Fuck I had another batch of shit I wanted to buy and then this happens.
Guess I'll stop being a retard and look more into recasters,
(if you're willing to spoonfeed me the euro shiping ones that would be nice.

Go apply for the Yoyhammer subreddit. Lots of useful info in there. Reviews, who has what models, regular catalog updates, help with working with recasts in general, etc. Really can't recommend it enough :D

What the fuck is up with Helbrecht's voice? At first I thought that was the TTS team joking around, but now I'm watching Helsreach and he actually sounds like that. That is how he officially sounds, despite being described as guttural in the actual text. What the fuck, mang?
well screaming about purging an heretics to fill the monthly quota will do that to your voice.

also these sis models.

somfin bout the faces cant nail it though but hey atleast they are on the way.

Sisters of Battle were never that good. They weren't popular. And no, you can't say "they were only unpopular because they were only available in metal for like, forever". Yeah, I know- those metal models that had been around since like 2002. That's what was available, because they didn't fucking sell.

Sisters aren't awful, but not great. They're going to come out and people will cry because they might require more effort than playing Primaris Space Marine bubble blobs.

The main reason people have been 'demanding' Sisters of Battle is the same reason some wheezing kid in his early 20's is only bleating and mewling "Hey you remembah squats? Bring back da squats!"- and he's never ever seen one of them, because honestly 40k at its core is stupid and absurd and Squats are just a level of stupid absurdity that is best left in the past with Inquisitor Obi Wan Sherlock Cluesseu.

Honestly I'm all for SoB because its another Imperium faction that isn't Primaris Space Marines.

What I like about SoB is that the ones in the helmet/masks look cool AF. They are the definition of the gothic space insanity that makes the Imperium interesting.

I thought the whole point of the Sisters is that they're these crazy fanatics who are constantly getting their shit pushed in by literally everything. Makes sense that it would take rainman levels of autism to make them an effective fighting force on the table.

Having played a game against Index sisters, they're alright. Lots of firepower compared to what I was taking - a Deathwing-centric DA force.

I’ve only played against Sisters once... back in 4th edition. They were interesting.

How’d your match go? Which mission were you playing? What army did you take? What was their list like?

The "getting their shit kicked in" thing is mostly a relic of older fluff, I think. They were used as jobbers to make the Necrons look good during their debut back in 3rd edition, and then there was that hilariously nonsensical story about some Grey Knights who killed a bunch of Sisters to use their blood as anti-daemon paint, which got retconned when people pointed out how stupid that idea was.

Ah Matt Ward... that had to be his worst storyline. He has a weird thing about butchering space nuns.

but bolter bitches? and wazzoks in spaaaaaaace?

Sisters of Battle are going to appeal to a bunch of fetishist weirdos, and they're just going to end up gluing their heads on Space Marines and lecturing me about why we need female space marines and I'm just going to end up putting the Russ tanks down and shutting them up.

I hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure "Primaris Space Marines" will be the only Space Marines available. Eventually they'll all be roughly the same size and "Primaris" won't mean shit. They'll all just be 2-wound marines with an extra attack, all the loadout options. They're already insanely compatible.

while i can see that being a possibility, i think they will stick around given how primaris in certain chapters will and are causing divides such as the dark angels, and also the fact that Mk 7 has been around for so bloody long to see it phase would leave abit of a hole.

Oh, you're thinking about Lore. Something that GW plays fast and loose with.

See, I'm thinking in what's going to have a bigger vote in that- and that's the suits at GW.

If you think for one second that they haven't considered just making all Marines "Primaris" so that people will go buy two kits to make sure their Devastators, Intercessors, Assault Marines, and Captain are all the same size.... yeah, you're crazy.

Eventually, I think they'll just say that the whole "Primaris" marine thing was a phase in upgrading all Space Marines (remember that they cleverly added that regular Marines can become Primaris Marines, like Marneus Calgar). They'll eventually work in new kits or at least new stat lines for every Space Marine character, and all the rest of the marines will just have "Primaris" stat lines and life will go on.

I mean, for what it's worth- I have been kit-bashing the old marines and new marines together for a few months. Most of it's entirely compatible. I mean, really all you can't use from the old marines? Legs. That's really about it. My kill-teams have Primaris bodies, but original helmets if they're supposed to be "regular" marines and other helmets if they're "Primaris".

I don't recall the exact mission per say or their list, but I do have the Army List I used in that match. Scratch that last one. I know they took Celestine and a Sister Superior. Lots of storm bolters and Immolators, too.
