My Lizardman/Seraphon army has been a side project if mine for ages, but if GW updated the Skinks to look like the new Blood Bowl Skinks, I'd be all in.

I don’t if it’s just perspective but the skink head on the left looks way too large for the body.

>Decide to finally to take a deep dive into 40k lore after playing Total War Warhammer 2 perks interest in the series
>Start reading online, watching youtuber lore videos, this shit is interesting. Reading up on the different Chapters, Primarchs and Imperial Guard regiments
>Decide to pop onto 40k lore subplebbit to read up on some "grimderp lore."
>First post I see is how some guy called Arch Warhammer is banned permanently from the subreddit because of all the isms. Comments are talking about how "progressive" the Imperium of Man is.

What the actual fuck is this? How can an Imperium dedicated to a Christ figure with a focus on eradicating xenos scum be "progressive? I've heard about the fucking Marvel - GW team up for 40k comics, but god damn does that shit seem worrying for you guys.

IDK, might get a model or two for my shelf if my interest keeps up.

Because the Imperium of man are false gods, come join the Necron and worship Mal'ladroth.

Not worried one bit. Everyone here knows what 40k is really about: big tit xeno chicks getting righteously "purified" by mankind. Or I've just been looking at the wrong material.

The thread in question for all who are interested

They also have a hate boner for Commissar Gamza but he isn’t banned because he’s not that bad yet. Though their spite toward Gamza isn’t unwarranted when you listen to his “I’m super awesome 40K player!” without any actual track record of tournament placing as far as I’m aware of.

Edit: Arch has made a response video

Not particularly.

The only way you shoehorn progressive thought into 40k is to distort the lore so heavily the regular fans laugh and say 'Nah, that ain't 40k'. People were mocking the kiddie Warhammer Adventures books because the 40k ones were so bowderized as to border on absurdity.

Gamza is on my shit list for saying Nurgle and Slaanesh are boring. I guess having tons of personality (more than Khorne, at least) = boring.

The thing about SJW Warhammer fans is that there aren't that many of them. It's 2000 or so morons who sit on social media all day frequenting all the same sites in unison. They don't buy the models, though they might get Mechanicus when it comes out on Switch.

There is a Warhammer 40k kids series...

I enjoy Arch's lore videos. They're nice to have on in the background when I'm doing shit, tho his forced "lore voice" can get kind of grating.

Apparently the subreddit is pissed that he's espoused displeasure at the CCP and they're taking it as "sinophobism", which is a slick new trick by the CCP. Oh, you hate us? You must be racist!

My fiance is Han Chinese and I can affirm that the CCP are a bunch of faggots.

Not really. Playing boring humans has always been the gay thing to do, anyway...

In all seriousness though, just espouse that which you enjoy and oppose that which does not. The hobby is still pretty niche and doesn't have enough unwilling paypigs to keep it afloat should they make a considerable blunder.
