If only we could get a half decent upgrade sprue. I cannot believe that GW, in attempting to genericify Space Marines to make them more customizeable, FUCKED UP THEIR CUSTOMIZATION. Holy shit the BA upgrade sprue that came with the combat patrol only had 5 standard intercessor shoulder pads. Fucking 5? Are you on CRACK. And no other foundings? No flesh tearers, no lamenters, no angels vermillion, fucking nothing. Genuinely psychosis inducing decisions.

My money’s on the Agressors and Inceptors getting the wave 1 Stormcast treatment, they’re ugly, any marine wearing them is probably insulin resistant and GW is just straight-up squatting aircraft and anything on the old flying bases. Those will be the first Primaris things sunsetted, mark my words.

I’m obviously very very biased here as a Smurfs player, but I quite like the new models. Also very excited that they don’t appear to be the only stuff UM have coming, based off the last paragraph of the announcement.
Hope we see Phobos sunset too. I quite like regular Mk X tho, especially now that we see units like the SW or sternguard which have design elements from older marks mixed in.
I hope so. I like the role that Gravis fills in the army (up armored marines with bigger guns but not as expensive or rare as termies or cents), but GW has never been able to make them look quite right. Maybe taking design cues from blade guards or something? Idk.

Allegedly this Andy Smillie idiot was a GW employee who got fired for beating someone up at the office. Which prompted some other employee to make a meme out of it using the new Marneus Calgar model due to the power fists(I guess) for an internal group chat, which someone then leaked.

HH as a full story is so unnecessary. I like the series and story but I look back and wonder why was this written other than sales? It’s completely unnecessary and the stagnation of 40K would be better off without full explanation.

The Gravis armor looks wierdly cool to me but i would agree wholeheartedly that it replacing Termies was a bad move and the flying squads look beyond silly even for 40k standards

The weird thing is that whole “carapace encompassing armor” thing the Gravis shit tries to do is cool. It’s just the execution is piss, the fliers look like Buzz Lightyear and have helicopter feet and the Aggressors look like GI Joe suits, Bladeguard are Gravis in name only and the Eradicators/Heavy but not too heavy bolter guys are clearly just a cashgrab/pushing the three man elite idea on SM guys first.
I will always remember the lead up to Shadowspear and old Jess doing an interview, the joy and passion he visibly had for the new CSM was infectious. His tone changed immediately when he discussed the Phobos slop. Hideous, HH showed you can do tacticool marines and not shove em into a half-assed Crysis suit.

I'm just getting back into 40k and one thing that immediately stood out to me is the amount of tranny shit in Reddit 40k communities, when did all of this shit start?
I've not paid much attention to 40K in like 20 years and back then it was the domain of unwashed neckbeards like the lord intended.

I actually think Aggressors look pretty cool. Maybe I'm just a sucker for more Daka, and I like double bolter fists. Gravis in general though honestly doesn't look any different from regular Space Marine armor. The only difference I can really note is a more pronounced collar and hood. It's the kind of thing that if you didn't tell me it was supposed to be a different category of armor I wouldn't even know. I think it could serve a purpose, but it should stick to being a platform for heavy weaponry. Aggressors have the right idea. Stick a bunch of guns on this guy which might otherwise need a fixed position, so that it can move on the battlefield.
Like all entertainment industries Trannies latch on to anything that has a minor semblance of popularity. I really think trannies treat hobbies like a stock exchange. They invest in up and coming properties so they can pretend to be "veterans" and try to act like they have some authority. They have no real investment or interest other than to bully chuds out of it and gay it up. Warhammer has been steadily gaining popularity for years and it had a few major leaps forward hitting the mainstream. Space Marine 2 was very popular for a while. It's making appearances on television with the Amazon special, South Park, and even Henry Cavill expressing his love for Custodes in interviews. Covid was probably the best thing to happen for Warhammer years ago, when people stayed in doors and had little else to do but paint minis. Creative hobbies usually attract faggots, not because they are creative people, but they desperately wish they were. It ends up being another excuse to paint Rainbow Marines, and tranny Terminids. Even better if it's a boys club. Their cult demands the destruction of anything masculine and heterosexual.

Honestly, do not use reddit as a metric for trannies in the community. I live in a libshit major city and I rarely ever see trannies, even at major events. The reason why they cluster on reddit is because they are so socially inept that they can only survive on groomcord and preddit, rarely playing games and if anything only ever autistically painting minis. As much as reddit wants you to think that 40k is le hekkin chud free 100% tranny safe space, it really isin't, yet at least. This kinda reminds me of this meme lol.
Also, for context, I used to mod r/horusgalaxy (a sub so hated by trannies they got reddit admins to nuke it and now fear to usher its name) which before its banning had 30k members, and was described as "the hub for neo nazi warhammer fans". Considering we grew 30k in roughly a year does show that reddit may not entirely correct that their conquest of warhammer still has some way to go at least.

Sorry if late. A video appeared on my recommends with a title like "trench crusade plastic kits" only to turn out to be an unedited panel someone filmed on their phone. Didn't watch it, but the comments were a mess. Complaining about "I'm not allowed to play this game" and tranies raging about bigots and arch.
I don't know if related, but Wargames Atlantic just anounced a Trench Crusade proxy kit.
At 32mm and GW level price, I doubt this would work as a guard proxy, but that mech could work as something. Not sure what.
I like some of the gravis stuff, but the prices are eye watering. Also, there seems to be this idea that going for heavy infantry is an Imperial Fists thing. I've been tempted by the Imperial Fist combat patrol because it's all the heavy infantry I like.
One I talk about a lot is a switch from (to use modern terms) Beer and Pretzel games with headcanon custom armies, to a sort of sweaty tournament mindset where creativity is hammered down in favour of official paint schemes and strict adherence to canon, balance, and GW approved set ups.
There has been a lot of advancement in tools and techniques. Even models themselves but the warhammer community seems hostile to all of it unless GW makes an official, overpriced (and often shitty) version.
As for trannies and progs. There's one thing I've wanted to discuss (I thought of making a thread but there's not really much to say). I keep hearing how the warhammer model range (and wargaming in general) is full of sexist model kits with women prancing about in armoured bikinis and combat high heels. But I can't find them. Even going outside of GW, there's a few out of print Infinity kits, and that's it. The rest I find are either 3D prints or are so obscure you three hours in a decompression chamber after finding them.
And for those wondering, Mantic Succubus seems to be the only one I can find. Things like Death Korps of Kleavage, caked up greater good, or catgirl Cat-achan are 3D prints that aren't even tournament legal, and I have no fucking sympathy for anyone who ends up finding them, downloading them, dialing in a printer, printing them, assembling them, then turning around and complaining about how over sexual they are.
