Now, to cleanse the palate of our souls, discuss your projects, crusades and are any of you getting the dreaded “New Year’s” plans ready? I myself painted thirty cultists and had to ice my hands.
I've been working on some stuff with a friend to clean up a lot of the walls and a lot of the fan made stuff for the FFG games. I will put it in a PDF and put it on Kiwi forms when I'm done.
Also, we just wrapped up. The massive basement campaign. I've been having with a few friends of mine. We decide to take a break from the heresy and do the war of Armageddon.
Sadly a small. Glorified peace mover. Which is what I call his 5 year old son knocked over half the models.

Welp had a good battle against dem stinky nurgle gits! Lost by 30 points, but was a good krumpin for the orks. It was kinda funny, the DeathGuard could barely cheww my orks as I was rolling well on saves, but in return I could barely deant the fliers or bloaters. Did take out one drone and a few of the deathguard with the scythes, sadly didnt reach Morty. Cause so wanted for him and Ghaz to duke it out.

The buzz about Boltgun 2 starring SoB, who aren’t put at the forefront of a lot of media, made me think of the unrealized videogame potential other factions have.

Call of Duty style Imperial Guard FPS: instead of WW2 again forever you have a ton of regiments who can fight a ton of xenos or heretic factions filth on a myriad of planets. Features a commissar who shoots you for videogame shenanigans like trying to boundary break instead of assaulting the next position with your platoon or for defying orders just because the strategically key site needing to be demolished is still full of civilians.

Mechanicus Battlefront style shooter: you’re a magos who puppets his skitarii/servitor forces through the nooshpere. The switching bodies to different troop types has an in universe reason now, as does taking to the field as a hero, which in this case would just be the magos taking the field. Mechanicus Call of Duty doesn’t work because a lot of the weaponry is surgically implanted.

Inquisitorial stormtrooper Rainbow 6 style shooter: missions include assaulting cult hideouts, killing demons, ferreting out unsanctioned psykers, and rescuing (i.e. killing because they are corrupted or have seen too much) hostages.

Hitman except Divisio Assassinorum: like Hitman if you’re from the Callidus Temple except collateral damage no longer affects your score. Collateral damage actually gives you bonus points if you’re from the Eversor Temple. Vindicare Temple gets their own separate Sniper Elite style game.

Plus troons are literally Genestealers.
“What’s the issue? It’s just a girl in a series. You can handle mind destroying xenos but not that a woman can be Custodes? Or that I can be a woman? Have sex incel. You’re proof that 40k needs to be more inclusive to women like myself.”

I keep saying a battlefield or squad style game would fit for a 40k game. Just have one server and make the battle endless. No points or win condition but just endless capture and recapture of points. Throw in a battlefront mechanic where you can drop in as an astartes too. You don’t really need an elaborate story or plan just endless war.

As in, infecting third parties with their insanity to "reproduce"? Fortunately, troons will die in a generation as they remove themselves from the genepool and the poor children/weirdos they corrupt will repeat the cycle only if they live long enough to do so. Gennys instead make their victims suffer from having the average British face Deep Oneitis.

Classic joke.

*Picks up a better but xeno weapon*
"Traitor! *commisar shoots you"

Maybe a hero shooter?
A war-specced Magos is pretty much a mobile turret.

Shadow Mordor-style Eye of Terror/Chaos Space Marine game set to the backdrop of the Legion Wars with the Nemesis System set up with all the Traitor Legions (and Blackshields).

As you level up and become more powerful, you become more and more spikey, going from an HH marine to a proper Chaos Space Marine.

EC are the main villains but the voice in your head is revealed to Be’lakor, who tries to gank you for control of the warband.

Dying off in a generation or two? Lol, just like Genestealers when their ACK-gods come.

This would be insanely good. Literally.
I just want more Legion Wars content.

It’s a cool setting, freshly exiled traitors turn on and brutalize the SoH, led by the legion that the Luna Wolves mentored. It’s a shame all we have of it is two ADB books (where all his fetishes became obvious) and one Fabius Bile audio drama.

So it’s perfect for a game. The protagonist is a SoH Chieftan, company massacred by purple tards, left drifting in the void to be torn apart by demons and “saved” by a presence who gives your character, formerly a True Son (has Horus’s face and rejecting the gifts) the “tools” to get revenge, you have a psychic awakening.

Then it’s straight into the wars, building a proper Undivided warband to resist the Emperor’s Children. Ending with the reveal that no, you are not an Argel Tal brand of possession where your daemon is Venom. No, Be’lakor is making his appearance and wants to make some of the “new arrivals” his puppets and beat out the soon to emerge Warmaster as champion and you are no longer of use as an independent puppet, time to become a skin suit.

