dying" because views dropped because the lockdowns had ended, people played some 40k, realized it wasn't for them, and moved on.

He seems to have forgotten the only reason he got as popular as he did, was due to people sitting around with nothing to fucking do so they heard about 40k and his shit blew up. His shit flinging failed him with weshammer, and while I agree that the channel he's flinging shit at this time sounds like it might be AI it'd be hilarious if it turned out not to be and the woman doing the voice over just didn't know how other people pronounced "tyranids".
