I could’ve sworn they do limited releases of some guard models.
They've done some as made to order in the past. Steel legion, Valhallans, and Vostroyans have been done as MTO with Steel Legion being the most recent back in 2023. If they actually sold worth a shit, they'd probably be happy to re-do them in plastic.
It shows how ignorant a lot of these Warhammer tourists are. Armageddon is as important as Cadia at least in the eyes of imperial designations. They aren't just going to leave the world and anyone who says otherwise is getting a bullet.
They also likely have no idea that Armageddon is Ullanor, or what Ullanor even is.

I doubt we'll see Steel Legion even as a killteam, I feel like they want to keep the guard lines to just Catachan, Cadians and Krieger since their gay army variants already cover mechanized infantry, Krieg had too much meme power even though arguably the SL had more weight considering how much importance they give to Armageddon
All you guys gotta do is meme Steel Legion, Krieg only got a full plastic range for

>Was apparently a major paypig line for forge world
>The memes

Elysians do not get the same precedence even being a fellow FW release but they arent memed as much since they are shitty paratroopers who kept dying and werent grimdark tread heads

Nameless they/them Arbites (arbite?) makes a brief cameo in The Remnant Blade before being vented. It's pretty good otherwise. Seems to be a 500 page ad for Nemesis Claw, some of the 10 man warband are based on the operatives.

Nu Hammer fags not understanding that the man was telling the guard to abandon billions of lives because he was afraid is hilarious.

The governor would have been arrested and then court marshaled irl if he tried doing this. The T'au would have killed him on the spot if he was one of them and had tried doing this.

These leftist fags don't understand that in total war where your enemies are going to enslave you at best and kill you in horrible ways at worst you don't tell the soldiers to fucking run.

Yarrick - Will kill you

Gaunt - Will get the job done himself and then call you shit

Ciaphas - Will point out the errors in your logic but wont outright take control since thats to much work

Holt - will slap you

She popped up as a nerd thot a while back, tried to get into MTG, bounced out of it, inserted herself into the 40k scene after covid and begging some rando vendors to sponsor her slop. Apparently likes to shove her kid into her content, doesn't hide her husband, but the entire thing is questionable. She doesn't even get many subscribers or views. Just constantly surrounds herself in drama while producing slop. Can't even mention gundam without her trying to generate some kind of beef no one gives a shit about. Apparently doesn't even do her own paintjobs, as she just does some base coats and then has someone else do "paintover" work?

The last pick-me with a "norn queen" name(alexis) managed to turn out to be a mess, I'm sure this one will eventually as well.
Oh ive seen her in random comment sections under other videos, didn't know she was relevant to anything ever.

To be fair, I didn't know that. I've also never read any of the Armageddon material though
Weird as it is, I don't think the old Armageddon material would even have that. My understanding of the situation is that the War of the Beast storyline ended with admech teleporting(something about using ork tech for this) Ullanor to the Armageddon system because the fabricator general wanted to save the ork tech for some stupid fucking reason instead of the ordered exterminatus.

That would also mean the entire thing is a possible reason to bring Vulkan back.

She tries to be, but isn't really.

Not all tau players (>playing. Yeah right) but always a taufag

These “people” if you can call them that should be sent to the skinning pits! Without the Imperium humanity is doomed. It’s stuck in perpetual stagnant grind entirely thanks to Horus and his Heresy. “Preservation of human life” yeah you have to send men into battle to safeguard humanity. Just about the take you’d see from someone who calls the Imperium fascist and they should try democracy instead without even understanding the scale of the Imperial worlds

Just getting into the hobby. Before I make the plunge and buy models, how likely is the company to go all woke and gay and rewrite lore to appeal to the worse sides of nerd culture? Are there lots of people like the one currently discussed?
What factions are you interested in? Certain armies are more resistant to moral decay from the outside and even then, it's cool to hear what a new player might be interested in :)

Calling the Armageddon Steel Legion "Glup Shitto" is wild
They're tourists. Your sacred cows are just "funny nerd things" that "some people take too seriously lol."

"Your universe has no meaning to them. They will not try to understand. They will be tired, they will be cold, and they will make a fire with your beautiful oak door." - Jean Raspail, The Camp of the Saints

They don't understand why retreating from the Orks isn't an option
They don't understand why surrendering Armageddon to a Waaagh isn't an option
They don't understand why the idea of "just try and do a peace treaty with the Orks" would never work

They just know "funny nerd thing."

It’s real simple

If they had models in the past or were forge world they are not glup shitto. I noticed other people complaining about regiments that never had models ever to get their brownie points. So steel legion aren’t since they had metal minis. Another key indicator is the fact even the modern sticker sheet lists out other regiments still

GW could maybe respond or they don’t it depends but guardfags are all chud doomposting again that the fact a cheaply funded cgi trailer with model reuse means it’s over. I am slightly worried as valrak never heard leaks of steel legion but knew of Yarrick..

