Anyone read this? I could actually give less than two shits about 'muh representation' in GW but it's the complaint itself that makes no sense. You literally paint the models how you want. Their features are SO SMALL or in a helmet that you can't really establish race?

Also, the line 'If I were a person of colour...' and literally speculating what we want is the biggest mark of liberal racism. 'My opinion should be your opinion poor ignorant nonwhite' at least with racist far right they aren't preaching to me about how to feel and hiding behind progressive ideology.

But that blog post is not the first I've come across when it comes to GW or hell, tabletop in general, and all of these posts are usually white dudes doing this hand wringing where they act like 'we white people need to do better and have more diversity'? I just...don't get it. At all.

I guess they forgot those lion theme Spess Mahrins that got ripped apart by the Inquisition, The White Scars, Salamanders, Tallarn, Janissaries probably, and so on... and they can paint their minis that way easily. As moronic as the reeeing for FemMarines.

They could have at least made the argument about why a bunch of black Space Marines as better with Flamethrowers than other Space Marines (Salamanders). Like in the current rule set, they're deadly as fuck.

That needs to be taken to UK Parliament instead as GW is a UK company, but I agree with it. Why can't they use the warp to deep strike?

Actually, 40k has it that planets seem to have around 1 or 2 ethnicities.

For example, in the Cain novels, a black guardswoman is seen as "must have been from parents off world" because all Valhallans are space ruskies.

But this applies not just to whites. There are supposed to be entirely black planets. Glavians are black for example, yet I bet white barista apologist sjw types never even heard about them.

How more expensive is Warhammer 40k to get into then Fantasy? Used to own a Skaven army (Which bled my wallet) and since Fantasy is dead, and I have TWW to fill that itch, was thinking of getting started on a reasonable army in 40k. (Maybe Chaos?)

You could go with a Chaos Daemon army that is functional in both 40K and AoS.

40k has a lower entry point as more elite armies are possible.

So how does a Nurgle daemon army deal with flyers? I'm kind of hating the idea of flying things. I guess I could go with a Heldrake, but I kinda don't want to invest all that money into a model that I'm not crazy about (the model's great, but not at all Nurglesque).

also, I was making a WH40K roguelike but I decided to convert it into a Harvest Moon game

at the moment, it's a peaceful village sat directly on top of a Space Hulk and I find it hilarious
