No idea why they wouldn't do that, the book only has 19 pages of rules.

Shekels, you still need to pay for the full set I guess. Though I would think the morale boost to their playerbase done by a totally free codex would bring back a lot of veterans.

Just picked up some orks for the first time and was wondering what strategy i should go for

for me it just seem to be to load up some burna boys and a heavily armored warboss in a truck and just drive straight into the carnage while supported by a Mek with Lootas

any good or is their a better way to play?

Trucks, Trucks and even more Trucks! Also Warboss on bikes.

A seven page thread of sandy vaginas deciding if a tournament winning list was actually a blood angels army.

From playtesting - okay, one game - Killa Kanz are pretty devastating in the current edition. So is Mega Armor, but you'll still want to watch out for troops armed with anti-armor weapons.

Previous Edition, I personally liked using a Battlewagon with Flash Gitz riding in it. They might still have a kick in this edition, although I dont think they have Gitfinders at all anymore, will have to check.

I've been going through each of the Indexes. The books feel far more cleaner now. It's really weird going and using a new point system (power rating). The new edition feels like Warmachine/ Hordes but with vehicles, not that that's a bad thing. This edition is growing on me.

Alright, so I've been working on my orks. Decided to go with Deathskulls as my faction. My question is, what the hell is the use of this thing? bitzstore.com says weapon shield but I don't know of any weapons I own it would fit unless I cut it apart. It's in the boyz kit for reference.

It attaches to the forward shaft of the rokkit launcha behind the rokkit and acts as a sort blast shield.

Oh so that is what it is. I thought it was a bosspole decoration.

That is techno heresy of the highest order. Now my meatbag friend, you have been selected as the heir of a martian Tech-Mage. But to authorise the transfer of funds we need you to give us fifty tons of gold, a thousand of your subjects for servitorisation and just a few cybernetic augmetics....

Sorry...I only trust The Greater Good.

Sorry for the double post but people wanted the quick rules for 8th Edition?

Except they aren't actually free. There's a good reason why I never post troves or links publicly for works that are copyright.

Oh don't get me wrong, I got the books last week when they were uploaded elsewhere. However, GW is very anal about their IP so linking their books for long can get a site in trouble. It's one reason why people obscure certain companies names because they're lawyers. Like back in the day, they were going to sue Curse for having Addons for Warhammer Age of Reckoning on their site, among other things related to their IP.

Suit-happy, but also inept given that they also got into hot water for trying to enforce a copyright on Space Marine and Imperial Guard. It's getting their shit pushed in court that is why the company forced a change of all of their in-house reference to only be Astartes and Militarum.

It's honestly why if I ever did have the scratch to set up an army; it's a lot more likely I'd just spring for a Warmachines v. Hordes army. Heck, if I got say the Menoth army (despite being lukewarm to it), I could BS on how I could use it for an Ecclesiarchy army due to similar aesthetics.

Khador or bust for me, since I want to make CN Russia great again. Oh, and another similarity is that like 40k, they have bonny blue bastards that are the main force of good in story and in mascot-form.