Except your legionaries aren’t “dominated” thralls and back you, because you may be a bastard Cthonian, but they’re not bending the knee to a daemon and you resist the daemon. Your army vs a horde of Neverborn and Be’lakor as the final boss.

Post-game ending (like Shadow Wars after it was revised) is your character joining the Black Legion.

That’s my 40k game pitch, playing like Arkham rather than SM2’s Dark Souls knockoff because Dark Souls ruined gaming.

Finished a 1000 point Death Guard list for the Flyblown Host detachment recently for a battle against my brother's Chaos Knights, and I'm contemplating picking up an airbrush so I can paint some Chaos Knights of my own. I've been inspired by watching some Billion Dollar Clown Farm videos to spend 150ish on a cheap set up for myself.

AS-186. Might come with a cheap brush, if not theres usually a timbertech set cheap I would recommend.

Priming and base coating? Pure fucking bliss

For an airbrush, the gaahleri ghad-39, it's like $45 and sometime is on sale on black friday/cybermonday/whatever for closer to $30. Way better than any of the $30 bullshit airbrushes that have been on amazon for a decade now. There's a million compressors out there in the $100 range AS-186 clones are common like @Mr Clark mentioned but unless you want to buy right now I'd keep an eye out for something like this combo going on sale after Thanksgiving in the US if you can order from amazon https://www.amazon.com/Gaahleri-Airbrush-GHAD-39-Compressor-GT-918/dp/B0BXWM1YJ4 The most important features in a compressor I'd be looking at to start with, moisture trap(can buy one, but a lot just come with them) and a tank so the thing doesn't have to be running the entire time you're spraying and your airflow is more consistent(no hitting the trigger and causing the compressor to kick on).

Wraight is pretty decisively killing the “IRON WARRIORS HATE CHaos!” cope.
Its so funny how people hate Abaddon for being the single exception in canon (or at least what the writers want), while also going "no everyone in the NL, IW and AL is actually free of Chaos, and so are Huron, Bile and any character I like, those arent slaves to darkness)

I just want more Legion Wars content.
Shame GW is unlikely to touch because of no Loyalist in sight.

Seeing the new Boltgun 2 trailer, looks like the Sister got a pretty cool weapon selection. Honestly, if they do the campaign in this format, where you can play any level as either of the two, without having to finish the entire campaign twice to unlock all achievements, it will be amazing.

I will wait until the release to see the reviews, remember no pre-orders.

Honestly, thats a problem with 40K in general, its as wide as an ocean, but its quite shallow for a 38 year old setting. While I get the why (70%+ of the revenue is space marines), its still a shame. Now with stuff like Dark Heresy, Mechanicum II and Boltgun II, looks like more companies are willing to present their ideas to GW that arent about the same super duper loyalists.

It’s really a case of being unable to admit that their faction isn’t their headcanon and (insert Undivided Cuck) is a slave, like everyone in 40k.

Like all those guys participated in a massacre where Kharn, Lucius and Eidolon were the spearhead of cornering and tearing apart three brother legions, then hunting the survivors for weeks and handing off any survivors to Fabius. Same with the Siege of Terra where the Traitors devolved into a mob with members from EVERY Traitor Legion in it, ignoring pre-existing grudges, alignments or even a rape mob being against their warfare style. Slaves to Darkness (the book) makes a point of them all showing up, even the AL. They are all damned, some are just more self-aware.

The girl from Lex Imperialis turns into a Chaos Spawn for less exposure to corruption.

I could see the Legion Wars being a supplement for HH when they start doing the Scouring, kinda like Cthonia. With Hobo Abaddon (or Falkus) and Lord Commander Fabius being the named characters for it. It would also make a good “standalone” box like Hive Secundus for Necromunda, where you can use it for HH but it can be played on it’s own, with marines all in the version of mark V that’s “kitbashed” as opposed to pleasure studs and daemon world terrain.

Rumors of even more UM releases, what could they even do? Vet Sergeant Telion in primaris scale? Cataphractii Termies that aren't the 30k kit? Victrix bits for bladeguard?

Well all of their Captains are named, so they could always put out models for them to ease people into not picking load outs for characters for 12th edition.

What do you mean?

I still don't know if there's an AoS thread. But I final caved to the siren's call and picked up a box of Saurus Warriors.

Not sure what the best path into AoS would be. One of the starter boxes? Grab a spearhead?
Aaron Dempski-Bowden writes with one hand and likes him some slave girls, a Serena Williams “personal” slave is a fantasy of his. He’s the cuck who’s responsible for the very funny thing happening to the Adeptus Custardes.

Check if your faction has a Christmas Battleforce, but Spearheads do seem pretty good for the most part.

I like the rats, if I do an AoS force I’m gonna get into rats. They make me smile and the world is less awful when I think of retarded cracked-out rats in lizard-hell Vietnam.
