I don't know about other stores, but at least one I worked in they threw everything into a box like it was a free for all. No warnings or anything on the carton it was a regular cardboard box that was palletized with everything else and hauled in a regular trailer. Those boxes were probably tossed around and dropped a few times before it ever reached a shelf, let alone your home.

I got Fulgrim in today, resisting the urge to sculpt a plum in the free hand.

Please update us as to how much of a cunt he is to paint.

Im terrified of getting him because i can only do the basic shit and Fulgrim needs the skill to make full use of his sculpt (which is fantastic)

I love the look of the beast snaggas, I'm always teetering on the edge of buying a box. If I start playing again I'll go Orkz, at least when I used to play it was usually a fun game against Ork players.

Some of their detachments are very fun and do def give that OG Ork feel. Though, so far the weakest Id say is the SpeedFreaks one, mostly because most upgrades are meh, save for Trukk Boyz one.

I'm very much waiting on Fulgrim until I feel like I'm ready to tackle him. Besides which I've got a whole EC army to paint and a Krieg box I've only half-assembled, so it's not like I'm hurting for projects right now. Definitely need to up my glazing game, based on the article they did in White Dwarf.

Well thankfully the model is built to encourage sub-assemblies, the whip arm is gonna be a problem and I’m honestly debating making a wire whip to replace it.

Painting is gonna be easier because I’m actually not going flashy with Fulgrim, I’m building up the base to be covered in gold skulls, trophies and helmets, to convey the excess that I’m not gonna put into the paintjob. A proper Scrooge Mcduck money pit.

I rewatched the Gary Oldman Dracula awhile back and Fulgrim has quoted the novel and his new model is a traditionally handsome character with a withered and monsterous form, those together got me thinking.

I know the gay vaguely-italian vampires and the edgy boys have a monopoly on the vampire motif but Fulgrim embodies the vampire more than either, plus he literally has fangs now.

Fulgrim hates his sons and outright considers them unworthy of himself in the new book and I kinda like the idea of him blatantly looking out of place amongst his legion, looking down on their gaudy desire to be unique and perfect.

I expect lingo to change and develop with every generation. Everyone has it but if it's organic it's because it's some reference to a meme or pop culture that at least points to an origin. Shit like this is a complete rejection of the English language, coming up with new phrasing for ones we already have just so they can do anything but speak plain English. If say I was a foreign power and wanted to fuck a country's future that's one way I'd do it. Convince the youth to refuse to even speak their own language properly so that any authority figure can't even communicate with them. Crashing out to me sounds like someone coming down from a high, or how glazing someone used to mean jacking off on their face. I don't know if this is intentional to go 'hehe I bet we can make them say something really gay', or if it's just coincidence. It's bad enough I have to tolerate foreigners who wont learn to speak English I certainly give no leniency to Americans who wont. I don't care if they're kids. The beatings will continue until grammar improves.
 
liber xenologis It's more of a reference book written in universe but it is a really cool book which is basically just all of the different subspecies of humans a few alien species came out in 2021 twenty one but GW has never released a digital copy of it even though everyone wants a digital copy because GW is allergic to giving people what they want

When I first heard it, I was told it was a YouTuber word for suicide since phrases like "suicide", "self delete", and "unalive" were flagged, but then I saw it used to describe things like the post so now I have no idea.

Then there's zoomer language like "Rizz" which I don't think I've ever heard a zoomer use sincerely. 40 year old millennials, yes. Though I don't talk to zoomers so I'm not the most reliable there.

"rizz" at least has a root in "charisma". Also a lot of this crap is more gen alpha or whatever the hell they're called now, that became trendy on tiktok and then seems to have migrated up into some zoomers on youtube. You see it come up with millenials sometimes like TheQuartering trying to sound hip and cool or whatever the fuck, but it just comes off as laughably stupid.

If you really want to hurt your brain, there's more recent shit like "aura" and "aura farming" you can go look up on urban dictionary.

I got a zoomie coworker and he’s a funny kid but will just drop shit like that like it’s nothing.

“Bro, you’re aura farming with those glasses bro.”

Or

“Imma get my goon on tonight.”

This has to be how the “Firstborn” felt meeting the Primaris “reinforcements.”