I am bored so I thought of a quick comparison

NOT GLUP SHITTOS
>Steel Legion
>Pretorians
>Mordian Iron Guard
>Elysian Drop Troops
>Atitlan Rough Riders
>Vallhallens
>Vostroyans
>Catachans
>Tallarns

GLUP SHITTOS
>Harakoni Warhawks (These guys are never EVER tier as Elysians exist and are in a MAYBE tier)
>Jopall Indentured Squadrons
>Maccabean Janissaries (This one hurts I like FFG)

>Ventrillian Nobles

The grey area here to me are Death Worlder/Penal Legion/Ganger adjacent regiments like Salvar Chem Dogs, Guants Ghosts, Last Chancers. They are way more prominent in BL books especially non catachan death worlder regiments. However, another issue is that so called 40k purists especially guardfags tend to forget these glup shitto regiments were made combining random historic miniatures with las guns. I understand being mad over lore erasure but so called anti GW purists seemingly wait years for official GW updates they will hate (I know a select few death korps giga chuds who hate the plastics) there is plenty of cheaper alternatives or 3d print options but I can go on and on.

I can give a run down of Space marine glup shittos too, as marines are harder but there are a few outliers I can highlight that fall into the realm of it.

Which makes me question why is there unions on Warhammer 40k?
As long as the governor doesn't care, you can do a lot of shit. In Last Days of Ector there is a charity network that technically is not registered, but the governor let them do their job to keep morale high. Said charity turns out to be supplied by Asurmen himself in their last weeks.

I said before I really like the RPGs, a good reason is how they introduce minor, local stuff, showing you dont need giant galaxy-spamming factions to be cool.

The origins of the Cestelle Alliance lie on the world of Regulus in the Hazeroth Abyss. Regulus was an agri-world run by the Administratum, but when their adepts were all killed by a meteor impact, the small feudal kingdoms took over the management of their world. By the time contact with the Imperium was re-established, it was clear that the alliance of indigenous peoples was running the agri-world more efficiently than the Administratum, and the natives of Regulus were left to their own devices as long as their tithe of food was met. From this string of events was born the Cestelle Alliance, the unified people of Regulus, who sent members to other, less promising worlds and transformed them over the following decades into fertile agri-worlds in their own rights, passing on enormous tithes to Sector Governor Hax’s government. Slowly, almost without the other Great Houses knowing, the Cestelle Alliance amassed the wealth and power to make them the equal of the other sector houses.
The Cestelle Alliance now controls many agri-worlds in the Calixis Sector. It has not escaped the notice of Lord Sector Hax that the Alliance, if it wished, could cut off food supplies to the Sector’s most populated worlds and create a crisis of famine to hold the sector to ransom. To keep the Alliance firmly on the Imperial l side, Hax has appointed Egoyan Cestelle as the governor of the Adrantis Nebula and continues to permit the Alliance rights to its agri—worlds. The members of the Alliance must walk a curious tight rope between maintaining the traditions of their home worlds and kingdoms, and acting like fully recognized nobles of the Calixis Sector. The traditions of Regulus include facial tattooing (with the higher- ranking nobles sporting extraordinarily intricate scrollwork), incinerating the house’s dead on funeral pyres and praying to the Emperor in the raucous manner first taught to the people of Regulus by Imperial missionaries.

Skaelen-Har is a massive corporation founded on a set of comprehensive philosophical principles known as the Concordium. The Skaelen-Har Hegemony is a very powerful and efficient heavy manufacturing corporation with concerns across the Calixis Sector, including hundreds of factoria in Hive Sibelius and Gunmetal City. One of its major products is spaceship parts and the Battlefleet Calixis in particular relies on Skaelen-Har to keep its warships in space. The connection between the Imperial Navy and the Hegemony is strong, since without the Hegemony the Battlefleet Calixis would be completely grounded.

Dark Heresy Core Rulebook

Fantasy Flight Games' OC lore was quite good... Until they had to drop the license. Dark Heresy 2.0 was quite a failure in both mechanics and lore. Also, I've been re-reading the Deathwatch books, they have interesting plot-points as mentioned, but by 2010 you could start to notice a "they" sneakily introduced here and there to refer to regular marines... Come post 2016, "they" is fucking everywhere in any rpg book, literature, chat, whatever.
Dunno if modern pnp rpgs have good lore, I loathe spotting the bloody "theys" everywhere. Oh, and the OC Blood Angels Successor having a nigga on the book's cover.

I think one thing that GW really fucked up on about the Yarick trailer was the fact they only revealed his model, which I mean is obviously a fuck up.

The trailer doesn't make much sense when you look at it. The Kriegsman and Cadians are going to fight and die regardless. They don't care where they are as long as they're fighting the enemies of mankind.

So the governor telling them to run and abandon their posts makes no sense. If these were homegrown Steel Legionaires they wouldn't have run but it at like would have made more sense for the governor to order their retreat. To plead with them to save themselves for the sake of Armageddon.

And then Yarick calling them soldiers of Armageddon would have also made sense. GW had a very easy win by having one of the first nonleak reveals be Yarick with a combat patrol of refreshed Steel Legion and they fucked it up like they always do.
