I think someone just made a quick and dirty pretty accurate copy of the leaked Gulliman figure and people did a broken telephone into spreading a rumor that the actual inhouse files got leaked

The fuck's a nigger doing in the Space Wolves? Did they start recruiting from modern-day Sweden or something?

it’s been a thing for a couple years now. Big controversy started with two of em on a dawn of fire novel iirc, though I’ve heard that wasn’t technically the yiffs but some successor. Or maybe that was the UM one, I can’t remember

angry italian man is ranting about the 40k jewtubers who constantly are shilling GW dogshit lore
https://youtube.com/watch?v=t4UAoWbAvK4
Watched the video and he just says the same shit everyone here has ever said about the people he's talking about. Except his very specific autism about Luetin being over LT doing the whole "all of it is and isn't canon" meme and how he can't take LT seriously as a loretuber because of that. Which lol.
Acting like he's the benchmark for lore makes him just as retarded as everyone else though. I watched his videos on the emperor and the lost legions. And both were as boiler plate as they get.

1. Emperor is the first psyker and the stronkest, likely because he is an Old One creation. Wow, very original. At least it's not the mass psyker-cide I guess.

2. The Lost Legions were fucked from the jump and never had a shot. 2nd Primarch probably got captured and used as a weapon against the Imperium during the 2nd Randgan Xenocide(and his legion was absorbed into the 13th which is why the ballooned in numbers around the time and became the largest Legion) and Russ did the dirty work, and the 11th died before ever getting a chance.

Cool and all that he shows his sources but again, he's not any different from anyone else who takes the lore "seriously".

Black skinned individuals exist on Fenris. The planet has periods where it is close to the sun. Advantageous to have high melanin.

There’s also the fact that Space Marines increase melanin production in the presence of intense UV radiation. Pretend it’s a white guy that decided to sunbathe in orbit around a star if that helps.

Honestly, I'd say that arrogance makes him more retarded than most.

He has a patreon only video series where his paypigs submit him videos to rip apart for his expertise.
The main topic of the video is him proclaiming all other lore channels to be shit.
He constantly shills his own videos as being superior to everything else available.

As obnoxious as Bricky, Weshammer, Ian, etc can be... at least they don't have their heads that far up their own ass about what they're doing. Hell, he's got channels there that aren't even lore channels(and never claimed to be) that he's bitching about. Eons of Battle? That's a hobby channel. Goobertown? Yeah he's a lefty retard, but he's also a hobby channel, not a lore channel. This guy seems like the insufferable dickhead at any store that butts into a conversation with "um ackshually" and needs punched in the throat.
Fuck back to Reddit woke niggerfaggot. Niggers don't belong in W40K, if you don't gatekeep White culture, it will be destroyed.

Hey mods, why do you allow woke scum on this site?
You're not doing better than any reddit/twitter/bluesky slacktivist either. Go get a job at GW and convince them to stop painting niggers or shut the fuck up already. Your whining here won't change what they do at the HQ. Give the guy a dumb/lunacy/whatever rating and move on.

The Ciaphas Cain books are paint by numbers adventure novels. This isn't a bad thing, I thoroughly enjoy them, but they are far from the height of comedy. They're a comfort read (or listen in my case). I can always expect a dash of mystery, several references to Jergen smelling bad and having strange rashes while bringing Cain tea in a circumstance where it's odd to do so, a refence to a romantic dalliance that isn't explicitly described, and catty comments by Amberly about how self centered Cain's narrative is.

It's comfortably formulaic while keeping the specifics different enough to make the next book feel fresh.
That's what I like about them. I don't know why, but every single allusion to Jurgen's body odor makes me chuckle, even after hundreds of permutations. Something about Cain and Jurgen's personalities are just inherently funny to me :)

new stealth suits and wolf scouts

I quite like the new stealth suits, compared to the old ones you can really tell how far miniature technology has progressed.
ngl, I prefer the bulky, neckless style of the previous stealth suits. This new one is like a middle ground between the previous and the original.

Funny enough, this isn't the first Kill Team box set to match up Space Wolves against Tau:

I expect this new set Dead Silence will follow the example of the Volkus campaign by just including an expansion to the Tomb World terrain (which will be sold separately as a "Killzone" box).

I found my self liking the Era of Ruin anthology that released not too long ago. My favorite part was the baby Shiban saved getting adopted by two conscripts and going home with his adopted father. Also apparently Sisters of Silence read steamy romance novels to pass the time (and cope with their horrendous loneliness). ADB being forced to write that Custodes are explicitly a brotherhood was also a highlight.

Speaking of ADB, I think I know why his books bother me so much. He is a sound storyteller in theory, but all of his books are written with the perspective that the protagonists are always too cool for school and everyone else is an incorrigible moron. Now I believe ADB has claimed that he does this intentionally to show how the protagonists view themselves, but the issue is I never feel the books communicate that effectively. Maybe you could say he did do it with Night Lords, but everything else is just "my guys are cool and win, the other guys suck and they lose." If someone reads an ADB book blind, all they will get is a protagonist wankfest.

His short story in Era of Ruin really is no different. One of the Custodes (ADB writes custodes like teenagers for some reason) gathers the Talons and bursts into Gulliman's office and defeats him in a verbal argument over his reforms. Then the time-skip in the ending implies the Custodes was right about everything and that Gulliman let the Imperium stagnate.

ADB leans too much on external knowledge and materials as a crutch. He needs more counterpoint within his books. A contrasting charachter on equal footing with the protagonists would be nice for once.
I heard Fabius showed up, how was his showing?

Curious how everyone but Lucius was at the Terra rave.

A space marine and some guardsmen snuck into his little secret lab bunker on accident, he sic'd an EC legionnaire/monster/thing on them, and ran off because it's not like he'd die there. I think the space marine was supposed to be a loyalist word bearer using some crystal fulgurite thing thinking he was hunting down Lorgar on Terra for some fucking reason.

Basically he's there to figuratively twirl a moustache and leave.

Fabius was pretty cool. The short story he shows up in is mainly about the one loyalist Word Bearer, but him and the Word Bearer have an argument and Fabius sicks some abominations on them.

Basically just usual Fabius shenanigans.

Ah, so his proper characterization, good. Thanks guys, him being in Narek’s story is a weird turn but I like that during the Siege, he was just setting up shop in a Vault-Tec facility and going ham.

I've been slowly making my way through the HH books, just finished Unremembered Empire, and I'm a big fan of both Narek and his story. Hates his Legion for abandoning brotherhood and adopting backstabbing fervor, touches fulgurite, thinks that they were actually right all along about that whole "Emperor is a God" deal, proceeds to get really pissed and vows to murder Lorgar for his sins.

And then manages to kill a couple Possessed in close quarters combat with a fucking sniper rifle of all weapons before getting captured and resisting psychic interrogation from some very, very, very upset UM Librarians.
