The tac squad, boxnaught, and terminator captain? Should be able to buy them individually for a hell of a lot cheaper than $200. Found a listing for a venerable dread for 50, tac squad is still sold by GW for 60, captain can be found on ebay easily for 40 and that's still all unpainted and unassembled. There's a bunch of stuff that's even cheaper than that and that's before even going to trolltrader, FLG's used page, or whatever else. People get retarded with discount box prices when the boxes aren't available anymore so those are almost never worth looking up.
And of course yeah, just go to recasters and get shit even cheaper.

There already is a “type” for each army, especially for the more exceptionally-minded. “Gitgud” inspired me to amp it up, whenever I overnight in the city where my GW store is, to overdo the cologne and wear club-wear to game night, cause it’s not my regular bros, who cares?

Rumours are flying around that female space marines will be cannon in the upcoming codex drop.
Doesn't help that a few hours ago GW changed the ATSKNF quote on their website from "men" to "they".

Just finished reading "Vanguard" from this Dark Coil omnibus I got. It's about the Mechanicus assaulting a Tau base and I thought it was really good. I haven't read anything from the point of view of the Mechanicus in combat yet so this was a great introduction. I love the war chants they scream in binaric chant during the battle:

They're willing to sell out to trannies by changing well established lore and turning Space Marines gay, but they're too afraid to change the game to have alternating activations. Do we have any white billionaires who can buy out GW and run it privately? Maybe Elon Musk will get into modeling, buy it out, and turn the galaxy American instead of British.
In regards to the video the Wadsworth Constant remains true to this day. It takes 4 minutes before the video actually starts. It is possible that they are just doing the usual rounds of removing gendered language, and not directly introducing female space marines, but we all know where this is leading to.

It could work.... In a limited fashion.
They need to be a rushed creation. The desperation of a madman looking for more bodies to put into the meat grinder.
They have to be few in number. A couple of isolated chapter sized groupings mirroring the sisters of battle.
Play up the body horror and emotional desolation of girls being sent into war. (the unwomanly face of war is excellent reference material)
Have most male chapters express some form of extreme concern and revulsion at their existence. The black Templars could roll with it considering they play with the sisters of battle a lot, but have most legions express some form of skepticism.
They need to go through the same fucked up hard ship and grimdark as everyone else. The moment they go merry sue and take over the narrative it's over.
Under no circumstances is sex to be brought up. Unless this involves the nu men from bile and they are their own M/F faction like the squats. Probably not going to happen though.
If sales go to shit have a backdoor in place where their genes are unstable and just kill them all.
One things for sure.... Space King is gonna make a lot of money.

I was honestly surprised at how much I liked Space King. I went in expecting cringe but I nearly burst my spleen laughing. It's no 40K by far, it's too silly and too over the top but that's also what makes it awesome. Some of the lines are drop dead funny.
Hatemonger may be my favourite Angry Marine evar.

The biggest problem with the Votann is that they have zero story. The Dwarves had a gigantic war that broke the older powers of the Old World and allowed mankind to rise.
The Tau were introduced with a major conflict with the Imperium in their background. The Necrons were introduced as the big bad besides Chaos, even after the retcon, their background is the biggest event in the setting.
What the Votann get? A comment they fought for both sides in the Heresy. They got less interaction with other factions than the Tyranids. They sat on their asses for 10 thousand years, and even after leaving the Core, no major event.

You could technically make female MAhamrines anytime, just have a Chapter with a mutated geneseed that only take women. Done! Alas, when it's done, it will be for the latter. The Great Enemy wants to destroy what you love, they don't care about anything else.
I wish they had some wins from time to time, but that would make them standard Space Marines then.

An advice. If you have infos about any tabletop drama, just post it on the Tabletop Community Watch thread. Because 1 : It helps properly separating the drama from the rest of the hobby, however gay and lame it may becoming.
And 2 : Having a cleaner thread focused on Tabletop drama helps centralizing all the drama and making it easier to archive, navigate and read.
Also if you do not do that, some of the local paint huffers(read autists) are going to be MATI.

Wait, what codex drop? Unless there’s been a marines 2.0 leak I missed, we aren’t due for a new SM codex till next edition, and that likely won’t drop till ~ Q3 next year at the absolute earliest.

The rumor is they're going to release a new SM and CSM codex before the edition is done.
There's been a rumor of a space marine 2.0 codex floating around since 9th and it ramped up when they did those weird loyalist chapter battle boxes(2 with christmas, and then the rest after in spring). The rumor came back when the new loyalist chapter master models came out, but since they got their rules for free(including the new ravenguard chapter master that wasn't just a model update) that doesn't make any sense anymore either for this edition(even the new Calgar model is still powerfists and bolters).
Also, that spikey bits codex release dates article(spikey bits? that faggot, really?) is a load of shit.
Guard getting an early codex hasn't happened since 8th edition, both the 9th and 10th were late(9th so late they only had it for a few months)
Deathguard following thousand sons doesn't make any sense either, as it was paired with grey knights in 9th, released close to GK in 10th with the rest of CSM, and the monogod marine books are recent additions to the game anyway.
Custodes listed q1 2028, but then with a note usually early-mid or mid? Make up your mind
Chaos Daemons, we aren't even sure they'd be getting an 11th edition codex considering they still haven't received one(but have as many detachments as one) for 10th
