Well looking at admin posts and posts from members, they don't understand the rules of the game and they hate/ don't understand the fluff of the game. In other word's, they're your typical SJW community.
 
Slitherine have announced they are publishing a 40k 4X game by Proxy Studios:

I haven't played it but the company making it created another 4x game in 2003 called Pandora: First Contact which recieved middling reviews from both critics and users.
 
Just seems like a copy of their Armageddon game, which suffers from utterly horribly slow turns ( up to 30+ minutes for an enemy turn).
 
I'm impressed they actually brought the Necrons in as one of the main playable races this time.
 
Has anyone here had any experience with the new Necromunda? Is it worth getting one of the bundle with everything or should I wait till more gangs are released?
 
So that Only War game I'm running Saturday afternoons had a dropped player. Anyone interested in signing up for the Tallarn 13th? We have Sentinels, and if you're a good boy, maybe even Chimeras.

Totally inaccurate.

The few women that play 40K aren't treadheads. Still, two out of those five are fairly accurate, although they didn't draw the stink lines coming off of them.
 
So has anyone read the Spikey Bits article asking for GW to ban players?

I only heard it from Arch.

So far Bell of Lost Souls and Spikey Bits have become a lost cause in the hobby. I wonder who's next?

Lore video creators at least seem to be either neutral or Right leaning.

Reading the article now and it’s stupid to believe GW would enact bans. Yeah they’re pushing shadespire but player numbers aren’t a thing at GW.
Even then if they did start throwing out bans more people play at independent tournaments than GW stores. I don’t even see independent tournament organisers like Frontline Gaming handing out bans unless something major happens, 40k has always did a great job of keeping other player in check and we didn’t need moralfags then and we don’t need them now.

Bans would hurt their sales more than help them. It's like the people over at Spikey Bits doesn't know a thing about the hobby when it comes to the actual players. Every game and every club I've been to always had people who joked about random things, thinking they should be banned for such things is foolish.

If you don't want such people in your group, don't invite them. Don't go punishing everyone. It's a simple enough concept. Like Christ, these players like Grimdark. A universe setting where the world isn't nice, why expect players to be?

I've never heard anyone reee about Warhammer being anti-American. The author was straining to draw a moral equivalence between SJWs and the Right when it comes to bitching about female Space Marines. I get that he's trying to get all sides to come to the table, but one side sees the other side as Literally Hitlers I Can't Even, so they have no moral imperative to meet them halfway.

I do expect female Primaris Marines soon, fraternities are essentially anathema among fiction writers. Nevermind that the Sororitas exist and are a cherished part of the canon.

In non SJW related news, lore just had a major fucking shift in the latest Horus Heresy shindig

Turns out the ultimate architect of the Heresy was infact....

The Emperor.

Basically the whole thing was infact a
repeat of him betraying and exterminating the Thunder Warriors. The Primarchs and Spess Mehreens had served their purpose and he wanted to have them wipe eachother out to save himself the trouble of doing it personally. The only fault in the plan was that Chaos got involved and turned it from the intended Marine/Primarch civil war to full on warp tainted apocalypse.

He was going to get rid of all of them? I thought he was just going to get rid of the ones that wouldn't fit in his more peace time Imperium.
Seems like the Emperor just keeps revealing that not only he is an asshole more and more but he is also kind of incompetent and the source of all his own problems.
