They need a seperate codex at this point. They should be able to access 2/3 of Drukhari and all Aeldari except a few leaders.

With that roster, you could craft rules, points and detachments that are balanced independent of the other two codexes. Give them a real identity. But that wont happen, because it depends on GW advancing the story.
As much as I love the Aeldari, easily my favorite xenos, GW seems pretty set on making the whole race more compact with cutting down the Ynnari and no Harlequin codex. At least the Harlequin's got two detachments this edition. Maybe they'll get some new models or at least a rerelease of the older ones, but I won't hold my breath.

I don't remember where I saw it, but for some hopium, someone suggested the new fulgrim book might see him wielding the final croneblade so that it's back in realspace and not permanently out of reach. One can dream for some non-Chaos-victory story advancement.

Finished my Deff Dread. Luv me speed paints, simple as.

I know purple's da sneaky color, but does black mean?

According to 4chan its from Horus and the Justaerin fucking them up so hard on Ullanor that it caused the entire ork meta-psyche to associate black with being the 'ardest of the ded 'ard.

I heard that speculation, but with the checkermarks in black and white being a Luna Wolves reference.

Been doing some work on my slaaneshi Chaos Knight secondary army. The armor plates are 3D printed.

Slaanesh is displeased. The plasma cannon needs to be a dragon dildo.
ACKSHUALY it's a volkite combustor.

+ devastating wounds, this thing will probably ruin your day. Can't use them as Hazardous though, unlike plasma weapons.

My name's Guy and you're watching Midwinter Minis.

I've just been reminded of yet another thing that Guy from Midwinter Minis does, which really irritates me every time he does it. It's a stupid little thing, but it bothers me more than it should. He has a habit of ending his sentences with 'huh?', as if to elicit agreement in the viewer. "Not bad, huh? Looks pretty cool, huh?"

I don't know if that's something they do on Paedophile Island, where he was born, like a regional quirk or something, but it sounds completely fake and affected and unnatural spoken aloud by an obvious Britbonger. That's how Yankoids speak.

I bet this'd be good to run with Emperor's Children in the future so you can potentially get double army mileage out of some of these. I've considered Chaos Knights myself to run alongside a Vashtorr army of Iron Warriors or if GW ever mans up and gives the people what they want (40k Dark Mechanicum).

Also, a question. I found a great condition, pre-assembled, pre-painted Knight Castellan on Ebay for $115. This seems like a good deal and I can slap an Inquisitorial bit or two for my purposes, but I want opinions on if it's better than buying a fresh Castellan.

I secured my preorders for the updated aspect warriors and phoenix lords including the new spider elf. I guess this is going to be a surprise only to GW that everything barring the meme codex book, the cards and the reboxes is sold out everywhere. I feel like such a consoomer but bear in mind, we craftworld players have been waiting since the 1990s for updates on these models.

From what I saw, if you can find stores or websites in Australia/New Zealand, they aren't sold out there for anyone who still wants to get some of these.

Hard to say without being able to see it myself. I guess the worth depends on what you want out of it. Some people wouldn't be interested because putting the model together and painting it is the point of the hobby. Maybe you're like me and just want a good enough model that works in your games. Normally I would say someone who has a very expensive model in good condition and painted competently would be able to charge more than MSRP for it considering the work that went into it. But it's not unheard of for people to undersell minis they just want to get rid of or need some cash fast.

I'd say, as long as you don't feel like you'll need to do any extensive work on the model it's a steal. The hard work is done for you, and GW doesn't get any extra money. Just check seller feedback and watch they aren't scamming you on shipping cost.

From what I'm seeing, it's someone desperately trying to offload a half-finished Imperial Knights army so that explains the price. I'll hopefully pick it up since it's on auction for a few more days. Damn thing's even got magnetized shoulder weapons. I appreciate the advice since I'm still pretty new to the wargame half of Warhammer.

As for the painting and putting stuff together, I'm quite miserly with my hobbies, being a broke college student and all, so, despite being really into Warhammer and quite enjoying putting models together and what little painting I did before the Pharaoh's curse (rubric marine trim) stopped me, I find it hard to get into that part of the hobby with the relatively huge upfront cost compared to other stuff I do. In fact, I would say that putting models together was one of the most fun things I've done in a long time. I wonder if I could find someone who likes painting and not putting models together to do some labor trade with or at least not outrageous painting prices.
