Also completely unsurprising. Previously I had mentioned I was having a difficult time trying to think of any episodes of theirs that were actually good before I stopped listening, shit like this would be why.

The lore channels are all shit. Half of the painting channels are shit. Half of the batrep channels are shit. And half of the general game discussion channels are shit because if there's actually anyone that can play worth a crap running them, they're probably also shilling their paywalled content, private coaching, etc. nonsense if it isn't just someone focusing on a single faction that eventually gets burnt out of discussing the exact same topic twice a week.

There was a post on plebbit that was an actually painted confederate marine, stars and bars shoulder pad and all. I think the caption was making fun of pride marines or something. Unfortunately the guy that painted it did kind of a mediocre job. I wish there was an autist with the same level of skill as the guy that paints the tranny marines to paint chud marines. That would be pretty funny. Unfortunately I can imagine doing that would tank any online following you're trying to build as a model painter, even if a small subset would find it funny.

The new faction pack pdfs from GW are nice, but they need to just man up and release all the rules online. I know they’d take a hit to codex sales, but frankly with all the resources like wahapedia I doubt it’d be as big as they think.

It seems like every character is getting their own focus per episode. Chestnut had his, Bryce had his, so it's either the captain or hatemonger next. Assuming the trend continues.
 
I presenced something kinda funny on the Warhammer art sub reddit.

Every time someone shared the "ha ha sex funny" art of this dude involving the Amazons from WHFB, someone would get pissed on them being white.

Thing is, not only they are Norscan, every art of them until their introduction to Blood Bowl had them being white. They are not "native americans", they are a random human group that happens to exist in Lustria, but if you are pissed they arent brown, why not do the same for the Lizardmen, who are much closer to the generic Mesoamerican tribe in fiction, but are all green, blue and grey?

What I found interesting was that even in Reddit of all places they all ganged on the dude for being annoying.

Codices need to go away entirely. The collect dust on shelves after the initial sales, and those sales are only because they hold the rules hostage, which are outdated by the time the book is released anyways. If you want the rules day one you don't have a choice.

At least they have a half decent app to build off of. I'd love to see it expand in scope to offer score tracking too. Make it work like Tabletop Battles so it can draw objectives for you, track CP, maybe even a basic dice roller. I think the only reason they don't do it is because they can't find a way to charge $60 just for rule access. The thought of charging anything less than that is heresy.
 
Honestly, I dont care for lore youtuber videos, besides Ian and Snipe and Wib (there is another who focus on the campaign books themselves, but I cant remember the name) showing the "behind the scenes", most content will be basically the same because there is only so many ways to talk about the same theme. There is a limit on how someone can explain Power Armor marks for example.
