So much Hy has the inquisition not stepped in yet to tell the best lter bitches to calm th e fuck down and stop wasting the Empero's resources?
Mercs and Administratum pretty much are working together to keep the war going. The mercs want the war to go as long as possible to keep getting paid and to keep the value of the crab corpses high. The Admins want it that way because it allows them to fudge the Imperial Tithing by keeping them within sector for the "Acheron Pacification Crusade".

Also these Sororitas are utter lunatics. Like, TTS Fyodor level fanatic.

So I want to build a second army alongside my Nurgle army. I'm thinking Black Templars, Imperial Guard or Chaos Daemons. I dunno yet.
If I were going for a Guard force, I'd take a look at the amazing resin kits from Anvil industries.

They even has this 3d designer program to facilitate customizing different bodyparts into the type of regiment you like to have. The proportions is a lot better than the now ancient Cadian or Catachan kits from GW

Oh I remember these guys! They were the company that a /tg/ user talked about when he made models for one of the many homebrew regiments that were created on site; the Argo Brigade in their second thread when they were trying to make them look a bit different from the Kriegers they ripped off:

IG all the way, though I also agree with the cadian models. Got tired of looking at them after awhile and moved all my infantry models to dreamforge kits.

I would love it if GW spiced up their guard line. It would be great if they threw in a few female models for cadians& had some plastic regiments that weren't cadians or catachans. I know you can buy the heads from 3rd party sites but I wish it was like the fire warriors box. I've seen some cool conversions with the necromunda kits though.

I gave up hope on GW ever giving attention to regular guard infantry, like 10 years ago. There's a wealth of options now so just write GW off when it comes to guard and you might get stuff done.

The new Necromunda kits are great, but not well conducive to a regimented guard force IMO. If you don't know about them already, check out https://victoriaminiatures.com They have a great selection of female and male guard style regiments.

Is the reason that Games Workshop won't make different models for Imperial Guard units is because they won't sell, they are too cheap to attempt to make different models for a regiment like Tarith's First and Only, they lack the creative vision, or my last and truly suspected one where it might cause the beloved Space Marines to even lose a portion of their glory points?

It feels like the latter, I'd love for IG themed box set. My friend plays Orks and for as big as Ghazkull vs Yarrick is, I'd imagine an Armageddon themed box featuring those two would be pretty sweet. Forgebane was pretty neat, almost got one to split in half with him since he also plays Necrons.

While I love most of the guards regiments, I still like the Cadians being the cookie cutter template. I feel the conventional modern day soldiers is the best representation for the Imperial Guard. They have the least fantasy quality to them that contrasts to the threats they have to face on a daily basis. Something about them always represented the common man to me the best in a way the Catachans, Death Corps, or Mordians could never do. That said I would love to see some new Steel Legion models.

EDIT: also im increasingly hearing rumours that Sanguinius will be returning, to much nerdrage at how this apparently fucks the story up. Personally I hope if he does come back he comes back as a full on Super Black Rage infected psycho god since that would be a nice subversion of the saintly faggot he was before death

He's been confirmed "not dead" for ages.
He's confirmed as "pretty much healing" in James Swallows Blood angels novels and gets a pretty clear "just about done healing" in the devastation of Baal stuff.
Personally I'd love to see him back given his history with Papa smurf and the imperium secondus debacle, his reaction to seeing his brother trying yet again would be priceless.

That guy did good shit.

We need more 40K Westerns

Pretty much a mixture of all that.

An article in which a little girl is goaded into playing Age of Sigmar by her prodding mother, and remarks that the dull dangerhair on the cover of the new rulebook reminds her of herself. Motherly validation ensues. God knows that's why I started an army of plague monks, because I am a rat man with massive shoulder tumors. The unintended consequences of choosing an army because they look like you is that you are essentially playing mock battles to cleanse the world of people who do not look like you.
