I imagine that the harlequin patrol is meant to get rid of stock before they abandon them/refresh the range.

Krieg looks like a good box. Buy 3 times if youre starting out.

Harlequins look good value but fuck painting them (yes they alt schemes, no thats not the fucking point of harlequins).

I dont know why but Aus seems to have had the IF Combat Patrol delayed indefinitely. Very strange.

Maybe? But the wedding photo and photo with his kid were from his blog before he deleted all of it. Could have picked some better photos than that, especially considering he knows he's in front of a camera and it isn't like a drivers license or work photo.

ADB is one of the few autists with notoriety to know when to get the fuck off the Internet. I occasionally look at him because he is only good when he is not touching characters already made (Lorgar is some of his worst character writing, and they had to retcon so much shit he wrote about The Emperor). He also wanted female Custodes years ago. Here's a few examples of the things he had put on the web:

Mike Brooks wrote Head of The Hydra, my favorite book, so I can forgive the Mohawk. Kinda. He looks like someone who's pissed his pants because he wasn't strong enough to unbutton them in time, though.

Reminds me of the old White Dwarf issues where they listed the staff with roles like "editor" "publicist", and then there was one guy who looked like an ork player that would be given a silly title like "chaos spawn". Off topic, but Games Master magazine used to do something similar with one guy who had a face that was somehow similar to other people/things, from Fred Durst to a coffee machine.


Got a small amount of painting done. Liking speedpaints atm, if for no other reason than my constant watering down issues aren't a thing.

I had decided on Raptors for my kill team for lore reasons, but I just realised how simple/boring their paint scheme is in person. They're like a wall of drab green. Going to stay the course and hope panel lining and highlights will save it.

I mean maybe? Ive never known Quinns to not sell quickly though, and all evidence before this seems to point to GW forgetting they exist, so I doubt its a range refresh. I mean the models still look really good, and if anyone is getting refreshed eldar wise it should be the drukhari.

Theres speculation that drukhari are the 11th edition bad guys, mostly from Poorhammer, but it stills an interesting thought. Itd be perfect considering drukhari just got a few good models, and a new edition launch would be the perfect time to refresh the range.

There is literally no Shadowseer or Death Jester in that photo...

a harlequin masque almost always has those two and GW has models for each one of them. Would make more sense to have those two than a damn Solitaire since Solitaires generally work alone.

Edit: I play only harlequins with a mixture of drukhari since you can do that in recent editions so them not including the two but including a solitaire makes no sense.

Lore wise: This has been a thing in lore for a while. The Masque of the Midnight shadow worked with the drukhari until they went with the ynnari. The Masque of the Veiled Path helped with the resurrection of Vect.

Game wise: It started around the time the ynnari was introduced since you can run harles, craftworld and drukhari together as long as they are considered Ynnari.
