Nah, that's the Iron Hands.
Preach brother. Iron Hands is the only first founding chapter was so bitch made that the Mechanicus uses them as sock puppets.

The Eye of Medusa and The Voice of Mars by David Guymer describes the entire chapter being subjected to brainwashing and cultural manipulation by the Mechanicus to a certain point. Like the Mechanicus attache can delete and rewrite memories of Iron Hands.

Very great novels but you have get through the boring The Eye of Medusa's boring beginning though.

I wish they made a video game version of The Horus Heresy: Legions Imperialis or to play as a Indomitus crusade fleet.

The closest I played was Chapter Master with cheats. And Gladius: Relics of War which made me want to play Age of Wonders 3 and 4 or Civilization instead.

I just want to lead a Warhammer 40'000 crusade fleet and kill xenos!

The horror stories of Etsy creators (and possibly some bigger companies) hollowing out stls to "save resin",
It does save resin, but that's not why they were brittle(it's just because over-curing the resin will make it brittle, and if not painted it will continue to cure over time if exposed to UV, like the sun etc.). But you actually should be making sure the models are hollow(fuck, plastic models are hollow, that's fine) to minimize suction forces on the film while printing and also add drain holes to avoid trapping uncured resin because that can cause printed models to just randomly explode over time(sometimes years later). These are some short videos showing examples of what I mean, yes it's a really fucking stupid problem but it's just another part of why 3d printing is its own hobby not everyone is interested in.

You know, that Alpha Legion (worst traitor legion) nigger getting a sequel at least gives me hopes that some of the good traitor legion books will get sequels, one day and the Chaos books won’t be dominated by, John French’s favourite who’s too cool for Chaos, ADB’s Night Lords who are too cool for chaos, Fabius Bile who’s too cool for Chaos, an incomplete Black Legion trilogy and one-offs with good characters who we want to see more of.

Lord of Excess 2 is my desire, I want to see how much further Xantine and Vavisk can sink.

Brothers, my decision paralysis has come back. An excess of thought perhaps. Help me pick my purple.

Its Pro Acryl Royal Purple over different primer. Order from top to bottom is black, german panzer grey, usn ghost grey and white. Im leaning the ghost grey, maybe with white zenithal.

I am also yet to pick a gold but its either retributor armour or pro acryl rich gold. Maybe I'll get those vallejo metallics when they release.

Also shoutout to Vince Venturella's vid on purple because I would have done it over black until he explained that purple is an excellent colour for different primer colours.

Okay, but Honsou really isn't just too cool for Chaos, he's too cool for everyone except Perty himself. And maybe even him... Its nice to get a villain that's evil without being mindlessly so.

Using AI to create cgi of film and practical effect/props in movies to save us from shitty soulless looking modern digital cgi slop movies is great. Soon a single autist will be able to make an entire movie faithful to whatever source or his own vision with no faggoty hollywood interference ruining it with niggers or other gay reddit shit crammed into it.

I second the ghost grey. That's a really nice shade.

I always liked the detail that Honsou got pissed off that M’kar named their warband.

He is such a petty douche, it’s great. No allusions to being greater than his grudges (Abaddon), to quote a great movie, “all he is, is what he’s going after.”

Oh yeah, he's a petty, spiteful cunt to the core, but he's smart about it. When he wanted to show up Ventris by kickstarting the latent Tyrranoforming on Tarsis Ultra, he just did it. No wild, insane rants, no hanging around after the deed was done, cackling like an idiot high on warp dust, dallying about so he can see the look on people's faces when they arrive and imperiling both his entire ship and the plan. He simply stole the plant growth virus from the AdMech and burned everything else, dumped the plant growth virus on Tarsis Ultra from orbit along with a simple message, and then he was gone, leaving only the bitter, bitter taste of defeat, ruination, and futility in his wake.

And the cherry on top is that he gave the Imperium credit and knew they'd be able to put 2 and 2 together without him all but spelling it out for them.

The Dark Eldar used to have a character that looked like this and was named after the villain from 101 Dalmatians, but she never got a model since.

Honestly, the biggest problem with marine dominance is that we don't even have the most exotic marines most of the time, it's just first founding, I would say GK, but they are the one imperial faction that you can say got worse than xenos.

Like I understand, Marines sell more, but just how much is their % in sales? I'm sure Guard must be around 2nd or 3rd most played, yet I'm sure the Ultramarines got more models than the entire Guard range.

at the rate they release kits I wouldn't be surprised if we see carcharodons, black dragons, and other novel successors in the same way we got forgeworld red scorpions. Those were from campaign books I know but eventually GW wont have anywhere to go without upping the scale of the game again to force marine piggies to repeat the cycle. Imagine them trying to make a Joytoy scale game system, or inquisitor.

that Alpha Legion (worst traitor legion)
The problem I have with AL is how they are treated as "we won't lose because we plan", everyone makes plans, and, as the saying go, "no plan survives contact with the enemy"

I love Shroud of Night because just sheer bad luck fucks them up multiple times (like losing both their Terminators before even landing), and they are forced to make quick decisions all the time, as well as they lack perfect information on their enemies.

The "That's Commissar Halt!" clip from Final Liberation will always be fantastic.

Was hobby-ing with a friend. Pretty good painter. Not golden demon tier but his figures wouldn't look too out of place in a GW shop window. Let's say 6 or 7 out of 10. Turns out he doesn't use a wet palette, just a cheap 40p tile like the old days. Nice. But then I see he often uses paint straight from the pot, and doesn't prime. ...everything I knew about painting was a lie.

He was working on a sick Space Wolf themed Knight with a diorama base. Supposedly the local 40k community hates it because a: "Space Wolves don't have knights", and b: The base is tundra and "Fenris is a snow planet".
